We had a wonderful time at the Aloha Kona Condos; the condo was very clean & comfortable with great walk in showers with a lanai that faced the beach! Walking distance to the beach & close to everything. Kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of towels & the beds were very comfortable. We will definitely return here for another vacation. Highly recommend it and Danielle was very nice & helpful too.
The beach across the street was excellent for snorkelling. The sunsets were amazing! Our host responded to our questions right away.The unit was very clean. Most of the time we felt like we had our own pool! I would definitely stay here again.
Loved it! The only concern I have is of the itemizations. Tax tax tax but it does not describe what the taxes represent. And the 400 service fee. What was that for, Vrbo fee? But the location and cleanliness were superb.
This is the place to be if you want to snorkel multiple days. It’s paradise and was absolutely perfect. We appreciated the kind and caring communication. AC was A!

We loved this house! Just seconds from great snorkeling beach. Perfect location to check out Kona and surrounding areas. Host was super accommodating!!
The sunset views are incredible! Beach front access to one of the best snorkeling beaches in America. The condo was fully equipped with everything we needed including snorkeling gear. Checking in was a bit of a challenge. Our code wasn’t working. The owner did answer right away and helped us with the process. Checking in instructions and a last minute “security deposit “ was confusing. Pool and hot tub were very nice! Would stay here again and again

Nice condo with a great area to stay and enjoy the beach and the sunsets.
Never received check in instructions so had to contact Danielle from the airport to get them. AC not working so my husband spent 2 hours on a sunday fixing it instead of enjoying vacation. Meanwhile, i called and texted Danielle multiple times and was ignored for over 24 hours. AC was the top reason for choosing this condo so very disheartening to not have it with no response. A day later we found out the washer wasnt working. Yet another majn reason for choosing the condo. Finally heard from Danielle and was told someone would come 2 days later to look at washer. Was told washer couldnt be fixed so had to buy extra beach and bath towels and had dirty clothes instead of clean going to next island. Place not super clean. Hair dryer didnt work. We are NOT complainers or hard to please but i woujd NOT recommend this condo. Was told communication was due to a new "system" but yet contact called me back at the airport?? Was given a small refund for hassle but was denied a reasonable refund for all of the hqssle. I just dont want anyone else to have same experience so renter beware!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It is truly right across the street from a great snorkeling spot. Within close proximity to other Kona sights. The condo was clean and well stocked with all you need including beach towels, chairs, snorkeling gear, and much more. Kitchen is well appointed with everything you need as well.
This condo was perfect & accurately described how it was across the street from a snorkeling beach... and lanai/pool looked out to the beach/ocean too. I also appreciated how quiet the area was, felt local & not touristry-even though many of us were most likely vacationing. Also, close distance to grocery, restaurants, etc. Bonus, the property aslo had plenty of beach towels, bodyboards & watersocks that we usedmore. I'd recommend & return in a heartbeat.
We loved being able to walk to the snorkeling beach in 2 minutes for fantastic fish, a turtle, and even a reef shark (who had no interest in the people— a very safe shark!). Parking was easy, laundry facilities in the unit, a very easy kitchen, comfortable beds, etc.

I stayed with my niece and her husband and daughter and my 35 yr old daughter. Thelocation was great, my daughter went snorkeling across the street nearly every day and sometimes twice a day.The pool was great to hang outrun and was perfect for a 5yer old who was learning to swim.The condo was well stocked with glassware, dishes, cooking utensils etc. Towels and sheets were of good quality.Having bech gear there and ready for us was a realm plus. It was a great trip for us.
We really enjoyed our stay. The pool was a huge hit and had an exceptional view of the ocean across the road. The suite was clean and comfortable and the check in/check out process was super simple.

Much to like about this property. Location is excellent: across the road from beach for snorkeling and swimming, not far from shopping center with grocery and drug store. But several miles into downtown. Area generally quiet despite being close to busy Ali'i Drive, Parking always available, but a squeeze for larger vehicles. Unit in prime corner location with nice view of pool and beach. Self closing screen entry door a pain if your arms are full. Unit was very clean on the inside. Plenty of large, high quality towels. Lots of hangers, but too much of closets taken up by owner's maintenance items or locked cabinetry. Beds had comfortable mattresses and climate-appropriate bedding. Plenty of kitchen towels, utensils, flat-wear, and dishes. Lots of functional beach gear in bin on patio - masks & snorkels, chairs, boogy boards - nice-size cooler, too. A few observations on the down-side. Exhaust fan in master ensuite roared like a semi-truck and would be an annoyance to the neighbors -- was only used during the daytime. No kitchen pantry or other dry storage -- all cupboards are full of kitchen ware. RO system at the kitchen sink did not work. Living room furniture is large and crowds the area, same with the patio table and chairs. The unit is smaller than made to appear in the on-line photos. Overall we were more than satisfied with this rental and would definitely return again.

We picked this property due to proximity to a beach we love. In fact, it is right across the street. Close to shopping and a short bike ride to the main Kona tourist areas. Great location, great property, would do it again.

We liked this place except for the usual quirks that baby boomers don't usually deal with like no key to the pool, changing the pool key to a lock box code without notification. A/C didn't work the last day.
Great beach access with beautiful area for snorkeling. Close to shopping and restaurants. 1.5 hours to Hilo for volcanoes and other fun activities. Able to swim with Manta Rays. We will be back!
Ground floor description is not accurate. There is a flight of stairs down to the unit. The ONE TV is not a smart TV and requires 3 remotes to operate. The thermostat is either controlled remotely or broken. It kept turning completely off and trying to reset itself. Messages to the owner/property manager about these issues went unanswered.
This property was amazing from start to finish. Comfortable and well stocked, it accommodated two adults and three teenage boys comfortably. We loved walking across the street for incredible snorkeling and the teens enjoyed taking the trolley into town. This property is close to many things but far enough away from crowds.that it is quiet. We would definitely return again and again.
This condo is located right on Alii drive across the street from a wonderful snorkeling spot. We were also pleasantly surprised at how quiet the condo is, given the multi-unit building and central location. The condo is well-kept, clean, beautifully designed, and well-appointed. We enjoyed the snorkel gear provided, sunsets on the beach or at the pool, and were able to easily make light meals in the well-appointed kitchen. The host was also very responsive when I had questions. Great place!
Location is fantastic, loved the beach gear provided. Beds were comfortable and towels plush. A/C worked great, as did everything else. We loved that the kitchen, toiletries, and household supplies were well stocked - an unexpected bonus.
Great location for snorklers across the street from some of the best snorkeling we found in Hawai'i. Place was nice - and great for those on the go - a small living room and made watching soccer tight for four adults but we enjoyed the outside seating - the pool and the quiet small condo community. Check in confusion was easily remedied by host via text - small but perfect for our needs.
