The host was friendly. The condo was clean, great amenities and updated. View was spectacular. Enjoyed our stay!

Mornings on the balcony overlooking the ocean was our favorite thing. Beach towels, chairs, umbrella, and cooler let us explore the whole island with everything we needed. It was just overall the best experience!

Our second time staying in this area. Loved this property. Conveniently located to many beaches, shops and restaurants. Very clean, beautifully decorated, well equipped kitchen. Having the washer and dryer was a bonus as we didn’t have to pack extra. The beach on the property wasn’t the easiest to access but that might just be the time of year. We will stay here again!

The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to prepare meals. Having a washer and dryer, and enough laundry detergent to complete laundry and a few unexpected loads was super helpful. The unit owners were readily available to help with any questions/concerns that came up. We would definitely come back to this unit if we have the chance to.

This condo is perfect! From the gorgeous kitchen with awesome appliances to the one of a kind view from the lanai. We’ve been to Maui over 20 times, and this is the BEST condo we’ve had the pleasure of staying in. The hosts were wonderful and attentive. They genuinely want their guests to have an unforgettable time!

This was a beautiful condo with nice views and very clean. They really thought out about the essentials that are needed during your stay. We had a wonderful time here and absolutely love the home.

This unit is amazing! Hale Mahina is the only place we have ever and would ever stay. We've stayed in several units at Hale Mahina and this is definitely one of the best units ever. The unit is newly remodeled, has everything you need, the kitchen is amazing and of the view of course is spectacular! If you are looking for a quiet getaway in a great location, this is your place!

Reviewer Comments: Pluses:~ Beautiful views from the Lanai. ~ Easy access to the small, private beach (no long walks on the beach here). ~ Seeing Honu turtles in the surf just off our beach daily and evidence of their beach visits in the morning, plus actually seeing them on the beach one night!Room for improvement:~ While there is a portable AC unit in the bedroom, it only cooled the room to 82, though it was set at 67. I found closing the bedroom doors helped cool the room to 77.~ All lights were left on in the unit prior to my arrival which added to the heat. ~ A small lamp for the counter area to the right of the desk would be nice for low light. (I moved one of the bedroom lamps there temporarily during my stay.)~ A tall lamp beside the sofa would also be appreciated.~ The bedroom would be very tight for 2 people given the fan and portable AC nearly block access to one side of the bed.~ The bathroom end of the bedroom and the bathroom itself can be seen at night, when the lights are on, from the staircase landing outside the unit.~ Bed is VERY FIRM (and I like a firmer bed).

Host was very accomodating helping with any issues. Great "private" beach where the turtles loved to be around. We enjoyed our stay and would come back again

We had a very enjoyable stay. The only drawback for us was the lack of air conditioning on our first night (beginning of September) as it was hot and humid with the fans not providing enough cooling that we are used to. This experience may vary for different people with different temperature preferences. The condo had everything we needed with exception of soap and shampoo for showering which was easy to get with a 10 minute drive south to Safeway, or even closer at the Times Supermarket Honokowai. Condo felt spacious enough for two adults and a toddler. Beautiful ocean view and adequate privacy night and day. Neighbors and neighborhood were not noisy. We did not run into any problems inside or outside the apartment. Wish I could have stayed longer. We would come back in the future if the opportunity presents itself.

Steps down to the beach, water is warm and lots of fun. Outstanding service by the hosts. Immediate and helpful responses. Ate at a hidden gem, Castaway Cafe-both breakfast and dinner were great,couple of times at Leilani’s, a Mexican cantina in the Times Market parking lot. Of course, snorkeling and the boat rides are great fun!

I came on my own for a little rest and relaxation and a break from my family -- this condo was perfect!! Beautiful ocean front views, sunsets, sandy beaches, and turtles and whales all day every day! The unit was extremely clean, well-appointed and the kitchen had everything I could possibly need. I will definitely come back!

The view from the lani is beautiful. We stayed during the height of whale season and were treated to views of many whales over most of the stay. There were also numerous sea turtles that swam off the shore and some that came up onto the beach to sun themselves. During the weekend the number of people swimming, paddle surfing, and snorkling was greatly increased and with that, the whale and turtle sightings dramatically decreased as would be expected with increased human activity in the waters. The only downside to the entire 10 day stay was the neighboring dog that barked off and on all day and all night. Since this occurred only the first 7 days of our stay we were unable to determine if it belonged to another guest in the complex and was not a permanent resident or neighborhood pet, but the guests prior to our stay had also mentioned the barking dog in their comments. Overall the stay was fun and enjoyable.
