The space inside and outdoors is great for families traveling with young children. We enjoyed the laid back atmosphere surrounded by sounds of nature. Looking forward to our next visit.
Clear communication, easy to find, great location for Hilo activities as well as Volcanoes National Park. Jeff greeted us and was available for any questions we had.Really felt like home with the amenities, so very comfortable! It's a beautiful secluded, property with excellent hosts. The Guest House has everything you may need or may have forgotten to pack. All of the kitchen, bathroom and outdoor items you need for your routine!Very convenient and feels like a temporary home!
This was a great place to stay. Guest house was very clean and a perfect size for two people. Their property is beautiful and very peaceful. The owners thought of everything. We really appreciated that we didn’t have to buy bottled water.
Beautiful, tranquil, peaceful. I was able to get a lot of writing done. Great sunrise and landscaped grounds. Efficient, comfortable bedroom, living area, lanai, bathroom. Well-equiped kitchen. Great location for artist. One level directly out to lawn, trellis, and pond. Native and fruit trees.
We really enjoyed our stay. Very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The owners were so welcoming and they even gave us a dozen of their chickens fresh eggs!

Very welcoming stay, gave us privacy and clear instructions, very clean and good water pressure. The gate and couple made me feel safe and secure while traveling as young woman. Would 100% stay again. Located close to the volcanos and black sand beach.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay here! The guest house is ideally located just minutes from Volcanoes National Park, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The setting is peaceful, beautiful, and immaculately maintained—with gorgeous landscaping that invites you to slow down and take it all in.The house itself was spotless, private, and extremely comfortable. You can really feel how much thought, care, and love went into every detail—from the tasteful decor to the thoughtful little touches that made us feel so welcome. It’s clear the hosts have poured their hearts into this place.Speaking of the hosts, they were incredibly kind and gracious. Their warmth made the experience even more special. Our kids especially loved meeting the sweet little chicks and strolling through the garden—it was one of their favorite parts of the trip!This was one of the most peaceful and well-cared-for places we’ve ever stayed. We wholeheartedly recommend it!

This guest house was all we had hoped it would be from the photos - nice interior decor with a lovely lanai (porch), surrounded by green beauty. Amenities were all there with some nice extra touches, hosts were friendly and helpful. We left refreshed after our two nights and would love to visit again.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Jennifer's property as it was a secluded retreat that was still conveniently located near Hilo and Volcanoes National Park. We had two adults and two kids and the studio with kitchenette worked well for our purposes. It is also noted the kitchenette also was incredibly well stocked with every condiment/spice you could think of. The hot plate and toaster oven were both very helpful for basic meals at home. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed looking at the koi and chickens. No A/C but the fans and evening breezes made it comfortable for us. The hosts were very communicative and even gave us a heads up that an eruption was occurring. Probably theoat clear check in and check out instructions of any short term rental I've been too as well. Would definitely stay here again!
We absolutely loved the property - it was a peaceful, tropical retreat. The guest house was super clean and very well provisioned and the grounds were beautifully landscaped. There were pineapples, papayas, plumeria, orchids and so much more. It was so relaxing to sit on the lanai in the evening with a cool drink and listen to the sounds of the tree frogs and the burbling of the koi pond.
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It had everything we needed and was one of the neatest and cutest guest houses I’ve ever stayed in. The garden was beautiful—I especially loved having my morning coffee next to the koi pond. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely recommend it!

Returned for a second time to this beautiful property for a quick baby moon with my husband. I was just as pleased as I was during my first time here on a girls trip with my mom and sister. The property was clean, well equipped, and serene. It’s off the beaten path but private and relaxing. The hosts truly have thought of it all and we definitely recommend their rental.
We had a great stay at this guest house. The location was quiet and relaxing in the country (so much better than staying in town in Hilo), and it was near enough to the Volcano National Park which made for a great drive. The hosts are available if needed. It's a beautiful property with nicely landscaped grounds. The guest house is lovely, well maintained and very clean. It's highly recommended to stay here!

Aloha,This is a wonderful property to experiance. Jeff and Jennifer thought of everything we would need to complete our stay. The guest house was charming and very clean. The property was very nicely landscaped too. we enjoyed sitting on the lanai and listening to the birds and frogs.The only thing that I should mention is that there is a very large chicken coop near the guest house. The roosters woke my husband up at 4:00 a.m. So, brings some ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. Otherwise, I loved this place and would stay there again!Mahalo,April and Ray B.

Comfortable accommodations along with immaculate landscaping makes this home away from home one should not pass up. This far exceeded our expectations and is a best value. The hosts Jeff and Jennifer were very attentive to our needs and made sure we weren't wanting of anything. Again great hosts.- you won't regret booking your next stay here!!!
We stayed here a few nights during Hilo side of the trip. Really great property that felt secluded but still close to food and grocery options. The property owners were very friendly and helpful with local recommendations for us. We would stay here again.
Great little place tucked away from the busier Hilo area. Probably a bit better suited for 4 than 5 given the overall size and having to use an air mattress. Owners were nice and let my kids feed the koi, which was exciting for them.
