We had an amazing stay in Kaanapali! The room was beautiful, clean, and exactly as described, and the view was absolutely gorgeous — truly something we looked forward to every day. The host made the entire experience easy and welcoming from start to finish, with great communication and clear instructions. We loved having the beach and pool right at the resort...a really nice way to relax if you have down time or don't awant to run all over looking for parking at other beaches. Fun, relaxing stay!

Amazing! Very clean and well kept. It came with more than what you would need. The 8th floor balcony was perfect for morning coffee and cinnamon rolls from popi’s ohana next door! The nightly sunsets couldn’t be better! We didn’t cook, but kitchen is spacious with everything. We used coffee pot, fridge, microwave for leftovers and freezer has so many ice trays. We always had ice. Check in and out and communication with host Thomas was very easy. We will definitely be back. The grounds and pools were clean. The pool bar and restaurant cafe had good drinks and appetizers.

The property was very cozy and well stocked with any amenity you might need for a beach vacation. The owner was very attentive and gave very thorough instructions to make our stay easy. The view was great from the balcony and made homemade breakfasts and dinners very enjoyable with a fully stocked kitchen. Local food trucks were just steps away adding to the convenience and the local beach is very nice and even had turtles swimming by. 10/10 would recommend and would definitely stay again.

We were in Maui for 10 days. We stay here for the first 3 nights and wish we would have stayed longer. Everything about this room was more than what we could have asked for. It was clean, great view, easy to walk to near by grocery store, food trucks, restaurants, and of course the beach! Thomas was so easy to work with and communication was top notch! Thank you!

My stay at this property was amazing! Thomas, the host, communicated beautifully with me from start to finish. He was even kind enough to allow me a few extra hours beyond my scheduled check out time! The unit was clean, well stocked with essentials, and has a beautiful view of the pool and ocean. Thomas’s guide to local restaurants, shopping, and sights to see also came in handy for my first visit to Maui. In addition, the resort staff were all very friendly and welcoming. I could not have asked for a better experience! You will not be disappointed if you book your stay here!

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay in beautiful Maui! Thomas put so much thought into setting up the unit with everything we needed. It was clean, comfortable, the view from the lanai was incredible (I wish I could have my morning coffee there every day), and it was the perfect retreat to return to after our adventures on the island each day! I have to say it's nice when a reserved space exceeds your expectation. Thomas, the host, texted us information to make sure everything went smoothly and it did. It was everything as promised in VRBO descriptions and more. The resort was wonderful, staff were very nice and helpful. The unit was comfortable, clean, well stocked, organized and accommodating. Aloha! Our stay in Thomas’ condo could not have been any more enjoyable! While celebrating our 10 Year Anniversary we did a sunset cruise, hiked to the Nakalele Blowhole, drove the Road to Hana, took a snorkeling trip to Molokini, and watched the sunset from the top of Haleakala. In between every adventurous day we enjoyed all that Kaanapali Shores had to offer. We cooked in the full kitchen, utilized the condo’s beach chairs, beach umbrella, and large cooler, for every beach day. Having coffee each morning from the lanai was magical with that view! Our stay and our experiences on Maui could not have been any better. Thomas was extremely easy to communicate with and the check-in/check-out process was easy!!We’ll be back for our 20 year Anniversary!

Thomas was a great host. We had everything we needed. He even had beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, beach towels, and bags to carry our stuff. Check in was easy. This was especially helpful because our flight was so delayed. Had a great time!

Me and my wife spent our anniversary here and the property was beautiful and just as described. The host was extremely attentive and knowledgeable of the area we were never hesitant to ask questions. The beach at the resort was beautiful and we often found ourselves relaxing and floating with the waves. We had a small mishap in the room, but the host was extremely understanding of the situation. Overall this is definitely the place to be in Maui and we hope to visit again soon!

We had a great week at this resort stay. Everything you need is there. As described you do have to pay for parking per day through a 3rd party app and also there is a gym on-site but you must also pay per day through a 3rd party as well. The accommodation was great, view was perfect and overall was pretty quiet. You do have one floor above you but didn’t notice too much noise. Thomas the host was very helpful and available for any questions. Would definitely recommend

We had the absolute best time at Thomas’ place! He was so responsive and the condo was exactly how it was portrayed online. We traveled all over the island during our stay but agreed that Kaanapali was perfect to call home base. Only wish we could have stayed for another week! Highly recommend this Vrbo!

The Kaanapali Shores resort was an amazing stay! The property was well taken care of and all of the amenities made the stay even better! Two pools, one overlooking the ocean was a treat. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect as it was only a few minutes from Napili Bay, Honokeano Bay, Black Rock Beach, and Kaanapali Beach. We'll definitely be back!

We had a great time staying here! It was perfect. The area was a fun spot with a food truck lot close by. The kitchen was fully stocked with any cookware you might need. Also, Thomas was a great communicator. He checked in with us a couple times during our stay to make sure we were comfortable. I would definitely come back again!

Studio was just fine as the resort itself. The rest was otherwise. Was unable to do laundry as the machines have gone IT and require a zip code. ane do not have zip codes in Canada and the front desk was of no help. Cannot get help unloading on arrival or on departure. Rented a scooter due to a dissibility and the front desk would not let me leave it there upon departure as we were in a private suite. Told to go to the bell hop who said he was not supposed to do it. Bribed him with cash and was able to leave it there. Very frustrartion!!

We booked this condo for my elderly parents (74+) and they had a wonderful stay. Thomas made the whole process very simple and was very responsive. The location of this condo is outstanding. My parents really enjoyed the balcony and view. The condo was clean and stocked with everything they needed. The grounds are beautiful. They are already planning another trip and wanting to book this condo again. Would recommend this condo to anyone as Thomas is a great host.

The only bad thing I can think of is we had to leave. ☹ This is a perfect Maui stay option. The unit and property were well-maintained and had excellent amenities. Excellent view under the penthouse level and an accessible elevator in and out of parking, which was a breeze. The resort restaurant and bar staff were all friendly and attentive. Thomas’s check-in and check-out support was excellent. The beach chairs and umbrella were welcome support for beach days. Great local food options within walking distance (Food Truck Park is a not to miss) or a short drive to other resorts for fancier fare. The big supermarket down the street was well stocked and catered to locals and visitors alike (I found some items there that I could not find in the Big Safeway.) All in all, if this is open when you plan to visit, book it. You will not regret it.

Property was very clean and lots of amenities. Close to lots of restaurants, beaches, grocery stores, shopping and attractions. The pool and beaches were exceptional.

The view from the room was amazing; you could see the ocean and Lanai Island directly. The house was very quiet, and there were plenty of places to shop nearby. It’s very close to the beach, making it easy to walk there and watch the sunset. If we come back to Maui, we’d choose this place again!

Just as advertised. A clean, well kept studio with everything you could need. Having a well equipped kitchen was great as we cooked several meals. We also appreciated the cooler, beach chairs and towels for day trips. Nice that they were included so we didn’t have to rent them. Thomas was great and provided us with lots of information on the area. The complex is older but very well maintained and walking distance to restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Thomas!

When booking my stay at Maui, I was hoping to get a resort-like experience with top-notch amenities at a price that did not break the bank (no $400+ per night stays at a resort). This unit checked off all of the boxes. Clean room, plenty of amenities (beach chair, boogie board, ice cooler, binoculars), and having access to the resort pool was really awesome. 11 out of 10!

The property was just fantastic! We enjoyed the comfortable bed, kitchen and view! The condo was situated perfectly to have morning coffee on the balcony and gaze at the ocean. Saw several whales which was a bonus! The condos are located right by the beach. The pool was so beautiful along with the surrounding area. The mia tias are a must if hanging out in the pool. Thomas is a wonderful host and answered all of our questions and made the stay so effortless. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

This unit was spotless, tastefully decorated, uncluttered and extremely well stocked. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the view was incredible. They really thought of everything in putting this rental together. The property is older but extremely well maintained and in a great location. Walking to local restaurants and shops is easy and there is a grocery store right across the street. There are numerous beaches within walking and driving distance in either direction. I love this area of Maui as the location is ideal if you don’t want to drive every day. You could have a fabulous holiday at this property without turning a wheel.

My mom and I were planning our very first trip to any of the islands. This can be a very overwhelming process, figuring out where to stay for 7 days, traveling 11 hours by plane from Wisconsin wanting it to be perfect but also within budget. My mom came across " Beautiful View High-Rise in Kaanapali". Being a VRBO rental I was a little nervous and hoping it would be as listed, took the chance and booked! Thomas was in touch with 24 hours of booking letting us know he's our host and already asking what he can do for us and our trip was MONTHS out! 2 weeks before our trip I emailed him to ask if he had any recomendations on tours/food that we should consider booking in advance and he sent us an entire packet of info with the who, what, where and why to go there! It was so helpful we went to many places he suggested! He sent us checkin information and days ahead as discussed he gave us the specific details on time as promised. We arrived and didnt have to mess with checking into resort and after traveling all day just went right to our room which was the best part! It is EXACTLY to a tee as advertised in the photos! THAT VIEW THOUGH!!!! It was Clean and he had everything you could need. We bought food and drinks. We had coffee and bfast on lanai every morning. Packed lunches using his cooler for the beach along with towels, chairs, umbrellas ect. He even had bincoluars to watch for whales!!! So much in walking distance, we rented a car and only used half a tank. 10/10 recomend!

Listing is as advertised! We had a great time staying at this beautiful property. The unit is very clean, cozy, and has a great view. Make sure to eat at the restaurant! Property manager was very nice and the provided cooler, pool chairs, and umbrella really came in handy for our time at the beach.

Unit was right off of the elevator, which was very handy and never noisy. Beach chairs, cooler, and umbrella are very appreciated, also the extra beach towels. The view is even better than the pictures. There are binoculars, a flashlight, and even insulated mugs-things we normally bring from home, they are wonderful extras to have in the unit. We would definitely stay again. The resort staff was also awesome. The Beach House restaurant on site is cheaper and better than Castaway Cafe farther south.

We arrive very late but the instructions and directions were very precise and we walked right in as if we were at home. The unit had everything we needed and more. The birds would welcome us every morning and breakfast on the lanai with the view and sound of the surf were a dream. We had a totally different view of Maui from the Kaanapali side of the island. We also became very familiar with the drive to Kihei, uplands and eastern side. The January storms subsided to allow us excellent quality beach and snorkeling time. Well thats all for the good times and now the long flight back to -24 (-11F) substituting snow for sand.

This beautiful unit and our host Thomas exceeded all of our expectations. When we weren't relaxing on the lanai enjoying the amazing view and watching the whales, we were enjoying the 2 pools, restaurant and pool bar. Thomas checked in with us before and after check in to make sure we had everything we needed, and even texted me to wish me a Happy Birthday. We would absolutely rent this unit again!

From start to finish our stay was fantastic. Thomas had amazing outreach before we even landed in Hawaii. He supplied an insiders guide to the area, made the check in process a breeze, and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The condo was gorgeous, walking distance to amazing food, private pools, and of course the ocean. I’ve never used VRBO before but he made me a believer. When we come back we’ll definitely be staying here again!
