Central location walking distance to shops and beach. Great location.
Great location. Walking distance to stores and restaurants. Pool and the grounds are a nice place to relax.
Our 5th floor condo had the best views! From the lanai we could look down and see turtles amount the rocks. We even saw dolphins. Amazing. The sunsets were spectacular. The location was ideal, walking distance to restaurants, shops and beaches. The condo itself was basic and unimpressive. There was carpet throughout which can not be kept clean, especially at the beach. There were flying bugs (termites?) in the second bedroom that freaked my children out. They slept in the living room. There was nothing to be done about the bugs, they did not bite and were not harmful. But still we were disappointed to have to deal with insects. The management company was good, helpful and friendly.
We chose this VRBO property because I wanted to be able to see whales off the balcony. And man, did we! It was a great place to stay for that reason. The Royal Mauian property, the pool and the grounds were wonderfully kept. The condo itself was lacking - the carpet was very, very stained and dirty. I'm not super picky about that type of thing, but I was a little shocked at just how bad it was. Plus, the appliances were falling apart. The ice and water dispenser on the refrigerator was duct taped in, and when I was using the stove the entire control panel punched through. All in all, considering what we were paying nightly for this condo, it left much to be desired. The location is wonderful, but this unit needs to be updated and better cared for. We would stay at the Royal Mauian again, but not in this particular condo.
Family of four loved the location - just steps from two great beaches with good snorkelling right out front of the condo - fantastic sunsets and could see turtles playing in the surf and whales breaching from the deck - kitchen is very well stocked with all appliances and cooking tools that a cook could need including sharp knives!!! Would stay here again in a heart beat
