Suite 1257 is an exclusive penthouse perched on the 12th floor, offering sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, Kaanapali Beach, the neighboring island of Lanai, and the dramatic West Maui Mountains. This spacious 1BR residence is just one suite back from the oceanfront and features over 900 sq ft of luxurious living space and over 200 sq ft of lanai space, perfect for soaking in Maui’s breathtaking scenery.
Nestled high above the palms, the private lanai offers the perfect place to unwind in the island breeze, whether you’re lounging on the comfortable outdoor seating, watching whales breach offshore in winter, savoring a tropical cocktail, or taking in Maui’s unforgettable sunsets.
Inside, you’ll find light, airy, island-inspired décor complemented by numerous thoughtful upgrades throughout the suite. The modern kitchen is appointed with granite countertops, custom wood cabinetry, and all the essentials to prepare meals with ease. Dine on the lanai or in the cool comfort of the air-conditioned dining room inside.
The living room and bedroom feature floor-to-ceiling windows to maximize the incredible ocean views. The suite sleeps up to four guests, with a king bed in the bedroom and a queen-size wall bed in the living room. Both bathrooms have been refreshed with marble finishes, new cabinetry, and tropical details, adding a touch of luxury to your stay.
Nestled right in the heart of Kaʻanapali Beach, steps from soft sands and pristine waters, The Whaler boasts one of Maui’s best resort locations. This world-famous beach offers an abundance of shopping, dining, and activities right at your doorstep. Luaus, dinner cruises, snorkel trips, parasailing (summer only), whale watching (winter only), surf lessons, and more are only a short walk away.
Lounge by the sparkling beachfront pool and hot tub or take a dip in the crystal blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. A beachside towel desk can assist with gear rentals for snorkeling, stand-up paddleboarding, surfing, and more. Great condo to stay at with everything clearly labeled and in good condition. Easy to get in and out, lovely beach access and lots to do nearby. Would definitely stay at again!
Our stay was one of our best family vacations to date. We booked this trip last minute just two days prior to arrival in Maui for a five night stay. We had such a great time that we ended up extending our trip an additional two nights. Booking, check-in, and the stay-extension process was easy with great communication. This is a top floor condo. The views from the lanai are exceptional with picturesque ocean and mountain views. The condo was well-equipped, clean, and provided plenty of space for a family of four. Having an in-unit washer & dryer was a huge perk too. We made a lot of great memories and would certainly book again. Thank you!
We arrived at the Whaler after a very long travel day only to be told by the front desk that we did not have a reservation and they had never heard of us . After several panicky and frustrating moments they called the owner who confirmed that we did in fact have a reservation. Someone had put us down for the wrong dates in a different month.The rest of our stay was very nice,great location and beautiful views. All communication with the 0wner was excellent.
We have stayed in condos at The Whaler many times and this stay did not disappoint. The condo had everything we needed. The Murphy bed was a nice addition.
My family and I loved the condo and the Whaler as a whole. The views were breathtaking and the unit had everything we needed to relax in between adventures, especially the shelves of books/games, full kitchen with cooking supplies, two full baths, in-unit laundry, Murphy bed, and spacious lanai! The hosts were exceptional in all communications before and during our stay!!!
Spring break vacation in Maui. Condo was as advertised. No issues. The owner was very responsive to questions. Highly recommend and we hope we are able to rent again in the future.
Great views. Nice property. Could use some updating inside, but we didn’t come to stay inside. Having the Murphy bed was one of our most important needs as we will not stay in a unit with a sleeper sofa.this was my 2nd stay in the unit and would definitely rent the same unit again. Mike and Elaine are very thoughtful hosts.
We just loved, loved this property. The owners were wonderful, too. Cannot wait to book it again.
We got sperated in the Lahaina fire situation and Mike went out of his way to help where he could to assist my wife to safely get on the evacuation bus and was a re assuring presence.
Beautiful location, 12th floor, expansive ocean and shoreline view. Well appointed, very clean, nice linens, includes washer/dryer. Very friendly owner, who welcomes communications w/guests with questions on procedures and expectations as well as providing written a list of arrival instructions. We have stayed in several hotels and condos in Kaanapali including the Sheraton, Marriott’s Ocean resort, Kaanapali Beach Villas, as well as others in Kihei and Wailea, and after staying here, this will be our “go to” place.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful Whaler condo. It had everything we needed to enjoy meals in, with access to several BBQ grills. The views are incredible, and beach right out front. We will definitely come stay again. Thank you!
Wonderful property for our family spring break trip to Maui. We enjoyed everything about the condo from the comfy beds to the well stocked kitchen and other thoughtful touches. The view and large lanai were spectacular for relaxing or enjoying a meal or beverage. It is on the Whalers Village side however you still have full unobstructed view of the ocean. Just stunning. We wanted to stay right in Ka’anapali and the location was so perfect. This condo truly had everything we needed for a great trip!
