Home was everything we wanted and more! We have 5 adult/teen kids so the 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms was a perfect layout for our group size while having the resort amenities like a pool and hot tub and even an adults only pool and hot tub area for a great place to decompress after a long day of adventures on Kauai!The home was exactly as described with a fully stocked kitchen. We loved that even the large sectional in the family room and the outdoor dining table on the lanai accommodated our large group! Home was clean with starters, like toilet paper, paper towels, dish tabs and laundry detergent to get us going before we had a chance to do a grocery run upon arrival. That was a nice surprise!The location on the quieter remote side of the island was ideal as we were doing mostly the northern beaches as they are calmer in the Summer. Loved the sunrise and sunset from the top of cliffs right from the lanai...the pictures online don't do it justice!! Also having a multitude of outdoor seating and picnic tables and a grilling area to enjoy the ocean views was an added perk! I am not sure we would want to stay anywhere else when visiting Kauai! Will definitely be booking again!
The view from the kitchen and lanai are as promised. It is a peaceful and beautiful location. While the description and clear communication about the AC situation was honest, it is still quite hot even w cross door ventilation and fans. You can’t leave screen doors open on either first or second level if you are concerned about safety at night and both bedrooms with a king bed are located on the parking lot side which is unfortunate. It’s also very confusing trying to communicate with Vacasa vs the property company. Lots of talk to ‘them’ when trying to coordinate check out time extension and other details. We did appreciate the extra towels and check in gift plus starter on laundry and dishwasher soap etc. For families thinking about two cars - which we nearly did rent but ended up sticking w one- the parking would have been challenging as The Cliffs lot was packed at night.
Our door was propped open with the door stop when we arrived. The following day, we were locked out. The number code and key cards didn't work and neither did the key we got from the reception desk. Luckily, a rep from the rental agency came by and gave us the lockbox code and we used that key for the rest of our stay. We got a notice about insect spraying. We did see a cockroach on the kitchen counter. We left the condo as requested and when we returned the sliding glass door was wide open with a fan running. We assumed the pest control people had opened the door. They did not leave a note or business card. Is it typical to have a rental treated while it is being occupied? We thought it was odd. Everything else was good. Parking was difficult at times but we managed.
The grounds were beautiful, pool, bike rental, activities provided were great. The condo needs some maintenance. No A/C but ceiling and floor fans were in every room - however they were filthy which caused a lot of breathing problems. The refrigerator doesn’t work very well so we lost food in the freezer - after multiple communications of “we’ll address the issues” nothing materialized. The offer to replace the food hasn’t materialized either. It’s a lovely place - but this condo needs deep cleaning.
It felt spacious, as we had 8 adult women, with the exception of the beds. It was exactly as advertised, with two kings and two queens, but the queens were in very large bedrooms and were not comfortable for the people sharing unfortunately. I bet if kings were in all the rooms they would be able to charge even more for this great condo.
Very responsive staff to a small issue with overhead fan not being able to turn off. Somehow we missed the memo that the outside ground floor king bedroom Lanai had a cabinet that had an amazing array of beach equipment..we had been renting the same equipment from the front desk all week. Perhaps an extra note on the coffee table upon arrival would highlight the storage closet? We LOVED that we had laundry!
We loved the pizza food truck that parked twice a week in front of the rec/room pool area! We also were able to join a Mai Tai and pupu appetizer reception in the rec room one night that was a nice touch. Loved the lending library and I found a sequel to a book I read on vacation!! We absolutely LOVED the pool and hottubs. Better than we expected!
A couple of tiny things that I might remedy if I was the owner, but didn't ruin our stay: there is no toaster, the dishwasher is not fully bolted into the cabinet around it so it's kinda janky (it works tho!), the ice maker barely works (so we purchased ice all week).
Overall, I would totally stay here again with family, and put kids in the uncomfortable queen beds (kings were great!)

Beautiful location in Princeville! The Cliffs is a fantastic little resort with beautiful, relaxing pools and an adults only hot tub tucked in the back.
The condo itself has great views out to the back lawn and out over the cliffs to the ocean. The two queen rooms downstairs share a patio out to the lawn. Kitchen is small but functional but can not handle more than two people at a time. Upstairs deck was the best part!
Great place. Large bedrooms. Great space outside with beautiful views.
Community was perfect, pools incredible, loved the food trucks!
Condo was wonderful for our family size. Views were amazing! Ac would have been the only thing that would have made the condo perfect. Rooms were hot and stuffy at night. Some doors did not lock at all as well. For a main level condo, made us concerned about security.
Our family had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful condo for a week! The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well appointed and the views off the lanai were spectacular! We will rent it again next time we visit Kauai.

The condo was in a great location for North Shore exploration being very close to many restaurants and beaches. It was ver spacious with wonderful ocean view that we enjoyed each morning. The kitchen was well appointed and little welcome snacks were nice. We loved all the condo resort amenities especially pool and pickleball court. Parking was a bit inconvenient as you would have to park far from unit if you got in late. I feel each unit should have at least one assigned spot near their unit. The only big issue I had with this condo was management. We had issues with downstairs tub being clogged as well as slow drawing sink and disposal not working. I contacted Vacasa next morning and maintenance called and said they’d be over. When I got home nithing seemed fixed so I contacted Vacasa again and supposedly maintenance came but if he did he didn’t fix anything. At this point 3 of the girls in my group leaving so asking maintenance again seemed waste of time. Nevertheless I just knocked off one star as my group was inconvenienced with one less shower but we still had great time.
We loved this property! It was very spacious and fit us all perfectly. The location was amazing and the view from the condo was incredible. Even better than we imagined.
Nice view. House cleaning was inadequate. Condo condition is not very good.
