Check in was smooth. Location was perfect for access to Baby Beach. The house was a little hot for a small child- so maybe not the best house for those with babies or very small children. The main rooms were cool, but the bedrooms were quite hot and stuffy for our 2 year old. There were some ants in the bedroom, even though we did not bring any food in there. Management very responsive to minor issues.Overall a nice stay, I would stay in the area, but probably somewhere with A/C until our kid is older.

Our family of 4 loved the house it was perfect size for us, the view was beautiful and so close to the beach. We walked over to shopping, the stores were close and there were so many restaurants nearby. The house was clean and the kitchen was well appointed. The dishwasher was leaking which we reported and maintenance did come, it leaked again though so hopefully that will get fixed soon. The furnishings were high quality and well taken care of. Overall, we were very satisfied!

This gem of a house is exactly as described and is a wonderful place to spend a vacation on Kauai. The design of the house is very well thought out. The fans and windows, especially in the cupola up top, work with the constant breeze to keep the house very comfortable during the day and at night. The location is perfect, with lots of stores and restaurants a quick walk away. Parking underneath the house is super easy and convenient. And the small troupe of sweet neighborhood cats that would visit now and then were the icing on the cake. We will absolutely stay here again.

What an amazing place. Perfect for our family of 4. Had everything we needed and only steps from the beach. Loved the fact kids could run up to house on their own to get something. House is exactly as described. The fans were perfect along with beach breeze and kept everything cool and relaxed! A truly magical experience.

Best equipped rental we have stayed at. Close to the beach. Everything is as advertised. It would be nice to know that you can park under building. Street parking is at a premium. It all worked for us.

Hale Malanai was a wonderful place to stay on Kauai! The home is exactly as we imagined it would be, with ample space to enjoy and a 15 second walk to the beach (good to run to catch the sunrise/sunset, or back if it sprinkles rain!). The house was stocked with absolutely everything you could imagine, and the beds were comfortable.We encountered some very minor maintenance issues but the property managers were prompt and professional to help.The only thing we wish we knew before hand were that there were multiple beach cats who hang out on the property. While very cute, we suffer from very bad cat allergies so it made it hard to enjoy the outside decks with them so close by consistently. Overall - a lovely stay!

We had a great stay at Hale Malanai. The location was perfect! Waking up to that ocean view was the best. Having no AC was not an issue at all, with all the windows open the breeze was lovely and kept the house cool all day and all night. We would definitely stay again on our next trip to Kauai.
Wow. This place was paradise!!! Truly the best Vrbo rental I have experienced. Interior was gorgeous, spacious, so comfortable. The lanai!!! Oh my goodness a wraparound lanai with a perfect view of the ocean. Hop over to the beach in 30 seconds. The little bed nook was our son’s heaven —he went there whenever he needed down time and loved it for reading and snoozing. The skylights and peaked ceilings—wow. The perfectly appointed kitchen. And the lovely personal touches, like Hawai-opoly board game that had us cracking up. We loved the kitties. Loved being able to walk to fine dining, grocery, shops—even while feeling tucked away from it all. We will be back! Thank you for an experience of a lifetime.

Great experience for our vacation at Hale Malanai. Great communication from host prior to arrival. Found the property in IMMACULATE condition when got there. Very clean and well appointed. Loved the keyless entry, one less thing to keep track of when going snorkeling. 5 minute walk to Lawai beach for snorkeling, 30 second walk (not kidding) to Baby Beach for great sunsets and lounging beach side. Really cool neighborhood feel you don't get staying at a condo complex.Can't wait to stay there again.
