When on vacation, it is great to feel a bit spoiled. This house fit the bill. Loved that because of the layouteveryone had privacy & space of their own when wanted, but also could enjoy gathering in the comfortable communal areas.Easy access to every activity that we wanted. Loved starting and ending the day on the porch with its gorgeous view and peaceful feel.
We greatly enjoyed our stay! Within biking and walking distance to the shops. All the beach gear we needed and more! Enjoyed the indoor and outdoor seating for meals and game nights! Overall would definitely book again!
The house has a perfect layout for families with ample seating and a beautiful lanai. For those that want it, the air conditioning is great. Proximity to the grocery store, favorite beaches and farm markets is super convenient. Supplied beach chairs and boogie boards saved us additioonal rental fees. Some baby gear on site was helpful plus the recommendation for Babilicious to rent everything else we needed made it so that we could pack lighter and have the 'nice to have' items for the two under two that we were traveling with. Having a couple of empty cupboards to put groceries away in would be great. Some serving bowls would also be great. Would recommend that the owners evaluate what is in the kitchen cupboards, get rid of the non-functioning items and reorganize so that the guests don't ave to keep all of the groceries on the counters.Overall we loved the property and highly recommend it! Jeff & Shana were responsive and very helpful.
My family and I had the most amazing stay here for the holidays. It was our first time in Kauai and we had everything we needed to feel at home to enjoy the space, views, and location. Foodland is just a couple of minutes of walking away, perfectly convenient for cooking meals at home. If I were to provide any suggestions, it would be nice to have more than 1 roll of paper towel for our 1 week stay, and the hairdryer in the guest bathroom seems like it needs to be replaced. Otherwise, would highly recommend this home—would return next time we are on the island!
Beautiful area beautiful house.Quiet friendly neighborhood. accommodating for 8 adults both inside and on porch. Loved having the beach gear. Within walking to stores and restaurants. Short drive to many different beaches. Would stay there again. Thanks for sharing.
Upon arrival we discovered the cable TV was not working. We called and Zack came out the next day and the cable box was replaced. Later we found that the oven was not functioning, but this time they were unable to get it working so we had to do without it for the rest of our stay.
Still, we had a good stay and overall it is a great house
Kauai was my husband's favorite vacation destination. His sisters, adult children and I stayed to share memories, tears, hugs and make new experiences.
We didnt have an oven for 1/2 of the week which turned out badly as we had food to cook. We had to throw a lot of food out. The maintenance man came out and said to just flip the breaker everytime we used it. The oven would work 1 time and then not. I hope we could get reimbursed a bit to make up for the food please. The washer in the house when full of towels or clothes moved across the floor, very loud. The maintenance man put in 1 towel and said it was fine. We had more than 1 towel. It really needs balancing. Our family enjoyed the house other than those things mentioned. Beautiful home, neighborhood and Island. We cleaned up as mentioned in the book. Thank you for the stay. Hope to be back in Kaui again in the future.Thank you for the accessories in the garage, we added goggles to the items. Let me know about the food ok? Thank you Linda Strickland and family
Beautiful property. Safe neighborhood. Lots of extras. Well worth renting...we had 6 people. Lots of space.
A vacation with all the comforts of home and more! Family dinners around the 8seat table inside or out on the lanai made for great convo recapping our surfing adventures of the day!
Everything was so clean and well stocked!
We especially loved the room off the garage for our teenage boys! And the 2 sets of washer/dryers came in clutch!
AC blows cold but we really didn’t need it!
All this with breathtaking Mountain Views! No doubt, we will certainly return!

Loved the lanai, quiet area. To bad road past Hanalei was still closed for rebuilding...
