Excellent location. Kind of messy in kitchen. Otherwise it was a wonderful stay.
Beautiful view and a very well-equipped apartment, but the neighbors upstairs were very loud, which was quite disturbing at night. A pity — otherwise, it would have been a perfect location.
The condo is very nice and spacious and has an incredible view. The management team was very helpful with questions we had. We would stay there again.
We have made multiple trips to Princeville over the years and have always stayed in building 5 at Alii Kai in Princeville. This trip was our first time staying in this particular unit, and we have decided it is our new favorite! All of the units in building 5 have spectacular views. Our preference is the be on the ground floor so we can walk straight out onto our lanai and also to the adirondack chairs on the grass. Compared to the other units we have rented in building 5, this one was the most updated, the cleanest, and the most well-stocked. At some point the second bedroom was eliminated in a remodel and the livingroom/sitting area was thus expanded. Unless you need a second bedroom, the extra livingroom space is very nice. I also appreciated the desk/work area, as I always travel with my laptop and it was nice to not have to set up my work area on the dining room table. The property management company was very responsive. We realized that there wasn't a toaster in the unit as there should have been. We reached out and a new toaster was delivered to our door that same day! The next time we visit Princeville, we'll definitely be staying in this unit.
The condo is nicely updated with contemporary furnishings. The views from the bedroom and living areas are stunning. The ocean facing backyard with the nenes and roosters was equally gorgeous. We even saw some whales while sitting on the backyard chairs. The huge shower in the en-suite bathroom was very therapeutic and relaxing. The condo was nicely stocked with beach gear and towels. The washer and dryer were sizable and convenient for laundering our swimsuits. One recommendation we have is to get rid of the glasses or kitchenware that are stained or worn. Overall, we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Great view. Spacious condo. Wonderful shower. Very comfortable bed. Beach chairs nice. Well stocked kitchen and baths. Nice having 2 bathrooms, but the second bathroom doesn't have a shower, just the jetted tub. Good to have the laundry in unit.
This is such a special place. We spent our mornings having tea looking out at the ocean in the cliffside adirondack chairs. During the day, we were greeted by geese, then chickens, roosters, pigeons, and more. A frog visited us too. We loved waking to the view and sounds of the ocean. The unit was well stocked with extra towels, everything you need in the kitchen, and even washing detergent for the washer/dryer, which was super convenient. There were two of us, and the extra bathroom was a real luxury. Very spacious. Just an all-around great place to stay. There were a couple things to be aware of though, which are out of the control of the host...people do walk by in front of the unit. Not a lot, but definitely a handful each day. So you do not have total privacy. Also, being the bottom unit, you will hear people walking in the unit above. This was remedied for us with earbuds and only a minor annoyance. Pure bliss for us!!
Great property in an amazing location with any amenity I would personally be looking for. For the price, no other place short term rental can beat this one on Kauai!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Alii Kai. The views from the apartment and the grounds are outstanding. It was lovely to be able to step out onto the lawn, to watch the sunrise, or sunset! The apartment has everything you need for the stay: nice kitchen, washer and dryer, lovely shower and bath, and even beach chairs and umbrella. We had excellent weather, so we were able to explore a whole bunch of the north side of Kauai. The apartment's location is excellent, with stores and restaurants, and beaches nearby, and has easy access to the main highway - which allows treks to Hanalei and beaches and hikes further west. The communication from Vacasa was also excellent - we had absolutely no difficulties throughout the booking process, and during our stay.
Really enjoyed our stay the unit was perfect and the view from our balcony was incredible . Everything you need is all here . Enjoy !!!!!!

We highly recommend this condo! The views were spectacular — you could listen to waves, feel the ocean breeze, and wale watch from any room and the walkout seating. The room was even nicer in real life than the pictures showed — it was clean and well stocked with kitchen and beach supplies, and the customer service staff from Vacasa were responsive, friendly, and helpful. Also, we saw other reviews that complained about the washer and dryer - they must have upgraded since then because the washer and dryer were full-sized and we were able to wash and dry large loads easily.
Lovely way to watch sunrise and sunset on small patio off living room. Great view from all windows. Watch the sunrise from bed.
