Great location and beautiful view. Smaller than appeared online but gorgeous. Could use some decluttering with the faux plants and grandma's dishes filling the cabinets. Beds are wonderfully comfortable. Lots of extras with beach towels, gear, coolers, ect. Loved the shopping center close by. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets every night. Rocky beach for nice picnics right outside the door. Great tidepools with LOTS of sea urchins. Wouldn't have small children here. Perfect for our group of 4. I'd use the term "air conditioning" loosely. The livingroom unit didnt work, there were also electrical problems with the lights and fans in the main living space. Great check in book with lots of recommendations. Overall, we had a great time. Our biggest recommendation would be to address all the rude cardboard sloppy notes left all over the unit. Several sharpie cardboad notes left in every room telling you not to turn on a/c, dont use pullout sofa, fines if you touch this, ect. Very off putting for a beautiful space. Consider putting all these demands in your check in letter and not all over the condo.
Our stay was wonderful. We appreciated the details like having beach equipment and a cooler available and night lights in the condo. The well equipped kitchen and washer dryer really helped our family for the logistics of life. We loved the beach access for the kiddos to play in the sand (not a swimming beach) and watch sunsets. The location was perfect and access to groceries and restaurants as well island activities. Mahalo for a great stay!
FABULOUS!! I cannot say enough about this rental. The views were gorgeous especially the sunsets. The condo was well equipped with everything you need. We did not want for anything. Beach was a one minute walk and we pretty much had it to ourselves everyday. Hosts were awesome and replied quickly to any questions we had. Shopping plaza nearby with anything you could need available. Also close to town with shops and restaurants and only 20 minutes from the airport. We were able to pretty much explore the entire island on day trips. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property.
Great experience in an excellent location. The beach with snorkeling right outside provides lots of options close by, with racquet courts, pool, and bbq. The in-unit views and ocean wave sound scape added to the relaxation. Would recommend!
What a pleasure to be able to walk out of the condo and be on the beach and relax. Lots of beach paraphernalia comes with this rental. Very comfortable inside too. We really enjoyed our stay.

This area is truely wonderful. It about a ten minute walk to the best snorkeling and turtles ever. This property is also a reasonable walk to shopping and cafes that were excellent. This property has exceptional views and is perfectly set up and equipped for an excellent stay. I would highly recommend this property and would love to visit again.
We walked to a great snorkeling beach, the shopping center and played tennis on the grounds. The area is beautiful with all the tropical landscape.... oh and what incredible sunsets. Took a drive south to two step, a coffee plantation and black sands beach.... We will return.

This townhouse is located in an immaculately landscaped and maintained complex. The home is very tastefully decorated, well maintained and exceptionally well supplied. The shore is just a few steps from the back door and a sandy beach is just a few steps more. We would highly recommend this rental.
Property was clean and well appointed with everything we needed for our stay in Kona. The AC was nice to have when the weather was a little warmer. Access to the exclusive coastal area was also a nice bonus.

HOWEVER-after looking back at the VRBO listingâĻI donât feel it is well represented.
1. This is a 2 story condo in a complex that includes a large number of condos. Itâs pretty dense. Probably over 100 units.
2. This place is good for kids. That means there are a LOT of kids. If thatâs your thing-awesome. If not, be advised.
3. There is no smoking on this property-cool. But your neighbors can smoke & they are 5 feet away. Be advised.
4. This is not a sandy beach. Itâs a hard black lava, âbig islandâ beach and you will NOT want to walk barefoot. Snorkel at your own riskâĻ..
5. The view from the beach bedroom is fantastic and the sunsets are AMAZING. We slept w the window open to hear the surf.
6. There is a nearby shopping center including a grocery store that is convenient.
Would we return? Only if we were traveling with children.

The location of this property can't be beat. You are right on the ocean with a beautiful beach steps from the door. The condo is well decorated - like staying in a home instead of a rental. It was so peaceful and cozy we really hated to leave. Nancy was great about communicating with us. Highly recommend!!
This condo was clean and well equipped (nice and plentiful bath towels!). The location is beautiful, although not a swimming beach. Everything worked, including A/C as needed. We enjoyed having meals on the lanai. The complex is very quiet, which is what we had hoped for. The swimming pool is nothing special, no view and could use a refresh. The shopping center up the hill was convenient with a grocery store and good restaurants. The only suggestion I have would be to put thicker cushions on the lounge chairs. We enjoyed our stay!
Really enjoyed having the ocean right outside the window and being able to walk to the black sand beach maybe 100 feet to the south to watch schools of yellow tang fish feed in the surf. The unit, although small, had a well equipped kitchen. Could use bathroom fans. And although the in-room safe is a definite plus, the fact that it didnât lock and no one could figure out how to get it to do so while we were there was a drawback. All in all though the location makes this one a winner.
Extremely clean, comfortable, with amazing views. We highly recommend this property. The complex itself is very comfortable, and well kept. We will definitely stay again when the opportunity arises.

We were two couples and the rooms and bathrooms worked well.
Beds were comfortable and the air conditioning and overhead fans worked perfectly.
This was all of our first trip to the Big Island. It is definitely quiet and perfect for a couples retreat or catching up with friends of thirty years like we did.
Loved this townhome with plenty room for a family of five. We easily cooked meals and enjoyed the spectacular sunset on the small black rock beach in front of the unit. Easy access to Kailua Kona and all its offerings. The unit itself has been updated and tastefully decorated. Highly recommend.
Private and relaxing oceanfront unit in a well cared for resort. We spent many an hour just reading and relaxing on the lanai where all we could hear was the ocean waves and singing birds. The resort was decorated beautifully for the holidays which made it quite magical in the evening. Stargazing was wonderful as the location was not over lit at night. Parking was designated and convenient to the unit. Condo was well stocked with linens, kitchen was adequate to our needs.
