Please note: Several buildings on the northern side of Puamana’s oceanfront community were impacted by the Lahaina fires of 2023. Fortunately, this property and the entire southern side of Puamana were unharmed; however, cleared parcels will be visible as you drive down the highway and first enter Puamana. We’re also pleased to report that two grocery store complexes in Lahaina—Safeway and Foodland Farms—as well as Maui's renowned Hula show, the Old Lahaina Luau, and four excellent Lahaina restaurants—Ocean Tavern, Mala, Aloha Mixed Plate, and Star Noodle—were not affected and are all less than a ten-minute drive away.
At Puamana, you can unwind in your tropical sanctuary away from the high rises while remaining just a short distance from the thrills of world-class golf, distinctive shopping, ocean activities, and exceptional dining experiences. The resort amenities of Kaanapali and Kapalua are also easily accessible. The condo was great! Just as reflected in the pictures, it was a nice open floor plan where our family could hang out cooking, eating, socializing, and playing games. The ambiance and lighting were terrific, and the master bedroom and bathroom were spectacular! All the rooms were decorated very nicely and the amenities were nice and new.
The Property had stunning ocean & beach views, a fully equipped kitchen for cooking, and A/C in the bedrooms. It was a Wonderful place to spend our Christmas family vacation. We loved seeing whales off the back porch and being steps away from the beach. We would highly recommend this property and hope to revisit!
We live fed the property views, the peaceful neighborhood and the locations. Lahaina is a great little town and I’m glad I was able to stay so close while helping them rebuild!

My family and I had an incredible stay at this beautiful property in Maui! The location is hard to beat and made the trip for us, especially having the ocean right in your backyard! We also loved the private beach access and spent many days just enjoying the property and grounds themselves. We did have a few issues with some of the cleanliness of the property - dishwasher not emptied upon arrival, and clothes from the previous tenant left damp in the washer - but I did alert the property manager about this, hopefully they will ensure better cleaning turnover in the future between tenants. Despite those minor issues, the home was beautiful and served our needs well for a family of 6! There were plenty of extra linens, the kitchen had a good amount of appliances, and the beach umbrellas and chairs were really nice to have on hand! We would definitely love to come back again and stay in either this unit or a larger unit in the Puamana Community, it truly is a spectacular location!
The house was fantastic and the sunsets are amazing. The beach access is a short walk and is small and quiet. You can watch locals surf right outside your patio! The shops and restaurants near by are also great. We liked Cocos and Merrimans. Beaches to the north are a short drive and worth the trip and the local food trucks to the south are another big highlight of the location.
Two days prior to our arrival, the host emailed us to inform us that the AC unit was not working. They gave us the option of cancelling, but it was spring break, and likely there were no other options of finding somewhere else to stay. They told us the AC would be working by Monday. We opted to keep our reservation. The AC was not fixed until Wednesday, and we had these portable units in just the bedrooms, which were really inconvenient as the exhaust was piped through the windows and patio doors of our master bedroom so we couldn’t really use the upstairs lanai - which is one of the reasons I chose this unit. Very disappointing. When the HVAC contractor came to fix he told me he didn’t think these AC units had been working for “quite some time” so I felt like we were lied to and the property manager/owner had known about the issue way prior to our arrival. The unit itself is absolutely beautiful and I loved the open floor plan of the kitchen and living room. FYI there is not direct beach access as it looks. You have to walk down about a block in order to access the beach which was also disappointing. The pool was about 3 blocks from the rental. Quite the walk with all your items and a 10 month old baby and 2 kids.On Wednesday, there was some construction going on and without warning, our water was shut off at 8am. Apparently they had a planned outage but didn’t notify anyone of this until about 9:30. Very difficult when you have small children.
The unit was great, well appointed and supplied. The property was well maintained. We didn't get in until after the office closed and we received a warning on our vehicle about registering. When we registered we were reprimanded for not checking in the night before. Also received a notice not to use the car remote to lock the car because it made a beep. Just a little overcontrolling. Overall a great trip.
This was a lovely property and an excellent location. The unit was very clean and was perfect for our family of six. The view from the lanai was absolutely beautiful and having a walkout to the ocean was exactly what we wanted and what was depicted in the photos. The property is quiet and very relaxing. We loved that it was walking distance to Lahaina. We would definitely stay at this property and at this unit again. Our family had an amazing vacation! …. Property management company was very responsive and friendly.
So many great things for our unit. View, beauty, and tranquility. Entire family enjoyed from ages 4 to 80. But pools and playgrounds are outdated. WiFi was a little slow.
