It was a beautiful home with everything we needed. Marsha was fantastic with her communication and hospitality.
Perfect little place in upcountry Maui. Close to Haleakala, Makawao, Pukalani and Paia. Also beaches of Wailea about 40 minutes away.
We had an amazing time in upcountry at the cottage. John and Marsha were lovely guests and I hope to come back again.
I am lost for words there was nothing but perfection with my stay. Maybe the only thing was I couldn't stop eating Marsha's daily treats her and John were a joy. I highly recommend their place.
Such a charming "home away from home" from which to see the entire island of Maui! While being away from the crowds, it was easy to access all the favorite destinations - Haleakala, the Road to Hana, Turtletown, and others!! Our host easy to communicate with and made us feel right at home!
Beautiful property. So comfortable. Gracious hosts. Would love to stay here again.

We had a great stay and enjoyed the cottage with modern bathroom, well equiped kitchen, large bed and own lanai. But best of all are Marsha and John. So many zhanks to your hospitality
We had an excellent time at the B&B in upcountry Maui! The location was amazing, as we were so close to all the lovely farms and gardens. The guesthouse was immaculately maintained with great amenities, and Marsha was so friendly and hospitable. Highly recommend!
Each stay has been an absolute dream. All the comforts of home and in the most beautiful of locations. John and Marsha are so sweet, as are the home baked goodies she makes…soo yummy! Thank you again for allowing us another wonderful vacation with you!
The hosts were fantastic. The "cottage" was very clean, very comfortable and they thought of everything you might need. The daily baked goods were spot on. The location is also fantastic if visiting the national park and wanting to be away from the crowds of beaches and resorts.
I really enjoyed my stay at G & S Upcountry. Helped with setting up the wedding. Visited with relatives that I have not seen in 50 years. And the wedding was just 6 minutes away from where I stayed. If I could stay longer, I would have! The daily pastries were a bonus during my stay! I enjoyed them with a cup of coffee to start my day! Thank you John and Marsha for being the best hostesses during my stay! I’m sure others will agree with me like many others in the past! Mahalo Nui Loa!

We had the best weekend stay with Marsha & John! Such a cozy, sweet cottage filled with all of the comforts of home, and more. Marsha helped get us acquainted with not only their beautiful grounds but also all of the popular activities and restaurants nearby. And her fresh fruits and homemade banana bread and croissants…mmmm! Honestly were without want for anything—had an absolutely amazing stay! Thanks Marsha & John!

We had a great stay at this wonderful cottage, away from the crowds but still easy to get to places. The morning baked goods were delicious and the fresh fruit was great! Marsha and John are great hosts.
We had a wonderful stay at G&Z. The accommodations are amazing. Our hosts Marcia & John think of everything visitors might want or need.Freshly baked goods are brought daily to the room. There is also an assortment of fresh fruit provided. We will definitely be back!
G&Z Upcountry bed & breakfast was the perfect upcountry stay for us! Beautiful property with many things to do close by! Marsha and John are the epitome of the perfect hosts! The baked goodies for breakfast each morning were delicious! We felt very welcomed and at home! Definitely will stay here again!
My husband and I stayed 5 nights and would definitely stay again. Marsha and John were wonderful hosts.
We had fresh bread/pastry every morning. We were also greeted with a bowl of fresh fruit on the table and the freshest cut pineapple in the refrigerator. We did not do any cooking since we got hooked at the food truck selection just 10 minutes away, however, the kitchen is well stocked.
We were away from the crowded streets and coasts but all were just a short drive away. If you are looking for a place to come back and relax after a day of adventure this is the place!
My partner and I had a great stay at this B&B! The hosts are friendly and their hospitality is great. Nice peaceful location and clean, large apartment with breakfast pastries every morning!

We were welcomed by the hosts when we arrived and offered help with our luggage, got a brief tour of the premises where we would be staying, and were in contact daily with the host in regards to anything needed. The host brought us lemon and blueberry bread for breakfast one morning, and croissants with strawberry preserves the next morning. I highly recommend staying here based on John and Marsha’s hospitality, friendliness, cleanliness, and location. The property is absolutely stunning!
