Studio 7th Floor OCEAN VIEW Condo - Royal Kahana 702

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a last minute booking that we absolutely enjoyed. The view was great, quiet and relaxing. The breeze that blows through the unit was great! It met all of our needs and had all the amenities you could want. The balcony was a great place for a meal.

Reviewer Comments: When I reserved the condo in May the description said and the pictures showed a king sized bed and a sofa pull out bed, however when we arrived there was no pull out bed anymore. I called and asked about this and they said they would figure it out but in the meantime they would give us an air mattress which they did and it was suitable but we payed a lot of money for this and to have to sleep on an air mattress was not ideal. Also the AC was finicky and the wind made crazy loud noises through the sliding glass door. These annoyances didn’t stop us from having a great time but it did not feel like it was all we payed for.

The Royal Kahana is great. Our room was great! We were surprised by the lack of Aloha. The no exception on the check in check out time during a low occupancy period for example. Also the front desk made it apparent that we had booked through VRBO so any requests we made for toilet paper etc. would not be accommodated.

We enjoy it. Clean room, good equipment, great location !

We stayed for 5 nights and it was the perfect fix. Not luxurious but when in Maui with all the outdoors, who needs that! Huge balcony with views of the ocean. Saw turtles from there almost every day. I had to get work done a few days and the internet worked well along with a small kitchen for all our needs. Would book again, thanks!

Everything was great, except the lights on the next building at night are really bright and since we love to sleep with curtains and slider open(to hear the waves & see the beautiful surf) made it difficult to sleep, we adjusted to it, but would probably choose a different location..

The condo was fully stocked although I was surprised there was no broom to sweep the floor. The air conditioning never worked but we were quite comfy with the lanai door open and the fan. We enjoyed ourselves very much. Thank you for having us.

Clean and nicely decorated, kitchen well equipped but no staples other than salt and pepper (coffee would have been nice). Balcony view is partial ocean which is as shown, and actually better than I’d anticipated. Saw many whales during our stay. Bed is comfortable but very soft, so anyone needing a firm mattress might have an issue. Bathroom, washer and dryer, all top notch. The A/C was out when we arrived (for entire building) and had been out for over a month. That should have been communicated to us before arrival. When it finally was restored, it still wasn’t working for us (may have been thermostat) but we had only a couple of days left and the two fans were adequate so we didn’t reach out. Also during our stay a loveseat was delivered. We were contacted prior and could have chosen to have them wait till after our stay but figured it would be fine. Luckily we were there during delivery however because the delivery people weren’t planning on taking the old one. Not enough room in a unit that size for two couches, and that would have been a very annoying surprise to come back to. The beach area was very disappointing and not communicated well through pictures. There is NO beach access from the property, as it is all sandbagged, permanently it seems. The pool is nice but small and pretty filled with mostly elderly folks. The building itself is well maintained and the elevators were quick and available. The neighborhood is nice and convenient for exploring. A few things are walkable- highly recommend both Maui Brewing and Dollie’s. Some ups and downs but we did enjoy our stay.

With the door cracked , windows in bathroom open , and slider open the breeze was great . (Really didn’t need AC ) The porch is great whales and rainbows ❤️. The pool was not heated for the first part of the week . It was several degrees colder than ocean to the point where it was unusable.

It’s perfect. Just right. Everything was just as it was described. Very clean, kitchen well stocked bathroom very clean, wonderful shower, bed was comfy. The view from the lanai was awesome and watched the whales. Really appreciated the fluffy nice towels. The condo property was great. The pool area was incredible - right on the ocean - gas grills for BBQ - plenty of chairs and tables. Easy check in/out. Responsive and good communication with owner. I will definitely stay here again.
