We had a wonderful time at the property. The KBM team was very helpful throughout the process and our stay.
THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS THE ELECTRIC PLUG IN THE GUEST BATHROOM WAS INOPERATIVE AND i HAD TO USE THE HAIRDRYER IN THE DINI8NG ROOM AREA. GET IT FIXED PLEASE.
Beautiful property, awesome location with pool and beach access, very responsive management company.
Elua 2009 has a beautiful, expansive ocean view from the large lanai. There is plenty of comfortable outdoor seating to enjoy watching the whales playing and kayaks or outriggers following them around! The condo was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Washer and dryer worked great. We really spent most of our time outdoors and that area is terrific. We plan to return.
This property is below the standards of the Elua that we have enjoyed for decades. It should have been upgraded prior to rental.Pre arrival communication with KBM was adequate but could have been more helpful. Some of the infant equipment supplied was appreciated.Final payment was processed weeks prematurely with no forewarning. This was reversed but bank charges and exchange rates cost us 241.11. KBM advised the error was by VRBO and that we should advise them of the problem. That has now been done with this note. I await a reply.The kitchen was poorly equipped. This was in part rectified days after our arrival.Housekeeping was very well represented by Sharla who eased our discomfort with cleaning as well as child and kitchen equipment during our two week stay.Maintenance was well attended for issues with screen doors,hot water,broken glass tops for outdoor side tables which were temporarily taped for safety purposes.Air conditioning problems were also attended to during our stay.This unit had very tired and used furniture inside and out. The single beds are in need of new mattresses. Patio rattan furniture was very worn,torn and disintegrating.As mentioned,this unit was below the expected standards for the Elua and should have been upgraded prior to being placed on the market or at least properly represented in the description supplied.
