The Space:
The 747-square-foot interior is arranged over two levels so the group can spread out. The living room has a TV and room-darkening shades when it is time to settle in. A full kitchen includes a dishwasher, full-size refrigerator with water dispenser, and the dishes needed for meals at home. The private furnished balcony and in-unit laundry make beach days easier.
Guest Access:
Guests at Mahina Surf enjoy access to the oceanfront communal pool set along Maui's coastline, with garden grounds and a disabled parking spot for easy access. The beachfront location puts the water just outside your lanai, and grab rails support accessibility. A nearby laundromat adds convenience for longer stays at this 42 unit complex.
The Neighborhood:
This part of West Maui makes it easy to follow the sun rather than a schedule. Use the shared pool for a quick swim, drive to Kahekili Beach Park when you want more room on the sand, or head toward Black Rock Beach for snorkeling and the Ka'anapali scene. Kapalua Beach is another rewarding option within four miles, with a more sheltered feel. Having several named beach choices nearby is helpful for a family of five, especially when everyone has a different idea of the perfect beach day.
Getting Around:
Kahului Airport is Maui's main airport. A rental car is recommended for exploring West Maui's beaches, dining, shops, and coastal sights. Plan on driving for most outings and allow extra time for traffic along the coast.

Wonderful view, clean beautiful pool area, flowering trees everywhere. Gorgeous place , easy walk to beach
We had an amazing time for our girls’ weekend. It was 4 of us and it was perfect. The view was amazing and the kitchen was great. The only thing we were missing was a water filter of some kind and beach things - there weren’t any chairs or umbrellas or anything like that- which I am used to have available when i stay at a vacation rental in Maui. But overall we loved it. And Jimbo at the office was super nice and helpful when we needed a new fan because ours was broken. All in all highly recommend.
The view from the deck is spectacular! We watched whales breaching and surfers, as well as turtles on the beach.

We had a great time at our Mahina Surf rental. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked (our unit had spices which we appreciated) and there were sea turtles out on the beach daily. Our family had a wonderful time.
