If you're looking for a flop house, then this is your place. The place was dirty, the living room furniture shown is not there, instead yhere was one broken down couch. Table was covered in crumbs, crumbs on the open shelves, durty bath mat, durty rug in the bedroom and rusty bedside lamps. Host was not responsive and lied to vrbo when we complained. We checked out after 1.5 days. 2 hours later i developed a raging conjunctivitis infection in my eye (yes i have medical records). Now i question the cleanliness of the bedding. My husband is from the area so we know reasonable from bad. Don't take a chance on this unit.
This was such a great location in Hilo. The property owner answered calls and questions promptly before our trip. Would love to stay here again.
We enjoyed our holiday family gathering at this location. We especially enjoyed the outdoor barbeque area. This property was clean and had great value. The host was very nice and accommodating. We would definitely consider staying at this property again.
Overall, this unit was well worth the price and contained almost everything we needed. Both bedrooms were comfortable. We didn’t use the loft. The location was convenient for everywhere we wanted to go on the Hilo side of the island. Instructions for opening and closing the front door could have been more detailed, but the owner showed us how. This unit is the one closest to the street, so you do hear the traffic noise, but it quiets down at night,
Close to markets and restaurants. No washer/dryer available for guest use but coin laundry nearby. A bit tight for 5 adults but manageable. Property manager was very responsive to any questions or issues.
Great place, A/C in every room. Very clean inside. Outdoors isn’t fancy, and road is a little noisy. Host was terrific and it was a great value.
My family of 4 stayed in this property and had a great time. The home is comfortable and in a convenient spot so we could get anywhere in Hilo quickly. We would definitely stay here again.
This townhouse was clean and had comfortable beds. The AC was great and there was some nice beach equipment. The kitchen was small but functional with good appliances. The only problem we had was that the wifi sometimes didn't have a great signal. The location was perfect for accessing Volcanoes National Park, local waterfalls, beaches and the zoo.
We stayed in unit 2 but I would still love to give my review/opinion about it. This was a truly amazing place to stay in. It was my first time in unit rental and it truly felt like a home away from home!! Everything was just as they say it was in the listing and the property owner/manager was super kind and patient. Mahalo for an amazing stay, I would definitely book again in the future!!
