Amazing views! Nice home. Didn’t have any issues with anything. They pretty much have everything you need. We loved our stay (one week). I would probably just get a new cleaning crew. I used to own a cleaning company and those showers just need a real good cleaner, windows and door rails also need a good cleaning but other than that no complains. Would definitely stay here again.

Love Hale Kai! Only problem is the gate...it can be very hard to get it open. As I am getting older I am having trouble with it!Also, there is no smoke detector. There is a plate on kitchen ceiling, but the detector is missing! I’ll keep coming back as long as I can get the gate open!🤪

This house is amazing and in an amazing location.Second time we come here and hopefully there will be a third. Absolutely loved it.
We LOVED our stay at this beach house. Location, location, location!! The views, the easy beach access, the privacy, the convenience of being close to Haleiwa and to a well-stocked grocery store in the other direction...And did I mention the absolutely stunning views from the kitchen, dining area, living room, and master bedroom?We even had visits on the beach by sea turtles and also could often see them swimming just off shore.The house itself was spacious enough for the 6 adults in our group, and while it may be lacking some modern updates it was very comfortable and well equipped. (Well stocked with kitchen utensils, etc. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water.) The lack of air conditioning was not an issue at all - between the ocean breezes and the many fans that were provided we were quite comfortable. The house is located on a quiet street off the main, busy road and we had no noise or safety concerns. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hale Kai! And did I mention the incredible views?

Home is beachfront a couple minutes north of Haleiwa. The beach it sits on is very private with very few other people except folks with homes on the same street which is what we like. The house is a bit dated but has a funky, old school charm - it was clean and provided all amenities we needed for our stay. We had a lot of fun here and was a great location to explore the rest of the north shore. We stayed for Halloween and trick or treated in Waialua and were blown away by how the whole neighborhood participated, kids and adults alike. We also spent time at three tables beach near sharks cove and Waimea beach. Good value for 5-6 people and the sunsets were some of the best we've witnessed.
Perfect location for your North Shore adventures, not on the busy road, show no road, noise and safe and secure.

I can’t even begin to list all of the beautiful memories our family made during our 2-week stay at Hale Kai. The house was clean, ideally located on a beautiful stretch of beach, private and comfortable. We highly recommend checking out all of the delicious pastries at PaaLaa Kai Bakery in Waialua, any burger at Seven Brother’s Burgers and breakfast bombers at Kono’s in Hale’iwa. For excursions, we highly recommend locally owned and operated Haleiwa’s Shark Tours and any extracurricular activity at Kualoa Ranch. We’ll be back! Mahalo!
Place was just like the pictures showed. Steps lead down to beach but it is rocky however just a few houses down either direction makes for good beach areas. Not crowded at all. We went in the water every day. Was so convenient. Not a lot of air flow in the 2 kids bedrooms but the master was good. Kids ended up sleeping in the living room and kept all their stuff in the bedrooms. Would stay here again.

The house was the perfect location to stay on the Notth shoreside . There were a few things not listed that I wish we would have known . The house does not have AC. It was very warm during the day and at night we had to sleep with all windows and door wide open . We also purchased more fans for the bedrooms and that help keep it cool in the evenings. There is access to get down by the water but it was completed blocked off and washed away after a couple of hours we cleared the steps and were able to get down to the water but there isn’t a beach right when you come down your steps a short walk down before you have beach access . Because of the windows and doors being open there were a lot of bugs . We had to makes sure no food was left out overnight or they would be all over the counter . The house has a perfect view on the ocean and we watched see turtles from the kitchen most of the time we were there . I don’t think we would stay again just because no ac was a deal breaker for my family .
My sons and partners enjoyed easy beach and surf access, cooking meals together, relaxing in the beautiful communal areas and yard. Lovely place!
