The condo was excellent though there was no AC. Ceiling fan and small fan on dresser made it comfortable. Nice breeze from window at times. Good location to Lahaina and North Shore. Awesome view from lanai. We even saw a sea turtle.

Property was lovely. Property was clean. Had some trouble with the door lock not working all the time. Also the WiFi didn’t work in the bedroom and the IPHONE chargers didn’t work properly as far as charging our phones. Unit could use a deck of cards and more games. VRBO needs to be clearer as far as there NOT being a spa as we thought there was.

Absolutely beautiful condo! Exceptional detail to cleanliness with the condo and the furnishings, linens and utensils. The most spectacular view. We watched whales, sailboarders and sea turtles everyday from the spacious balcony and loved the ocean waves & sunsets. Top floor was quiet. Everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Hope to return soon. Great food nearby. Host was quick with replying to questions before and during stay.

We didn’t have one bad sunset from this location! Beautiful place, comfortable bed, and amazing views. Loved being able to watch the sea turtles on a daily basis! Great location-felt very safe and while it was peaceful, it was easy to get to places you wanted to go. I also loved that it was close to the more secluded beaches!

We love this property. It's got a beach, perfect view, and it's close to Dollies! We didn't even need our car. What more could one want.

Our 10 days stay was terrific and we hope to be able return soon. The folks in the office were great getting us settled. The condo was as represented and very comfortable. It's nicely set up with everything we needed. The location is near some great beaches, snorkeling reefs and good restaurants. What more would you want?

I will start with words: gorgeous sunsets, whales, turtles, cooling afternoon winds, quiet, spectacular view. We awoke to the soothing sound of waves that totally drowned out anything but dreams. The condo was well supplied with pots and pans for cooking. Very clean and comfortable. I slept in the bedroom on a fantastic mattress. My friend slept on the sofa bed. The traffic noise ended around 11pm and started up again at 4:30 am, in between I was lulled back to sleep by the ocean waves. The biggest problem with traffic noise was due to “shaking” loud music of a few repeat drivers, (I watched the traffic one morning,) and mufflers that didn’t muffle. The road that Khana Reef is on, is also a bus route that starts around 5am and comes by every 30min. Very Accessible. The grounds and location are perfect. There is a beach adjacent to the condos that offers all a beach has to offer to a swimmer and sun lover as well as snorkelers and sand castle builders. Grocery store a few miles away and excellent Chinese take out is just across the street. Home away from home. A glass of wine to watch the sunset tops of a great day. Aloha.

The view from the lanai was as good as the pictures. We saw whales and turtles each day of our trip. Even though there was no AC, with the windows open there was a lovely cross breeze that kept us comfortable. It did mean keeping the bedroom window open, which points to the hallway not the ocean, but thankfully it was a pretty quiet building. Bed was comfy.

We have been coming here for years and we are always sad to leave. The hosts are amazing and when we go there, it feels like coming home!

Property is clean, amenities are easy to use, whales, whales, whales (we were there in February).King bed is comfy, everything was “spot-on”. Owner came, without calling, to replace batteries in the lock. Bery nice stay!

The condo is situated on a breathtaking part of Maui. It’s worth renting the place just for the view from the balcony. The unit had everything that we needed for a delightful stay and we would like to come back in the future.

I cannot say enough good things about this property. The view is amazing! I would come here again for that reason alone. The condo is immaculate. It feels like an upper-end hotel with more space and amenities. The location is great and within walking distance to a local coffee shop and a few restaurants. I would definitely come back to this property again.

The property is very clean, has a wonderful island feel, and met our needs. This is our third time to stay in this unit. The owners manage this property themselves and their responsiveness is excellent.

Wonderful condo! Everything was exactly as described online. Best ever views, so close to the water. We also enjoyed that it was a smaller property so it was peaceful, on the quiet side. Loved how clean it was! Thanks for that. So easy to access the unit, easy parking. My husband had spine surgery so our request for a shower chair was GREATLY appreciate. Only recommendation would be to have some spices available for those that wish to cook a meal or two.

Sunsets from the balcony A+. Very clean, well appointed, quiet, everything works. The ocean breezes kept us comfortable Our parking permit flew out the window and David brought a repla30 minutes after I sent a message. TrVelled a ways to find our favorite fish restaurant

Best part was the view; place a bit dated but ok; a little warm at nighttime even with fans. However, the surrounding area is great; saw turtles and a reef shark, amazing sunsets. Comfortable bed.

This was exactly as shown. The lanai was great with the ocean view & sound of the waves. We discovered that near sunset the sea turtles come up to the seagrass covered rocks below the sea wall to feed. We also saw crabs & the last evening a group of dolphins was playing in the waves. The location is very nice with China Boat right across the street, Dollie’s & The Beach House in walking distance & the Sea House & it’s amazing happy hour just a short car ride away. Would love to stay again.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The view of the ocean is as pictured - we could see whales everyday right from the balcony. We had everything we needed. Just a note, there are no condiments other than salt and pepper, so if you plan on cooking a lot, you might want to pick some up. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The condo was quiet so it was a great place to be at the end of a long day of sightseeing. Would definitely stay here again!

Loved our Condo. Had everything we needed to have a wonderful time. We adore this place and have been coming to Kahana Reef for many years. Can't wait for our next trip in 2025!

My wife and I have stayed in a least 50+ VRBOs all over the world. Bree and David’s condo was the best. First of all, they are kind and gracious hosts. They kept in contact with us for many months before our stay. When the fire destroyed parts of Maui they assured us that since we were coming in January that we would be fine. Their condo is decorated in a minimalist style, but there is nothing you need that is not there. My wife spent hours every day watching whales swim through the channel. The condo is extremely comfortable and cleaned in a superb manner. We were ready to write an excellent review the moment we walked through the door. It is furnished with a large, clear LG TV that has perfect reception. The furnishings are all comfortable, especially the king sized bed. Parking is easy and the laundry is right downstairs. We could not be any happier than we were to stay in this lovey condo. The views are absolutely stunning all day long. Thank you Bree and David for a remarkable stay
