Construction on Maui often proceeds slowly due to permit delays, inspections, and material availability. Recent projects have taken years, with active work only about 30–40% of the time, leaving long periods of inactivity. Work is limited to Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekend construction hours.
Beach Disclosure: Although Puamana features a golden sand beach, storms with heavy rains and large waves can occasionally erode the sand. Many beautiful beaches are nearby if you find yourself here during this time.

This was the most amazing experience and place. It is simply unbelievable!
Host was friendly and seemed helpfull. House was great. Biggest issue were the cockroastes and ants. No one came to add more traps when called. Baby ants in bathroom also.

We were 3 couples and two children which turned out to be a perfect number. We arrived to a home that was easy to get into and spotlessly clean. We had 2 rental cars and parked one in the designated spot and paid to park the second one in a nearby unreserved space. My husband and I stayed in the master suite upstairs. It was wonderful to sleep with the sound of the crashing waves and wake up to the unobstructed view of the sea. The suite included a sitting area and a large and 2-sink bathroom. There is a small deck with two chairs and a little table - perfect for an early-morning cup of coffee and watching the kids playing on the beach. The 2 main bedrooms downstairs were large and comfortable. In fact all the beds were supremely comfortable. We all slept really well. The small bedroom with 2 twin beds was perfect for the 2 10-year olds. The kitchen was large and well-appointed with everything we needed to make simple meals. The large table on the patio was perfect for meals with the whole family. The location is really the best thing about this condo. A quick walk (20 yards?) and you’re at the little opening where you can access the beach. Along the way is a little outdoor shower for rinsing off. The beach itself is uncrowded - just the other condo residents - and the waves were always just right for body surfing, even for the girls. All in all, this is no doubt an exceptional way to spend a week in Maui. I would highly recommend it!
Property was accurately represented online. We were 3 generations celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary - 2 sons, spouses and kids 14 and 17. Bedrooms with en-suite were perfect, shared space large enough and outdoor space was where everyone spent much of the time relaxing. Easy walk to Old Town and centrally located for our other activities. Beach towels were a huge plus but there was only one set of bathroom towels in each room. We were happy to have the washer/dryer to keep up. Floors were not very clean and we swept up them all the first day so it was clear they had not been washed. This could be improved by adding a mat outside the door and rug inside. Owner/manager needs to be proactive with regular bug control. We had 2 vehicles and followed all the Puamana condo association rules. They are relentless about parking and it seems petty to charge for the second vehicle after such an expensive rental. Consider working that out with the owner behind the scenes so the guest is not harassed. We brought in an executive chef for our last night and he was very impressed with the kitchen and condo (except no exhaust fan which we alleviated by having the glass doors wide open!). This was a once in a lifetime vacation and overall everyone was VERY happy with our accommodations!
Awesome beach view and great house . Would rent again .
What a beautiful location and close to town so that we could enjoy restaurants and shopping. Our children enjoyed surfing at the neighborhood beach. We had the best week with them and the house was very comfortable for us all. The property manager was very easy to communicate with as well.
We had a great stay. It is an end unit so it was very quiet, private, and the views were incredible. Great layout for our family and the pools within the community were great for the kids. Close proximity to downtown Lahaina. Not close enough for us to walk but a very short drive. The parking situation was very easy for both of our cars as well. The house had plenty of beach towels which was an added bonus.
