Wonderful location and plenty of room for our family.
The location is what makes this house worth it.However it’s smaller than expected and without outdoor private space…The timely and effective communication with the manager, was much appreciated.Our stay was very good, but I would not rent the same place again.
There is not a better location. View of the beach and a block walk. The outside of the building is dated but the inside is in awesome shape. It's in a safe place. The hosts here really communicate well, make everything simple. Little things like having oil and soy sauce in the kitchen were a big help. Also have beach chairs, towels, umbrella, etc. This is a thoughtful set up. We hope to stay again in this same property really soon!
Really comfortable unit with all facilities including cable tv and WiFi Sea view and a short walk to two great beaches One for body surfing small waves and one where the green sea turtles rest on the beach

I love the location of this rental a 2 minute walk to the beach. Cozy apartment could use better knives and silverware. The living room furniture really needs improvement but you can’t beat the location. Next time I may rent another unit with better furniture and more pleasant and comfortable accommodations. But the rental process was smooth. And the apartment served our needs just fine. We were happy with our stay.
Our stay was 6 days. The condo and decor were adorable and made us feel at home. The short walk to Poipu beach and park were the main reason for booking.
The cleaning prior to our stay could have been more detailed, but it didn't ruin our stay.
Definitely will book again.

This was a great place to stay while we were there. The two bedrooms worked well for our family. It's so close to both Brenneke and Poipu beaches and Brenneke bar and restaurant. Due to weather issues on the island, we were unable to eat at Brenneke's nor make use of the beach gear. We did see a few turtles on the beach, which was great for our daughter. Garden Island worked a lot with us on our overall stay and was able to get us to a different property when unexpected and very abnormal flooding occurred on the roads in the immediate area (there was over 3" rain in one night and was going to be over 2" a few days later, which would cause even more flooding). Thank you so much for the stay at this property!

We were not disappointed by the Hale Kahanalu rental. It was very clean, comfortable and quiet. It was less than 100 yards to Poipu beach so taking beach chairs, cooler and umbrella, (all provided), to the beach was super easy and we didn't have to worry about finding parking at the beach.

We had such a great trip, loved staying at this little apartment just steps away from the beach. Very organized, clean and had etxras that where great for the beach. Towels, lawn chairs ect.We will definitely be back.

Good spot for 2 adult friends. Love that it's steps from the beach. Bathroom had musty smell likely from dated materials but overall comfortable stay. Outdoor area near BBQ not a desireable place to relax and eat.
