Property Overview
This tandem package features two fantastic 5th-floor two-bedroom suites that are right across the hall from each other. Hokulani 510 offers delightful partial ocean views along with views of the West Maui Mountains, and Hokulani 511 offers full ocean views along with views of the lush interior courtyard.
These suites provide a perfect opportunity to gather, reconnect, and celebrate. The combined suites offer 2200 sq ft of interior living space and can accommodate up to 12 guests. There are two primary bedrooms, each with a king-size bed, in addition to two guest bedrooms, which also feature king-size accommodations. For added flexibility, each guest bedroom's king-sized bed can be split into two XL twins at no charge. For even more sleeping capacity, there are two queen-size convertible sofa sleepers in each suite's living room.
We encourage you to express your culinary creativity in each fully appointed kitchen. We have provided every appliance and utensil to concoct the perfect meal or refreshment; just bring the ingredients. In addition, our commercial-grade Vitamix blender lends itself well to preparing creative libations or smoothies with fresh local produce.
Get swept away by the lovely Maui sky after folding away the glass doors and allowing the interior to blend seamlessly with the outdoors. You are welcome to relax on either lanai and enjoy the gorgeous outdoors with the ocean, mountain, and resortviews that Maui is famous for. Enjoy your meals on the spacious lanais or dine indoors in the cool comfort of climate-controlled air conditioning.
Take pleasure in spending your days at the resort’s three-acre aquatic playground. With four separate swimming pools, a waterslide, waterfalls, fountains, and four hot tubs, there will be no shortage of options for you and your loved ones to enjoy.
When it is time for a bite to eat, Honua Kai is home to the popular Duke’s Beach House, which serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails. Duke’s specializes in serving up Hawaiian-inspired cuisine using locally sourced ingredients and freshly caught seafood. Should you wish to enjoy a refreshment by the water, poolside service is available. For coffee, sandwiches, and other grab-and-go items, including beach gear and souvenirs, visit the Whalers General Store conveniently located in the Konea Tower lobby.

When you go thousands of miles on vacation to stay in an expensive resort the last thing you expect is to have roaches in your room. Yes roaches!! We called several times to report the issues but at that point little could be done. Management did offer 10% off each night but that was only a little over $600. The uncleanliness of the room really made our family uncomfortable and had to change our plans. We could no longer get up and fix breakfast, lunch or dinner in the room due to roaches crawling in the kitchen. So the $600 they say they are reimbursing we definitely spent that and more having to eat out every meal.
Great room, well stocked kitchen, great location near pool and beach. Under ground parking for small vehicles only, SUV don’t fit well, but still close and convient
We couldn’t be happier with these units. The views were even better than we originally thought, everything was spotless and the convenience of being able to reach out to Maui Rentals was outstanding! Not to mention, the complimentary shuttle that is offered is such a great perk! Such a great experience! Thank you!
Overall impression was exceedingly positive. Lovely property that rental company needs to keep an eye on. Was surprised to find frayed material on bar stools and hair in the shower when we got there. Laundry stackable was extremely handy in our 10 day stay. Couldn't beat the view! Being given a bracelet that would let me in my room, get me into underground parking, go into the pool and ocean as well as get towels was the best. This place must be very popular because they couldn't even give us a 2 hour late checkout which was a bummer.
Our family of twelve - ages 9 years to 75 years spent a week and enjoyed the incredible views and activities at this resort. Location was perfect! Short drive to all Maui adventures. Will definitely come back!!!
We love staying at Honua Kai. It's on the best beach and close to so much. We had an issue with water temperature and it was immediately address and fixed upon notifying the management company. Great service and great price.
Worked so well for our mother daughter trip. My sister and I had one condo and our adults daughters stayed in the other. We thoroughly enjoyed the property. We spent a lot of time in the various pools and in the ocean. Great restaurants in the area and if you are willing to have an early dinner and return by 8:00 the shuttle was perfect..
It was just perfect. I personally like a little carpet in my living area for safety of toddlers, but I understand the ease of tile for maintenance
Very comfortable condos.
They units are spacious and nice. Property managers are easy to contact and quick to respond. Resort is nice. Only down side is checkout is at 10am which is very early when most flights leave later in the evening. Overall, great experience though.
