We rented a condo so we would be able to cook food and save some money but after seeing the condition of the cabinets and drawers we were immediately turned off !
The pots and pans old. Knifes not sharp. Dishwasher full of rust . Bed was worn out and leaning. Wouldn’t recommend staying in this unit

We had an issue as soon as we arrived. We saw a huge cockroach roaming around. It did put a damper on our stay. We found some dead bugs in the kitchen cabinets too. We also found the place a little dirty. The carpet was super stained. The entire place is very dated and did not feel well kempt.

Having three pools on the property is nice. Most times I was the only person at the pool. The ice maker quit but I wiggled it a bit and it started back up. I only saw 2 bugs inside the unit while I was there. The vertical blinds in the bedroom needed fixing and maintenance left me a note that they needed replacing but this was not done while I was there. Overall it was a pleasant, comfortable stay. The complex does not have a competent recycling system with conflicting directions in the trash areas and small receptacles for recycling with signs saying “leave nothing on the ground”.

The actual property is really pretty. The pools are great! Cold but nice. It feels far away from downtown Kona.
