Spacious, Waterfront Condo in the Kanaloa at Kona Resort. 3 Pools, Central A/C.

Our condo was in a great location and we were very happy it came equipped with beach chairs, pool noodles, and a water football! We had lots of pots and pans to cook meals in and the water and ice in the fridge was a huge plus! The blender that was provided in our unit had a piece broken and after I messaged the owner about it, he quickly had a brand new blender sent to us the next day. This was very sweet and helpful because we bought a huge pack of blender smoothies from Costco when we arrived. We loved using all 3 pools and hot tubs as well as the ping pong table and pickle ball court. We were very happy with this condo and location!

Beautifully maintained property with an outstanding ocean view lanai! We have stayed at the Kanaloa Resort in the past and it never disappoints. Great location with restaurants and shopping close by. Highly recommend!

Loved the location in Keahou and the view from the lanai. The bathrooms were nice. Other spaces could use some updating. The unit was stocked with lots of beach towels, handy small coolers, and two great beach chairs.One frying pan in the cabinet had been put away covered in grease. Yuk! Otherwise the unit was clean.

Great location to everything on island.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. She has a bad knee so, having something on the first floor with only a few steps to negotiate was wonderful. Parking was close to the unit and having it covered kept the temperature lower. The pools were all close by and seldom used while we were there. The unit is well stocked with cookware, towels etc. All appliances worked well and the air conditioning kept things cool and comfortable when needed. We had no issues and would recommend this property to others.

This is our first stay at a condo in the Kanaloa Resort and we loved it. It checked all of our boxes. We enjoy having a view from the lanai and this one was beautiful which, in the morning, was peaceful with views of both the nearby Heʻeia and Keauhou Bays (the path to Heʻeia Bay is great) and in the evening fun to watch as the dive boats went out for the nighttime manta ray dives. The pools were delightful-we swam in each of the three and my husband loved the grills.The unit was spacious and clean and well appointed with all that we needed. The location was perfect since we felt far away from busy and crowded Kailua-Kona town, but the amenities are very close. Keauhou shopping center one half mile away.We hope to return.

The property was wonderful. We did a little cooking and the kitchen worked out great. We ate lunches on the back porch with a beautiful view of the ocean and the property was conveniently located on the west coast of the big island.

There was all you may need on holiday, very clean and spacious, we had a great time!

We would rate it 4.5 stars. Very clean and the bathrooms were nicely renovated. The kitchen was complete with all the essentials you need to make a meal. We had a great time and liked the location was near the shopping area. The complex has an adult pool that we enjoyed since was always empty. The pools are clean and well maintained. Highly recommend!

Great stay - everything was as listed. Very nice unit, quiet and good location. Spent each morning enjoying coffee on the lanai, reading, looking at the water, enjoying the birds and listening to the waves. Really nice way to start the day!

Really bad communication. Had a broken railing that was unsafe , a broken Murphy bed leg brace. Older style condo unit. Hard time to get ahold of the host. Other than that it’s a great location .

Excellent property. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds. Condo comes with many amenities, beach towels, umbrella, beach chairs, washer/ dryer. Very close to shopping. Go a little further and there is a walmart,Safeway and Costco. Definitely need a car to get around. Our first visit to Kona. Will definitely recommend.

We would this unit again.

Wasn’t very clean. Windows in bathroom, bedroom and living area never washed and had poop in window casings. Needs good throughout condo. Location was great and we enjoyed our stay.

This condo is perfect for a couple’s get away. The location on the island is convenient yet secluded. The location within the resort is also convenient yet secluded. We enjoy watching the activities on the bay from the lanai, where we ate most of our meals. The resort pools and grounds are lovely. Host is very responsive and kind. We’ll return!!

This is my 2nd time stay at this lovely condo. My 2 friends and i were impressed with how spacious and nicely appointed the condo was and the enjoyed the beautiful pool overlooking the ocean bay. wimpressed with thr spaciousky

This is my second visit to this condo and we will be back! Nice location. Lovely unit with all the necessities for a perfect vacation. Wonderful Lani. Great pools on property. Close to shopping and beaches.located very close to the night-time manta Ray snorkel which is an excursion you do not want to miss!

Our family of 4 stayed here over the Christmas holiday and it was just perfect for us! Even with 1 bedroom the condo is spacious, and the kids slept on both the Murphy bed and the pull out sofa. We had everything we needed including and lots of thoughtful extras that made our visit great. Like a beach umbrella, beach chairs, laundry, binoculars (which we used to watch the boats while we sat on the lanai), a flashlight (to look for stuff we may have forgotten at the pool), games (that we thought we would play but didn't) etc. A different experience I think vs renting through a company. The condo community is wonderful. We used the pools and the shared gas grills and met lots of very friendly residents. The neighborhood was really wonderful and refreshingly less commercial than I was expecting, but still very convenient. There is a shopping plaza closeby that was larger than I realized with a grocery store, drug store, gas station etc etc. Melinda was a terrific and very responsive host. Hopefully I'll come back to Kona again someday and rent Melinda's place again. If her place is booked up, I'd try to find another condo in this complex :)

Great location! Well maintained property and unit with nice amenities. Enjoyed the pools, views from the lanai, and close proximity to the manta rays. Would defiantly stay here again if visiting the big island

Great location and view. Simple and has everything you need

We had a wonderful time at this condo for the first half of our honeymoon. It was well equipped in the kitchen as well as beach equipment for our use. And what a view from the lanai! We hope to stay again on our next trip to Kona!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The units are in great shape for their age......I lived in Kona when they were built! We will definitely come back again Mahalo

The condo is wonderful. The bed is very comfortable, the lanai has a beautiful view, and the bathrooms are great. It's nice having a washer and dryer along with a dishwasher and other little extras. The kitchen is nice, the covered parking is convenient, and the location was perfect for us. Given the opportunity, I would be very happy to stay here again.

Well appointed, quiet location, 3 pools around you, and ocean views. The hosts were great, enjoy a stay at their pad!

Property is clean, quiet, and comfortable. Getting bedroom tv to work was a challenge, it took a couple of days ( and I’m fairly electronics capable). Significant ant problem that property manager responded to. They returned couple of days later after a heavy rain. Toilet innards may need replacing, not working well on both of them. All reported to prop mgr when we left.

The property was clean, well furnished, and in a wonderful location. We enjoyed a beautiful waterfront view every morning when we ate breakfast on the covered porch. The three resort pools made for refreshing relaxation after a day exploring. The condo community was very quiet and peaceful.

Great central location in Kona. Easy to walk to one of 3 pools, fantastic sunsets to watch from the ocean pool or cliff’s and close beaches to snorkel or enjoy nearby. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful view, great amenities and quiet complex.

Just right for planning your own adventures or just relaxing by the pool. Cozy and convenient to a great little shopping complex and the action of Kona is a short drive. Just around the corner from guided snorkeling tours, and a nice little beach. Complex is safe, ultra clean and well maintained. Condo has everything you might need. We had a deligtful stay.

I’m this is a comfortable and lovely condo. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of tourists in Kona but close enough to shopping and dining when needed. Safe. Secure gated community. Perfect for 1 to 6 people. I will stay here again.

It is certainly a beautiful location. The overall grounds around the condos are beautifully kept. The condo itself is large and has all the amenities. Except---there were no coffee filters for the coffee machine. We were then told that they don't supply those (this makes no sense). Also no Kleenex (seems like this should be supplied). The water filter in the fridge needed to be changed which happened the next day. The safe in the closet was broken, and was never fixed while we were there. Other than that it was a great place to stay. The local person who looks after the condo is easy to contact and whatever problem, she is right on it. The A/C for us was good and went down to 70F which was perfect for the evening. Shopping and some dining options are just up the hill, and you are 15 minutes from Kailua-Kona for beaches, restaurants and stores.

This unit was clean, very fully equipped, and had a spectacular view from the deck. Our only concern is with the fees attached to this booking which basically doubled the daily cost. We will never book through VRBO again.

This is a cute spacious condo with a very relaxing vibe. The community is pretty quite which is nice. There are 3 different pools with hot tubs to choose from. You will be a short 10 minute walk to a great snorkel/swim spot. There is also a couple tour companies located at that snorkel/swim spot you can book for excursions. The condo has carpet so the only downside is the moisture sticks in the carpet and you really have to air it out daily otherwise it can get a bit musty. I was fine opening the dorrs and lighting a candle.

Large oceanfront condo in excellent area. We had 2 small issues that the owner rectified immediately.

This spacious condo in a beautiful setting was equipped with all the necessities for a wonderful stay on the Big Island.

Lots of room inside - especially the master bedroom. The patio is nice to sit in morning and evening. The pool areas are nice. No walkable beach and about 15 min drive to Kona town, but right near big grocery store and pharmacy, and close to Kona coffee places. Only complaint we have is that the air conditioning was limited to 74 and we found it hot at night.

This is our 2nd time staying in the condo resort, and our first time in this unit. I would stay again for the view and location alone! The condo had everything we needed and was a great size for my husband and I. No complaints, as the owner was easy to contact. As mentioned in some of the other reviews, be aware that there is noticeable noise from the above unit when occupied (feet walking, furniture moving), and bugs like under the kitchen sink (we took out our garbage daily and used the bug spray provided to help). The air conditioning only goes down to 74, which can be a bit warm for some. The lanai is the best! We spent most of our condo time enjoying the view and lovely weather.

Amazing condo. Spacious and extraordinary views. Communication with host was easy and effective. Close to restaurant and supermarket within 5min or less drive. BBQ grill and three pools were available for our use. Highly recommended property.
