It was an excellent property. It was all that we could hope for other than less wind! The beach was nice the water was typical Hawaii better wear water shoes! The location was located near anything we needed easily within 10-15 minute drive! Great location from the airport 20 minutes or so! The property is very lovely, clean, well maintained and supplied with vacation necessities!

This home was our family’s base for a week of fun on Maui. The outdoor areas, deck and lanai, were wonderful places to sit and visit. The kitchen was large enough for 8 adults to move around as needed and the LR had enough seating also. The bedrooms were ample with lots of hangers in the closet to hang up clothes. The bathrooms were large with plenty of towels. I really enjoyed seeing the turtles come up on the beach each night and some were left there in the morning for me to watch return to the ocean. There were so many wonderful places to eat within walking distance. I highly recommend this house for a great getaway when on Maui.
Beautiful view. Appreciated the many beach chairs/umbrellas. Kitchen not as well-stocked as I had hoped. Air conditioning worked well. Large, comfortable home/ beds. Master shower is tiny. Bedroom furniture is old. The large grass area in back of home is public property. I assumed it was the property’s backyard. It’s a nature reserve- it’s lovely, but open to public. The description of the “sea wall” on the back of the property is ambiguous. It is a short wall around the outside patio/dining table. Can’t really see the ocean well sitting at the outside back table. Our first day there a group of men on bikes were hanging out in the back grass area under one of the trees drinking a lot of beer/playing music and blocking the path to the beach. Not too peaceful. At dusk, 15-20 sea turtles swim ashore to sleep. It’s a majestic sight to see as the sun sets.
Easy walk to good food and shopping. Beach front with expansive lawn and beautiful trees. House is comfortable with great AC and well equipped. Best part are the 10-20 turtles who appeared each nite after sunset to rest on the beach. Cordial prompt communication with management. Nice artwork in house and lots of bird watching. Grandkids had a great time.

Celebrating my husband’s retirement with our grown children and significant others. This was a perfect place for us. The house is beautiful, the yard, the beach, the location. All 9 adults were very happy to be here!

The property is beautiful. We had a family gathering of kids and grandkids. The space fit our family’s needs well. There is a large grass area between the house and beach. You can play volleyball, bags, and croquet. The beach was a minute walk from the house. The Maui sunsets were spectacular. Not a good swimming beach but a wonderful beach for exploring and watching the sea turtles come out and rest on the rocky sand.
We were a multigenerational family with ages from 5 to 76 spending quality time together from 2 different parts of Canada. The house more than adequately suited our needs..the lanai was great for dinners, the yard was great for games, the beach was great for watching beautiful sunsets. Our host, Brian, was most accommodating and responded to our needs quickly. I would not hesitate to recommend this house for your family gathering…you will not regret it. Thank you, Brian, for sharing your lovely home with us..it was truly memorable!
Our extended family of eight didn’t want to leave this beautiful home! It had everything we needed & more. We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen, the provided beach towels/chairs/toys, the patio area that was perfect for playing cards at night & the tranquility of a quiet street. Like many others have mentioned, watching the sea turtles come to shore each evening was a highlight! Brian was quick to respond to any questions & is an excellent host. Would highly recommend this property.
Wonderful property! Perfect location, beautiful beach, plenty of room. Brian was a wonderful host, always quick to respond and very helpful! We also enjoyed a well equipped kitchen and details like extra plug ins and full length mirrors in the bedrooms. Loved seeing the turtles at night.

This house was absolutely perfect for our family. We had 10 people staying and we all fit very comfortably. The beds were nice, they have ac units in all of the rooms which was great for our family with different temperature needs. The yard was so much fun for our toddlers to run and play in and the beach is a very short walk away. We all really enjoyed relaxing at the house. We needed a pack and play for our toddler and a newborn and while we brought one we also depended on the one available at the house and found out it was a mini crib which worked out ok for us with a 3 month old but would not if it were a bigger kid. We had everything we needed and it was clean and comfortable! Would absolutely stay here again.
The location is absolutely beautiful. Every night had the most amazing sunsets and all the turtles made it that much more amazing. There were plenty of beach chairs and toys for us to use. The house was very comfortable for 10 of us to fit and being close to shops and restaurants was a plus if anyone wanted to get out and explore. Brian was very helpful and accommodating. We have already talked about coming back for another visit. I would highly recommend this location.

What an amazing property, right on the beach, beautiful views with spectacular sunsets, the sound of the waves and a delightful ocean breeze! We found the home in great condition with comfortable casual furnishings that made us feel right at home. All the right amenities were there, including a fully equipped kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining spaces for our family, a grassy yard to play games in, abundant wildlife (native birds, sea turtles on the beach every night), and a short walk to a swim beach just to the north. Brian was so easy to work with and responsive when we had questions before and during our stay. Could not ask for better, more engaged hosts! We loved our time here!!
If I could give more stars I would! This was honestly the most amazing family vacation we have ever experienced, and can’t wait to book again! In fact, it was so great we wanted to extend our trip, but due to airline issues we weren’t able to.
We brought our 6 kids ranging in ages 5-20, and my elderly parents. The house was absolutely perfect for all of us in our own way. The lanai was amazing for my elderly parents who wanted to be near the beach but have a hard time talking. The sunsets were exquisite, and with the tables up there and chairs we could eat watching the sunset with my mom who couldn’t go up or down the stairs due to her health. The kids had all the outdoor toys, beach toys, and even inside games To make us all happy. The house was fully stocked and felt like home. We truly can’t say enough amazing things about this home.
The host was absolutely incredible, so hospitable and answered any question or concern we had quickly, kindly, and I wish I just got to hug them in person! They felt truly like ohana, family, and that was just through the limited communication we had as needed. They were amazing, and we are so grateful! And send all our love and thanks to them for sharing their incredible home with us for our time there, and just for their care, and kindness, especially with our special needs we had during our visit.
The beach was absolutely like a dream. Crystal clear water, and turtles every night! It’s just a quick stroll down the path.

The house had an ideal location close to the main roads with restaurants, grocery stores, etc. as well as an excellent spot on the beach that was not busy at all. Tons of yard space and games to entertain whole family and best bonus was watching the turtles bask in sun or swim in at dusk. Would highly recommend for families with children
I recently stayed at this beautiful vacation rental in Maui, and it was an incredible experience. The rental was located just a short walk from the beach, providing stunning ocean views and easy access to the sand and surf. Make sure to head to the beach to watch the sea turtles come in at sunset and go back to the ocean at sunrise. We loved watching them! The property itself was immaculate, with modern amenities and a spacious layout that made it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing us to prepare our own meals, and the living areas were comfortable. The AC is a huge plus! The hosts were extremely hospitable. Overall, this Maui vacation rental exceeded our expectations and provided a perfect base for exploring the island. Highly recommended!
This place suited our needs and wants perfectly. Outdoor and Indoor eating areas. Lawn area to play, fly a kite and easy, quick access to the beach. Walking distance from some good restaurants and essential shopping.
Recommend for a family gathering
The house was on a delightful piece of property, overlooking the ocean. The beautiful back lawn was perfect for our group, whether it be a game to play or the chairs for relaxing and watching the sun set. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to put our meals together. It was clean and we were very comfortable, even with 9 people filling up the house!
House size was great! Kitchen was well stocked with everything that was needed. Yard space was nice. The outside area was great area with a grill and a large table where we ate.
Little disappointed in the beach area. There was no beach area to sit by the water. It was a steep incline so not easy for a chair to sit by the water. However, it was neat to watch the turtles come up at sundown to sleep and watch swim in the water.
At the end of our stay we were packing up to leave and we borrowed the cooler to take our refig food to a family member who was also vacationing on the island and have one last picnic on the island for a few hours homeowner got really mad. Cooler was returned before the housekeeper left. Housekeeper was there when we left and we packed up 3 grocery bags of dry food for them as a courtesy. Even cleaned up a bit so they would not have much to do. An hour later the homeowner sent me a mean text accusing us of smoking in the house! Which we did NOT! I live in a smoke free home and I would never allow that! I am very sensitive to smoke so I would have know if someone did smoke in it. We did vacation with some smokers and they ALWAYS smoked outside! What a way to end a dream vacation!!

This property was just as listed and even better! Great communication with our host Brian, great location to access community and restaurants and even greater natural environment! One night we counted 36 turtles on the beach...mornings on the deck were glorious. The house is stocked with more than we expected and plenty of room for all of us. We couldn't have picked a better place.
If you want to see turtles and beautiful sunsets this is the place for you!
Our stay was filled with mornings drinking coffee on the beach as our toddlers played and sunsets with our entire family watching the turtles come up to sleep. The owner was incredibly helpful when we had questions. We had a wonderful time filled with timeless memories.
Brian was exceptionally helpful from the get go. The house was perfect for our extended family and had all the amenities we needed for wonderful days at the beach. The kitchen was well appointed and clean, with plenty of plates, utensils, and cooking gadgets.
The outdoor space was perfect for our little ones to run and play. There was even a little kiddie pool, ideal for after-beach splashing.
We enjoyed the lanai every day for cards games, lunch, dinner, and gathering.
It was a great location to nearby Kihei shops, restaurants, souvenir markets, and Kalama park for the kids.
Sunsets were magical with the onshore arrival of sea turtles each evening. We sat in wonder as their heads popped up and the waves carried them onto the sand. The most we counted was 19 one night. It was lovely if we rose early for morning walks and found some still lingering before heading out to the ocean for the day.
