Guest Access: Guests will have full access to the entire house, including the large outdoor patio and private parking. A unique access code will be provided for seamless check-in.

Getting Around: A car is recommended for easy access to local attractions and beaches. The home is a short drive from popular spots like Akaka Falls, downtown Hilo, and various beaches.

The Neighborhood: Located near Akaka Falls, Honomu House is perfect for those seeking a tranquil escape with stunning ocean views and close proximity to nature. Explore the nearby waterfalls, scenic parks, and beautiful coastline, all while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of this quiet neighborhood.

By making a reservation, you are agreeing to follow these HOUSE RULES:

- Please treat the House with Care and Respect, thanks.

- No Smoking inside the house

- No non-paying guests sleeping over

- No commercial parties or events without prior written permission from us.

- No more than 13 people without prior written permission, thanks.

- Sound travels easily.
Please respect Quiet Hours from 9pm - 8am, so as to respect the neighbors.

- If you need an EARLY CHECK IN / LATE CHECK OUT please let us know at least 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE and we will try to accommodate you -- please note that it is NOT GUARANTEED THOUGH, and it depends on our cleaners and our booking schedule. If we are able to change things around to accommodate your request, please note that there will be a convenience charge of $20 per hour that that we are able to give early / late. We will request this via airbnb request.

- Only 1-2 Pets allowed upon request and payment of the Pet Fee.
IMPORTANT: If you do bring your pet, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO LEAVE THEM ALONE & UNSUPERVISED IN THE HOUSE! As we have found the hard way that they will then bark non-stop and disturb the neighbors, as well as possibly do damage to the house when left unattended. So please do not plan on bringing them and then leaving them alone in the house while you go on excursions, etc.
Also you must clean up after them or there will be a charge for that, thanks. (Sorry but we have learned things the hard way that we need to say these things).
