Two-Bedroom Oceanfront Villa at Marriott's Maui Ocean Club - New Lahaina or Napili Towers!

This spacious 2BR/2BA luxury oceanfront villa features roughly 1200 sq ft of interior living space and can sleep up to eight guests. Rest comfortably with a king-size bed in the primary bedroom, a king-size bed paired with a queen-size sofa sleeper in the guest bedroom, and a queen-size sofa sleeper in the living room. The primary bedroom is outfitted with Marriott’s signature “Halo” king-size bed, and the primary bathroom is equipped with an air bubble jacuzzi bathtub, glass shower, and separate vanities.
Gorgeous panoramic ocean views from each room in the villa are sure to impress. Guests will enjoy the convenience of a modern kitchen featuring granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, cookware, dinnerware, as well as a full-size in-suite washer and dryer. There is plenty of room for six guests at the dining room table, and there are large flat panel TVs to enjoy your favorite show.
The full-service resort boasts two lagoon-style pools, a massive 3.5-acre super-pool with waterfalls and waterslides, jacuzzis, and a pirate ship area for children. The amenities include mid-week clean-up service, pool towel service, exercise facilities, and a concierge. Spa services and valet parking are also available for a fee. There are three restaurants located on the property serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Food and drinks are also available at the pool and beach. There are grills/dining areas downstairs throughout the property, and guests may use them to prepare dinners and dine al fresco on the beach.
Should you wish to explore the area, world-class shopping and dining at Whalers Village is just a 10-minute stroll up the scenic beach path, and numerous activities can be enjoyed right on the beach, including surfing lessons, snorkel charters, sunset sails, and parasailing. Excellent snorkeling can also be enjoyed at Black Rock, located further up the beach path, and if you would like to attend a luau, there are numerous choices within walking distance. Hop in the car, and you'll find that the Marriott Maui Ocean Club is only two miles from luxurious Kapalua with its magnificent golf courses.

- The resort’s Molokai, Maui, and Lanai Towers will be undergoing a significant villa refurbishment and plumbing infrastructure renovation project, which is currently anticipated to take place between June 2024 – September 2026. This work will occur daily between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm HST, and there will be construction noise, including noise from demolition, operating machinery, and carpentry. There may be intermittent impacts to resort amenities during the project.*

Unfortunately we never made it to The Marriott Ocean Club. 4 days before we were set to arrive the Kona Low that hit Maui was predicted. I reached out to the manager and asked if we could reschedule because everything I was seeing online urged us not to come. The day we were scheduled to leave our flight was cancelled due to the 1st Kona Low hitting the island. We began seeing reports of flooding, roads washed away, power outages, and emergency evacuations. We made the tough decision to not bring our family to Maui with that much strain being put on the island. They were also hit with a second storm at the end of the same week. Unfortunately VRBO would not work with us at all. I understand their policy, but this was not a normal storm. Yes, we bought the insurance, but they also would not cover a cancellation due to weather. I wish VRBO would have offered us something....a discount to rebook for another time or a partial refund, but they were not helpful at all. I still love Maui, but just wish people were more considerate during emergency situations.
Great location and excellent facilities. Would stay here again.
Lovely weather and staff
Though very expensive the apartment itself was nice. But here are the problems: At this price point maid service should be provided daily, not once per week. The microwave malfunctioned only to be followed by the dishwasher. I only discovered the latter when I tried to use previously "washed" dishes and discovered they were still dirty. Those dishes are unfortunately back on their shelves which I regret thinking of the next occupants.
Our ocean view unit was clean and met the needs of our 7-person group very nicely. We weren't that impressed with the amenities -- the pools were fine; the restaurant Longhi's was only so-so. Proximity to the beach is good, although the you have to watch for rocky spots in the shallow water and the waves aren't great for boogie boarding or surfing. It gets better as you move north toward Black Rock but it's still not that good. It's not too long a walk to Whaler's shopping.

The Marriott Ocean Club property is centrally located on the west side of Maui. Great beach, pools, and several restaurants and shopping close by. The condo was spacious and perfect for a family.

Unit was clean and exactly as described. Due to the floating nature of the units uncertain which floor you will end up with. Was hoping for a higher floor unit but ended up on the second floor. Still you’re in Maui with an ocean view!

The property is beautiful! We had a beach front room, very easy to access beach! Great pool, swam everyday. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Information about property description could have been more accurate. It said 2 bedroom villa but in reality the property has a one bedroom and one sofa bed in the living room which is misleading
