Absolutely loved this property. The view was spectacular, along with the furnishings. It was heaven to sit on the lanai each evening for “sunset hour” as we called it, and feel like we were floating on the waves. I would love to stay here again! For parents of young children who want to spend a lot of time at the pool, however, I would make sure to read through pool rules before booking to make sure that you’re ok with the limitations of pool play at this property.

My husband and I brought our two teenagers to Hawaii for the first time and this place was an excellent home base for us. The condo is well stocked with everything I needed to cook most meals at home. The lanai that overlooks the ocean was always full of surfers and I loved watching them. We watched the sunset from the lanai each day. The beach umbrella and beach chairs that were supplied were so nice! Lovely place!
My older teens and I had a wonderful time. The view is amazing. We watched the surfers each morning/night and spinner dolphins even appeared our last day. The unit is well stocked across the board - fully functional kitchen, everything for beach days (chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and small ice chest), family games, books, paper goods and plenty of cleaning supplies. It’s a short drive into Kona if you’d rather eat out. Owner was responsive to questions. Overall a great place to stay!

Everything was as advertised. The location is perfect. We loved the pool and hot tub after the day at the beach. Waking up to watch the surfers was fun. The sunsets were beautiful!
What a gorgeous place with magnificent ocean views.The beds were wonderful, beautiful artwork, and comfortable furniture. Since we are older, the elevator was a pleasant experience. Sitting on the lanai while watching the surfers, turtles, fish, spinner dolphins, and whales was a daily routine ….simply paradise!!!
We were in Kona for the Ironman (October) and chose this location and apartment as it catered for our needs of double bed and two singles (party of four).
The location was ideal for training and getting into Kona for shops, food and relaxing. It's a 5min drive into Kona town or a 40 minute direct walk down Ali'i Drive.
Highlight has to be the ocean views, waking up to the sound of waves and enjoying breakfast on the balcony watching the early morning surfers & dolphins swimming by.
In the evening the sunsets were truly breathtaking from the balcony.
The apartment itself was clean and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a stay in Kona, from snorkels to well stocked kitchen cupboards. Everything was provided for.
Dana fully informed us of all aspects of the apartment & facilities (inc pool & hot tub). As we had a hire car, the apartment allocated parking spot was an added benefit.
The complex as a whole was kept very clean and we regularly saw the attendant servicing the pool and outdoor communal areas.
Nearby there is a fresh fruit market, places to eat and public beaches, all within a 5 minute walk. The hop-on hop-off bus stop is very nearby too.

Literally just steps from the ocean! The lanai overlooks the ocean, and it was fun watching the surfers and the beautiful sunsets! The condo was very clean, and our host was very kind, giving clear instructions. Very happy we chose this condo based upon it’s location!!!
This property was great. It was just as described and shown in the photos. My wife and I stayed here on our first trip to Hawaii (Big Island). The property was right on the water where we had spectacular views to include daily surfers, crashing waves, and beautiful sunsets. We had all the amenities needed to make our stay comfortable. This was definitely a great "home base" as we explored the Big Island during our 10-day trip.
The communication with the owner was flawless. We received all the information we needed concerning the property in a timely manner and had no need to contact her with any concerns during our stay. I would highly recommend this property if you are planning a trip/stay in the Kona area.
The property is nice and accurately described. The location is ideal for being on the ocean. The only downside of the stay was lack of a working AC unit. However, our host Dana, was very responsive and quickly contacted an AC technician.
This two bedroom is a great place to have as a base for exploring the Big Island. From morning coffee to evening sunsets the oceanfront location was endlessly beautiful. Condo comes fully equipped with beach gear, kitchen equipment ,and a good location In Kailua. Enjoyed the artwork as well!
This location is literally right on the water. The pictures don't do enough. If you want to open up the door and hear the ocean this is the place. The property manager is super amazing and communicative. Before checking in she sends your correspondence on check in process and notes to ensure you stay will be a good one. The cleanlyness of the place was A++. When we walked in it was spotless. Amenities are great, 4 beach chairs, 2 boogie boards, and small cooler for beach fun. We enjoyed family time in the large living room space and watched movies on the smart tv. Internet is super easy and fast. If we returned to the Island of Hawaii I would totally rebook this location. A++++ 5***** rating!
I vacation here with my teenagers and adult daughter. We had two bedrooms two bath and a fully equipped kitchen. We had plenty of private space, and room for our luggage. The apartment was equipped with everything you need for a wonderful vacation. We had boogie boards, snorkeling, gear towels for beach. We had full kitchen with everything you need in it. Airport Drive is around 30 minutes not bad, and all major attractions are an easy reach. The condo Building was pristinly maintained, we had a pool, nice and clean a Jacuzzi, that my teenagers love to use, and it was really nice and clean. We felt very safe, we had a combination that let us go up to the condo with the elevator. It was quiet and the sound of the waves, how does go to sleep. I love staying out on the balcony to drink my coffee in the morning. The only minor inconvenience was the narrow space in the parking, it is inconvenience. If you have a large car like I did so I strongly recommend to rent a smaller vehicle. Parking is always difficult in Hawaii everywhere you go. But I cannot tell you how happy I was that I rented the space.

This property was perfect for us. Morning coffee on the lanai watching the surfers hit the waves and evenings watching the sunset. A few miles out of the downtown Kona area making it quiet and peaceful.
The property was clean with adequate garage parking.

We had a wonderful stay! The condo is comfortable, clean, well stocked and close to the Kona beaches and downtown. We loved sitting on the lanai with our coffee in the morning watching the surfers and the occasional cruise ship arriving. The host is very responsive. Thank you Dana for everything

We had a great week in Kona at this property. Great communication/instructions on check in process. Condo is close to everything & has covered parking. Beautiful views out all the windows. Our favorite pastime became watching the surfers/boogey boarders. Gorgeous sunsets!
Everything in the kitchen you could ever need. Having a washer/dryer was also great. Thanks Dana-we will definitely stay again if we get back to Kona.

I remember being on a cruise ship and looking out the port window and only seeing ocean. Well that's what you get staying hear. Back wall is predominately all glass. The views were spectacular and cannot be any closer to the ocean. Condo unit was clean and is actually a 2 BR unit. Pool and Hot tub where well maintained. Host was awesome to work with and extremely attentive to my needs. I can't wait to return and rent again.

My sweetie and I could not believe the view of the ocean. Incredible! Each morning we would have breakfast on the lanai, and watch the surfers if there were waves worthy of their time. We brought binoculars and spotted dolphin a couple of times, and whales! Great location! Da Poke Shack is a 5 minute walk away. Very convenient, just south of Kona downtown.
Our family of 4 very much enjoyed our stay. Check in/out was easy. Our 2 children enjoyed having their own beds and watching the fish in the water from the Lanai. We loved watching the sunrise on the Lanai too. There were beach chairs, boogie boards, an umbrella and lunch cooler for use which made beach days a blast! We found the beds comfortable and the breeze from the front door helped keep the temperature perfect for us. It was very clean and perfect for our family :-) Mahalo!
