This place was just WOW! We have been to Kauai's north shore before, so we knew we'd love the area but had no idea how much we'd love Katherine's place. She was excellent to communicate with, promptly answering all our questions (and we had a lot). The location cannot be beat, and that million dollar view of the ocean overlooking the cliff smacks you in the face as soon as you walk inside. We loved the first floor location because we could just walk right outside onto the grassy grounds, and our kids played out there for hours. The unit is very well lit with tons of windows (esp in the kitchen) w/ screens and TWO patios. Cross breeze was excellent so no AC needed (even in July). The kitchen is fully equipped with absolutely everything you would need. We cooked all of our meals in, and we even used the communal grills, meeting several other guests at the time. Our very favorite part of The Cliffs community (besides the excellent amenities) was the festive atmosphere around sunset. There is no better place to watch sunset (at least in July), and everyone comes out to watch it together. It was really fun, and we made a point to be home for sunset each night. The pools are amazing, as is the pool house (they have a market and various other acitvities there on certain days of the week). We appreciated the water bottle filling stations around, providing cold water. Katherine's place was an incredibly special experience for us, making us fall in love with the area even more.
This property is just amazing. The location of this specific unit lets you see the sunset and steps away from star viewing. The unit was clean and kept up well. Staying at Cliffs club gives you access to to the bikes, pools, sports, and resort amenities you don’t get at other vrbos. 5 stars!
We come out yearly, this year one we brought our niece for her graduation and it was her first time. She loved our views from the condo and met a special chicken that she named Maui

This unit had the coveted view for the Cliffs resort! We thoroughly enjoyed being on the ground level as we could not only see the beautiful ocean but when we spotted whales we quickly went out to the chairs along the cliff with the binoculars to get a closer view. I didn’t realize at first that this condo was in a resort but after we arrived I learned of the many amenities. One we enjoyed was the Monday & Friday market where locals brought their merchandise to you along with fresh fruits, veggies, coconut milk, baked goods and a food cart with breakfast. There was also concierge services that were helpful as this was our first visit to the island. Another perk was I was happy to learn that there is a wellness team onsite and I booked a massage in my condo! It was a fun a relaxing vacation. If you love birds you will enjoy all the variety.
Couldn’t have pick a better place. We’ve been to Kauai several times and this one was by far the best stay. Communication with the owner was excellent and super helpful!
Beautiful spot and everything as promised
We were hoping to see the ocean as the vrbo described, and truly it was more wonderful than we even thought it would be. From our patio I saw whales jumping. And the albatross were soaring every day. The comfort of the vrbo was so nice. We definitely hope to come back.
The condo was on the first floor and as you look outside the back window, you see the ocean. Breakfast everyday on the lanai listening to the sound of waves crashing.The condo is very clean and well equipped. The owners were very quick to respond to any question we had.
This is our second time staying at this unit and the first thing we did was book it again for next year. Great view, clean l, well maintained. Easy access from the main floor. Quiet area with great view.
Liked: spacious, clean, updated unit with separate bedroom/ living space, unobstructed view of ocean, pool area, free happy hour Mondays Disliked: nene (goose) poop on lawn, tight suburbian neighborhood feel (trying to get away from that on vacation)

We had an amazing stay we loved every bit of the condo and the cliffs resort. The sunsets, walking trails, pools and hot tub were all amazing. Comfortable and private feeling. We had an amazing time thank you so much ❤️
It’s always great to be surprised on the upside! Condo was even better than advertised. View from the room over the grassy bluff (with 2-10 Nene birds) to the ocean beyond was spectacular. Definitely one of the two best buildings on the property. Front desk people were exceptionally friendly and owner was very responsive.

This was our second stay at this resort but in two different condos.
This condo was the perfect size for my husband and I and the ceiling fans kept us comfortable! For the most part, had everything we needed!
Appreciated having glass containers to put leftovers in, but would have been nice to have foil & oil supplied as we had to buy for some cooking.
The dryer was not working - would not tumble. We did notify the front desk. Our last two days, we found out the adult hot tub was not working - did report, but sadly nothing was done before our trip ended. Obviously, that is not the condo owners fault. Thanks for letting us stay - we loved the property! Everyone was very friendly!
Princeville, The Cliffs and Kaua’i is a beautiful area and we enjoyed it very much! We loved taking walks through the neighborhood, going to the One Kitchen Restaurant for a special dinner, doing a tubing adventure at what used to be a sugar cane plantation, experiencing a wonderful luau at Smiths, going to 2 beautiful botanical gardens; Allerton & McBryde and also driving to the Wailua Falls!! All in all we had a most wonderful getaway!!
I have stayed in this condo several times - it is my preferred location on the property and in Princeville because of ocean view and vast grassy area for children to run and play without annoying other guests.
I appreciate that children are welcome - as I have 5 great grandchildren in the area. I also appreciate there is a pool for kids so they are not a problem for other adult guests.
The unit is nicely furnished and appointed. Maintenance response when needed is prompt and courteous. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Other guest comforts and activities are appreciated.

Would have loved to completely open the sliding glass doors at night, but didn’t due to being on the first floor.
Sat out on the chairs by the cliff every night watching the stunning sunsets.

We absolutely loved having the ocean and cliffs right outside!! It was so nice to walk out every morning. And there were so many nene birds that were fun to watch. Great space and such a great location to get in town. Great host!! Would absolutely stay here again and we hope we get to!!
The condo is accurately described in the listing except that it's not clear that there's laundry in the unit, which was very handy.
The location is great and the condo is well equipped for vacationers.
A couple of days into our stay we realized that the extra bathroom sink faucet was loose and notified the owner. They had resort facilities come in to take care of it. The faucet was broken, but not leaking, so they removed it and it would take beyond our stay in the condo to get this fixed in spite of there being an Ace hardware store within a 10 minute drive from the condo. This was very inconvenient for us as our toddler was sleeping in the master bedroom and we tried to avoid going in there while they were sleeping.
Also, if you're traveling with kids, the on-site magnificent pool and good playground don't open until 10 am, which means you have to go somewhere else for morning entertainment for the kids, which likely have been up for hours by that point.
Our family including two young children had a great stay at this rental. The unit accommodated our family perfectly and was a great location for us to explore the rest of Kauai beyond the north shore. The unit was clean, well maintained and kitchen well stocked (however there were no spices or staples), beds were also comfortable. Beach chairs, a cooler and towels were provided and it was nice to have the resort pool available for kids to play in after a long day at the beach. I also made use of the small gym which was air conditioned. The owners responded promptly to our inquiries which I appreciated. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay and plan to return. The lovely ocean view with the geese and beautiful birds,takes you to another world of tranquility and peace.
Wonderful rental at the Cliffs resort. Unit was very clean and much more spacious than expected based on the pictures. The kitchen was perfectly equipped, beach cooler, chairs and other fun items for the kids. We could not get the DVD player to work but it didn't matter since the TV had Netflicks. The owner went above and beyond for us. Sending detailed information for a late check-in, suggestions of local points of interest and helping me retrieve a favorite necklace we left behind.
The resort was welcoming/helpful even for guests of a privately owned unit. Resort amenities (pool, puzzle/book library, tennis, pickle ball) and activities (Yoga, Lei making, Hula lessons, etc) were great. My kids did not want to leave the pool for the beach!
I hope to return sooner rather than later :)

We had problems with your outlets they sparked and caused my charging systems to short out so I was having difficulty charging my devices because when it shorted out it fried my cords and cubes .
