It was perfect. Home was near and orderly. Well stocked kitchen with all the items need ed d to get your food prepared. Bedrooms were perfect. Property was beautiful.
I cannot say enough about this Hale! The place is absolutely lovely, and it is surrounded by a tropical garden! Breadfruit in the front yard, Avocados and bananas in the back. Not to mention the variety of flowers all around the property.
And the neighbors were an absolute delight. Many kids playing and they seemed to like my stories about Canada and how cold it is here.
The owners are nearby and are more than happy to help out if there is something missing or you need something special.
If you are planning on visiting Maui in the near future (something I highly recommend) arrange a time when Hale Roselani is available. You will not regret it!
Excellent: friendly neighbors and dogs, very nice and helpful owner, would be great for kids. wonderful breakfast place(Baked in Maui) five minute walk. Bedrooms comfortable. Well equipped with beach equipment and recreational toys. Good wi-if coverage, TV. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Easy access and parking.
Disadvantages: we had an unusually hot, humid week with no breeze, which rarely happens in Maui. Main room is not air conditioned and was mostly too stuffy to use. Cell phone coverage was spotty.. sharing a single bathroom with more than two people occasionally a problem.

I would highly recommend Hale Roselani. It was a great space and had a well stocked kitchen. It was on a beautiful property and in a quiet neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay!
Hale Roselani was exactly what we were looking for our reunion trip to Maui. There was 3 couples meeting and some of us had not seen each other for a few years so we wanted a cozy place to relax, catch up, cook meals and still be able to be close enough to explore the island and go for dinner in Paia. Hakui is a beautiful neighbourhood and the Baked on Maui cafe nearby was a nice treat.
We didn’t end up meeting Ashley or Scott but they did leave a thoughtful gift basket for our arrival.
We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend booking it for your vacation!
We loved this house. It has everything you need, even toys which our toddler loved. They also have beach items (chairs, umbrella, etc) which was great to have. We loved the covered patio where we had breakfast every morning while it the rained. Ashley the host was very responsive and nice to deal with.
Location is good, tucked in in a dead end street. We walked to the breakfast place and Paia is a short drive away.
Only thing to point out: One of the bedrooms does not have AC. I think it says it there but I missed that as I assumed when it said AC under the specs it included all rooms. It was not a big deal but good to know.
Hale Roselani is an adorable house in the most beautiful place on Maui. Not far from anything on the island. The farthest we drove was 30 minutes and that was all the way to the west side of the island. There are a bunch of cool towns all around the house. It’s right on the Hana highway too if you’re interested in doing that! Jaws beach is right down the road if you wanted check out some monster waves. Paia and Makawao are about a 10 minute drive and both have a bunch of shopping and dining.
The huge deck is perfect for morning yoga and drinks in the afternoon.
There’s even a super cute dog who comes to visit!
Ashley was perfect and available if we ever needed anything. Very attentive.
Again, could not have asked for a better experience! Would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Ashley communicated reliably and patiently before our stay. Our 'home' was conscientiously childproofed, a basket of fresh fruit and wine welcomed us. The open layout was perfect with our 14 month old: the living space as well as the lanai. The house is private and quiet, very conveniently located near a coffee house and organic grocery store. Ashley and her family live across the street and are very friendly (without being intrusive) and responsive. Great stay.
Lovely and spacious house nestled in a quiet neighbourhood. Walking distance to a grocery store and fabulous breakfast place. Approximately 15 minutes drive in to Paia, where you have a wide selection of shops and restaurants. Turtle watching and beach is only 5 minutes from this property.
