Very disappointing property, exacerbated by misleading to false advertising, which led to unmet expectations. The house does NOT have AC throughout the two story home. It has a splitter on the upper level, which does a fine job for the upstairs, but nothing for the lower level where four of the five bedrooms reside. These rooms had ceiling fans which moved around the hot humid air but nothing to cool it down. There were also standing fans in these rooms but the black fuzzy dusty moldy substance in them dissuaded us from polluting our lungs. I thought I’d open the sliding door to outside and let air flow through but the screen door had fallen off the rails. Speaking of ventilation, neither of the downstairs bathrooms had fans and opening the windows to outside did not help dissipate the sweltering heat. The only option was to keep the bathroom door open but with three families staying downstairs that was a non starter due to lack of privacy. The upstairs primary bathroom had a jetted tub which we tried to use for the kids, but the stopper didn’t work. When we arrived we found insects in the carpeting, filth under the beds (pushed twin beds together for young couple), sunflower seeds in the carpeting, moldy coffee grounds in the coffee maker. General sense of neglect. This was NOT the “luxury” home described in the advertising. It was spacious, the accommodations were generally functional, they provided much appreciated beach gear, it had a beautiful ocean view. That’s it.
Amazing views! The perfect vacation rental for a family of 5. Stocked with boogie boards, beach chairs, and coolers. We had the BEST time in Kauai.
We had a great time and the house was well stocked, well furnished and very nice to live in. Great location a short walk from a gorgeous, secluded beach.
A beautiful home that was a great size for our family. The location is perfect with a wonderful view and great breezes off the ocean when sitting on the deck. Although there is a large split unit air conditioner, it doesn’t quite cool the whole house. The main bedroom upstairs was quite warm so we purchased an additional box fan which helped quite a bit. The beach that is below the house is pretty, but the hike down is a bit challenging as it requires hiking over rocks. There are other beaches near by to drive to and they were very nice! I would definitely recommend this home to others!

We stayed here with 10 people, 6 adults and 4 teens. The neighborhood is beautiful and the albatross chicks were adorable. Great place to walk around. Grocery store close by. The house was perfect for our needs and the host was very responsive to our questions. Having the beach nearby was amazing. The path is a decent hike but the reward is a beautiful, quiet beach with incredible snorkeling. When you hike down the path and reach the water, you would typically go left to the beach. If you go right along the water on the rocks, you will find the gorgeous hidden waterfall. Absolutely worth the hike.
Overall, we had a great stay. The location is wonderful! The walk to secret beach from the backyard is amazing. The space was plenty big for our group of 10. Communication with the hosts was fantastic and they went out of their way to make our stay extremely pleasant. We would recommend this place in Princeville!
Everything at the property was just as it was described! My wife and I shared the house with our adult children plus one (we have no grandchildren). The house was in a good location for exploring the north side of Kauai. Everyone was comfortable in their spaces. The large kitchen was great for preparing meals together. It was a fantastic week and we hope to return again someday.
We (Family of 10) spent 4 nights and had the best stay. The house was perfect for us -- plenty of room, very clean, and the view from the 2nd floor balcony was gorgeous! And property manager was so friendly and very accommodating. Can't recommend this place enough. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you!

The house is fantastic and Rodney is a wonderful host. Our one wish was that there had been more to do within walking distance, but of course that is not something that anybody can change. We had a great experience overall.
We chose this property for location, beauty, and space. It exceeded our expectations. This trip was a celebration of our 50th wedding anniversary and we wanted to bring our children and grandchildren together for some family bonding time. With 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a huge kitchen and ocean view, it was perfect. The path to the secret beach is a bit more difficult than I had hoped but the house is so close to other incredibly beautiful beaches that it didn't matter at all. We spent every day on one beach or another and enjoyed evening meals together on the spacious lanai. We stayed a week and no one wanted to leave. Our 7 year old granddaughter asked if we could buy the house and just stay there forever. We will cherish this memory and look forward to building on it.

Our family of 10 had a wonderful stay at this house. It is in a quaint, quiet neighborhood with a grocery store, liquor store and gas station nearby. The house was great for the 3 families. Keep the bedroom doors open so the A/C can cook them off. Plenty of ceiling fans to keep the air moving. The beach is nice but the grandparents staying with us we’re not able to make the hike to it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house!
Lovely well equipped house with beautiful view and lovely lanai. The baby albatross was so exciting to see. The nearby beach is lovely.
The house is beautiful and in a perfect location. It sits right on the coast with a trail to a hidden beach where you can snorkel.
The house was huge and easily fit 7 of us. There were a ton of beach chairs and it’s about 10-15 minutes from the Hanalei Bay where we do most of our swimming. The owner is very easy to communicate with and responsive.
Some things need to be updated like towels and kitchen appliances.
Awesome views of ocean! Secret beach trail in backyard…. The kids loved it. Quiet neighborhood and friendly neighbors! There was a baby albatross under the balcony and a neighbor gave the baby a book of albatross! We loved eating on the balcony with the ocean view…. And watched the sunrise there every morning. We listened to ocean waves as we fell asleep at night.

The 5 bedrooms worked perfect for our group of 10 people. The house is beautiful with a trail down to a beach right off the back yard. Note that the trail is not easy but doable for most people.

The house is perfect. We were greeted by an albatross upon arrival and it was pretty cool. The ocean views are better than the pictures would indicate. The kitchen was well stocked. Awesome little trail to the beach. The owner even called me to make sure everything was cool. Nice guy. I would definitely stay there again.
