The Neighborhood:
This part of West Maui sits between Kāʻanapali and Kapalua, giving you a flexible base for beach days in either direction. Kāʻanapali offers wide sand, restaurants, and Whalers Village, while Kapalua is a beautiful northbound change of pace. Close to home, Honokōwai brings a local market, groceries, coffee, and a more low-key shoreline atmosphere. The oceanfront setting is also a fine place to look for whales in season and watch the evening light fall toward Lānaʻi and Molokaʻi. It is an unfussy, scenic corner of Maui for a couple or small family who wants more beach time and less time commuting between plans.
Getting Around:
Kahului Airport is about 40 to 45 minutes away along Maui's scenic west side coastline. A rental car is recommended to reach beaches, shopping, and dining spread along the coast. Front Street and the historic town center are walkable with charming shops and restaurants, while nearby beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available in lots, though it can fill up in town.

Our swimming pool will be closed Oct.19th-Oct. 24th. We have numerous repairs and maintenance that will be completed during this time.

Loved the fact that we could leave the windows open and hear the ocean all night.
The view was lovely. The online photos were not representative of our unit - the furniture was different & the unit was much smaller than it looked in the photos. The surrounding area looked a bit sketchy, but we had no problems. The pool & BBQ area was nice & we enjoyed sitting on the lanai very much.We appreciated the pool/diving gear & beach chairs. Will probably go back to a hotel next time for maid service/fresh towels. The property met our needs and the sunset view was stunning.
This unit had a view of the ocean along with the sounds. It needs some updates and also could use comfort items. We found it rather dreary. The neighborhood is mixed, you can walk to dining options and a beach park but the closest good swimming is a drive. The complex is well maintained however it is very dated and weary. I would not stay here again although I suppose it's a pretty good value for Maui unfortunately.

Thanks so much for sharing your condo with us. Nice condo, pool/ garden and wonderful ocean view. We appreciated the wind song and and the awesome waves that seemed to roll in without end.
The unit met all of our needs, it’s small, but it works great for two! The breeze and fans kept the unit very comfortable. The screen door is a little hard to close but well worth it for the fantastic view from the lanai, it is absolutely fantastic, all the time!
Great place for a great price. Everything you need and we loved hearing the ocean all night.
