BEACHES & LOCAL WILDLIFE:
Beach conditions in Hawaiʻi can vary throughout the year due to weather, surf, currents, and tides, so shoreline size and accessibility may change during your stay.
Due to Maui’s rural environment, you may encounter occasional wildlife such as roosters and small geckos. Geckos are harmless, help control insects, and are considered a symbol of good luck in Hawaiʻi—please do not harm them.
While regular professional pest control is conducted, the tropical climate means that insects such as ants, roaches, and occasional rodents cannot be entirely eliminated. If you experience pest activity beyond what is typically expected, we will make every reasonable effort to coordinate and to address the issue. However, the presence of pests, inside or outside the estate, does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or qualify for any refund or rental adjustment.
SURROUNDINGS & UTILITIES:
We cannot guarantee that neighboring properties will be free from disturbances, including but not limited to noise from construction, traffic, or other residents and guests. Such occurrences do not constitute a breach of this Agreement or entitle guests to refunds or adjustments.
By booking your stay, you acknowledge that the Host is not liable for inconveniences caused by temporary interruptions or failures of utilities or services—including water, electricity, air conditioning, or plumbing—when such issues are beyond the Host’s control.
The Host is also not responsible for loss or damage to personal property due to weather, natural events, or other unforeseen circumstances. Additionally, cable and internet service in the unit may occasionally be unreliable; interruptions in these services do not qualify for refunds or rental adjustments.

Hosts were fabulous! Home is beautiful with a view you can’t get just anywhere. Lots of whale action. Pool and hot tub made for relaxing evenings! Close to everything in Lahaina and a beautiful 40 minute drive to the Maalea harbour.

The property has a wonderful infinity pool and a pickleball court so even when you stay home there is plenty to do and keep the family busy.The management company did a great job before and during our rental if any issues came up. We were there over Christmas and the put up a Christmas Tree for us and also added an extra blow up mattress for our teenager.We went whale watching, snorkeling, 4x4 off roading, went up Haleakala, did a distillery tour and tried glass modelling, so there is so much to do within easy distance, and so many great restaurants within a short drive. Recommend Mala Tavern for dinner (or brunch) and definitely Ulu Kitchen for brunch.

This home was amazing! The views are phenomenal in all directions. They had every single thing we needed and more. It’s really big and the photos just don’t do it justice! We especially enjoyed the hot tub, we were not expecting the cool Hawaiian breezes. We had some amazing food and snorkeling nearby and Sean was great! Super easy and very kind and welcoming. Wish we didn’t have to leave!

Perfect for our adult family vacation. Best for up to 6 people using the 3 bedrooms as the sofa pullout in the library wasn’t the most comfortable. The pool and hot tub were great. The location is convenient - very close to amenities yet far enough away it was so quiet. The views of the ocean and sunsets were spectacular and also star gazing from the hot tub at night. Rainbow Hale was a wonderful way for our family to enjoy spending time with each other in luxurious comfort. The rental company was very responsive. Highly recommend.
We have been to Maui several times. This was our favorite family vacation of all times both in Hawaii and all over the world. We want to Come back next year and make it a family tradition. Honestly is was paradise in heaven. We feel so blessed. Did not want to leave.

This time, we felt the kitchen needed a deep clean especially the cabinets. The water pressure in the guest bathroom (closest to the pool) was very low and consistent temp control was hard to achieve. This same bathrooms sink has a small leak around stem when turned on. Small maintenance items easily corrected. Over all, we are happy we chose Rainbow Hale for our second visit.

We returned for two weeks the end of January, with a few other couples. The trip again was outstanding. The weather cooperated beautifully. We saw gorgeous rainbows, and from the lanai would sit and watch the whales, jumping! The fully equipped kitchen allowed for each couple to take an evening fixing dinner. The location is absolutely perfect – up the hill from Kannapoli Beach. An amazing 2week getaway!
