Standard Cancellation Policy:
If cancellation notice is received 30 or more days prior to the check-in date, a 100% refund will be refunded within 10-14 business days from receipt of written cancellation.
If cancellation notice is received at least 14 days prior to the check-in date, 50% of the booking will be refunded within 10-14 business days from receipt of written cancellation.
For a cancellation notice received after 14 days prior to the check-in date, a refund will not be issued other than the departure cleaning fee.

Overall, the place did the job for what we needed, but I do think it’s important for future guests to understand what they’re walking into. The biggest challenge for us was the lack of AC — the fans provided weren’t very powerful, and the heat made sleeping difficult for both the kids and myself. The bathrooms also don’t have windows or ventilation, so they became extremely hot after showers.We also had an issue with one of the window shades in the ground-level primary bedroom being completely broken off, which left the room exposed from outside. We messaged the host about it during our stay but unfortunately no action was taken. We ended up hanging a towel for some privacy, though it wasn’t very effective.Additionally, there was a live cockroach near the entry upon arrival. I understand this can happen in tropical, ground-level properties, but it was still a bit jarring to walk into.The location and overall setup may work fine for some travelers, but I’d recommend managing expectations around comfort, airflow, and privacy before booking.
