Condo had everything you need for a wonderful time in Maui. Snorkle gear, beach chairs, cooler, we were able to grill and cook a couple of times. The harbor where most of the cruises depart is a 10 min walk and there is a small mall around there as well. 20 min from the airport and right in the middle of Maui . We love our stay there
I love Maalaea. Turtles galore on the shore below, whales in the distance. Secluded and close to all you need.
The condo has great views of the ocean and was the right size for two people. I was grateful for the beach accessories provided like a cooler, snorkel gear, and lawn chairs. The condo had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay including most kitchen tools. The bedroom and bed were comfortable and had plenty of storage. Some of the things that I thought could be better was the cleanliness of the floors, as I noticed my feet getting dirty quickly after walking barefoot the first night. I also noticed ants when we left an empty pizza box on the counter. The shower only has half a glass wall so water was getting on the floor and wall unless you placed a mat right up to the corner of the shower entrance.
Room was nicely done. Good kitchen, laundry. Propert location was just ok. Property grounds were ok.
Need dish towels. Nothing to dry dishes. Also there were only 2 beach towels, one of which was a bath towel. Other than that, very nice condo.
We were so happy to return to Maui this year and to the Ma’alea Banyans property. This unit is perfect! Clean, comfortable, convenient location. Plenty of whale activity right outside our patio daily! We didn’t want to leave! Looking forward to returning next year! Mahalo nui loa, aloha and a hui hou!
We enjoyed staying at the condo very much. It was clean and located right in front of the ocean. We loved watching the turtles, the moon and the starts from the balcony. We also loved swimming in the pool and relaxing in the jacuzzi.
Building was lovely and view was goergeus. We really enjoyed staying there.
We love Maalaea because of its central location and the view from most units is A+. We saw whales, turtles and fish from our lanai within the first 5 minutes of arrival. We were staying for 14 days so chose this unit for the price compared to others. Other than the bed which I believe to be a double not a queen size and the clothes dryer which was difficult to use because the dial was broken, the unit was comfortable. It’s well stocked with dishes, towels and linens but didn’t have good beach chairs or boogie boards.
Condo was very nice, We enjoyed the location, Convenient location between Lahaina and Kehie and Waliea. Very clean and comfortable.
The unit recently sold to the current owner who is planning an update very soon. It needs an update. The kitchen and bathroom were nice and had everything we needed. The unit needs a fresh coat of paint throughout, new flooring to replace the carpet, and new furniture throughout. Though clean, the unit is just outdated and the furniture and A/C unit is ready for replacement. The “million dollar view” can’t be beat. It’s direct oceanfront. We saw turtles and whales every day from our balcony. The unit has beautiful grounds, pool, hot tub, and grilling area. The location is ideal for a quiet, serene atmosphere yet it’s located within easy walking distance to a nice beach park. The Maui Ocean Center, Beach Bum’s Restaurant, a convenience store with gasoline, and Maalaea Harbor. Other attractions, beaches, restaurants, and groceries are within short driving distance. We enjoyed our stay and will not hesitate to re-book with Carolyn. I’m pretty excited to see what she does with this condo.
