The Maui Moon Oceanfront Condo- Perfect for couples!

Beautiful views, wonderful accommodation. Whale watching was incredible.

The condo is in a great location - close to town and restaurants with a patio, beach and pool steps away. Clean, well kept place and had everything we needed for a day on the beach - beach chairs and towels and a cooler. Parking is also easy.

Had everything we needed for successful beach trips. Beautiful view. Clean and laundry was a big plus.

excellent beach location

I loved staying here! The ocean is right there, a wonderful swimming area with a break wall. Only problem was they were resurfacing the parking lot, so parking was an issue, but this is of no fault of the host. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay here! The owners have thought of everything….beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and even snorkeling gear and binoculars! The condo was quiet, comfortable and decorated beautifully. (Love the color pallet!) Kitchen was well stocked, bed super comfy, and they even provided plenty of hangars. We enjoyed breakfast every morning on the lanai and finished every evening with a mai tai as we watched the sun set. So beautiful and peaceful. Excellent location! Highly recommend!

We’d give it a 10-star if we could. The view was breathtaking from the balcony, the location close to pretty much everything, and the unit was spotless. In addition to all the cooking supplies and bath towels we needed, we were so happy when we discovered beach towels, beach chairs, an umbrella, extra beach bags, and a cooler for a day at the beach. Pamela is an excellent host. We will definitely come back on our next trip to Maui.

We were delighted with our room and all the amenities. There were so many touches that made you feel truly at home.We started each day sitting outside sipping coffee and watching the sunrise. Next came the skulls which were ao fun to watch. We highly recommend a stay in this unit. We truly enjoyed ourselves.

Gorgeous view. Fantastic lanai. The unit was beautifully appointed, clean and so comfortable. It had everything we could need and we felt like we were home. It made our stay in Maui so enjoyable.

The only surprises were good ones!The unit was as clean (immaculately so) and well appointed as we expected. What we didn’t expect were features arising from the location.It was the at the best place in the complex, 15 yards from the water, the closest we’ve ever been in Hawaii. “The water” was a prehistoric Menehuene fish pond”, and beaches were available off either side of the property. We had beautiful sunsets every night over Lanai. We could imagine the breaching whales we missed by not being there in the spring.Perhaps our favorite feature was that 200 yards north past the Humpback Whale Visitor Center was a beach where green turtles came up nightly at sunset — as few as five, as many as 15. That we’ll remember forever.It’s the northern-most complex in Kehei — away from the crush of town and nicely placed to explore the rest of the Island.You won’t go wrong here.

My husband and I really loved this property. After many hotel rooms it was nice to stay in a home. The condo was beautifully furnished with a beach/ocean theme. Very appropriate with the amazing front row view of the ocean and beach from the balcony. We also saw the most amazing sunsets every night . A huge plus was the VERY well equipped kitchen! It was great to prepare our own meals and we loved not eating out. Also, the hosts provided beach chairs and towels! The entire condo was very well equipped and we felt very much at home. The host was also very responsive to any questions that we had. Lastly, being able to take long walks on a beautiful beach every morning was a special time and we saw sea turtles on the water. We highly recommend this property. You won't be disappointed!

We had a fantastic time at the Maui Moon Ocean front. Everything was accurate as described in the property information. Check in and out was easy. Great locastion with stunning views of the ocean. We felt this was a good central location for seeing all of the island.

Beautiful view and was clean…however there were some small roaches in the bathroom and I didn’t feel super comfortable after that!! They scurried under the sink when I turned the light on in the middle of the night…yuck! Luckily we have family here so we ended up not using it the second night. I understand it’s a warm climate and bugs will happen but it might be time for another spraying. I will probably choose something that doesn’t connect with so many people next time.

We had an amazing stay! The place was absolutely perfect — clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. The location couldn’t have been better for all of our adventures, and we loved watching the sunsets each evening. Pamela’s hospitality was truly unmatched. Condo was comfortable and stocked with what you will need for your stay! Beach items were also accessible. The view from balcony was relaxing and pleasant. Check in was easy and host was responsive. We enjoyed our stay! My husband really enjoyed the bedding blankets. Many restaurants and shopping areas close and not from from OGG airport.

The condo was exactly as we expected or better. The location is central to the island and we felt like we were able to get everywhere with ease. We loved having the kitchen to prepare fish that we caught. The view from the balcony is picturesque and many an evening was spent watching the ocean and sunset from it. The mini split air conditioners were great when you needed a cool down in the unit—they worked very quickly. The bedroom was quiet, dark, and we were able to get as much sleep as our travel schedule allowed for. We truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to any other couple or solo traveler headed to Maui.

We really enjoyed our fist trip to Hawaii. We were very pleased and very comfortable with our condo. W felt right at home. The property was very nice and it was very well located and a good launching point for all of our activities. Had everything we needed.

Great place, great location

Aloha, as the listing says, Maui Moon is PERFECT ! From the initial booking, to past checkout, Pamela & Matthew were very responsive and extremely helpful. We had been planning this trip for 5 years since we’re were delayed due to the pandemic in 2020 and subsequent life events. Our expectations were far exceeded and can not wait until we are able to visit in the future and stay at the Maui Moon.

Everything was great! The communication with the property manager was great…short response time! The unit was clean and stocked with everything you can think of. The bed and linens were comfortable. We had coffee and wine every morning and evening on the screened lanai. The views are amazing and sunsets are perfect. Easy access from the elevator. The building was quiet and tidy. We loved it!

My husband and I were planning our first trip to Maui and we wanted to make sure that we had a view of the ocean. I found Pamela’s place on Vrbo and thought this would be a great place. When we arrived, we had no idea how much better it would be than what we originally thought. We definitely could’ve stayed longer. The view of the sunset every night was amazing! The condo was extremely comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated. The location was also perfect. We were able to go on morning excursions and come back later in the afternoon to explore Kihei. We had a great time and a big part of that was because we had a fantastic place to stay. Would highly recommend Pamela’s condo when visiting Maui.

This condo is spectacular. The views are amazing and they have made sure to have everything you could possibly need for any day trips or excursions you take. Highly recommend staying here and hope to be back someday.

My husband and I stayed here for a week for our 20th wedding anniversary. We enjoyed every minute of it! The condo was very nice and cozy, and had everything we needed for our stay. The view from the lanai is stunning! We spent a lot of time out there relaxing and listening to the waves! We were able to whale watch every day. The location is perfectly centralized and near every restaurant, store, beaches, and airport! Our host, Pamela, was available for any last-minute questions we had and responded right away! We would definitely come back and stay here again! Thanks for making our trip even that more amazing! Great place!

The Maui Moon condo was a wonderful choice for our week long vacation. The condo offered ocean front views, beach accessories available, and a local spot close to many attractions. Pamela was a great host and quick to respond when communicating with us; going above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Maui!

Location is excellent. On water. Pool. Yet still close To Kihei shops,, Wailea/Makena, airport etc. perfect accommodation for two with a balcony overlooking water, sunsets, and marine activity. The hosts were responsive when we had questions. They provided extras like beach coolers, folding chairs, and a beach umbrella. We would definitely return for a stay.

These hosts not only designed this amazing beachfront condo to look amazing with modern appliances and amenities, super comfortable bed and convenient building and parking access - they made us feel truly at home, a home away from home. This place makes us feel like coming to Maui annually so that we can visit this beautiful place as we call it home for our stay. My GF and I had the most amazing stay. The location is perfect. The views are breath taking and look just like the photos. Pamela was wonderful to work with and very communicative. The space has everything you would want including beach towels, snorkeling gear, and beach chairs. Kitchen has everything you need for a stress free stay. Parking was easy as well. We even requested some extra cleaning supplies and Pamela dropped off what we requested the same day. They are wonderful and we had a perfect stay.

This property was in a great location for our desires and activities. Pretty centrally located. The condo was clean and had all of the amenities we needed. Loved the balcony!

Fantastic stay! The location is very convenient. If you walk just to the other side of the Whale Observatory you could have a long stretch of beach all to yourself. We had the entire beach to ourselves two days in a row. Pamela was superb at responding and suggesting local eats! Mahalo!

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was exactly how it was advertised. It had everything we needed. Very clean, updated and a wonderful balcony area for enjoying sunsets. The grounds of the complex were well maintained and the pool was a great place to relax. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the turtles and going in the water off of the beach. We will be back!

First, I'd like to confirm the good things: A wonderful ocean front view, a quiet and private unit, an equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, ample parking and overall good location. All communication with the host was very good, no issue whatsoever. Definitely a good stay. However, for me wonderful would be closer to a dream condo or a luxury hotel room. This building and this unit, though nice, is a bit old, very little space in the bathroom, tight shower with an old faucet and an okay bed. In addition, some amenities I'd expect for a wonderful rating were not there: a glass for toothbrushes (ended up finding one in a kitchen cabinet), a box of tissue paper, a bar of hand soap and such. Overall looking at the value for money, next time I'd look for somewhere else, now that I know better. Also a deposit of $1000 for damages (or a $50 insurance policy) seems excessive, compared to other listings. Again, we enjoyed our stay. Just be aware of the above.

Kehei is a great central location on the island and this rental was perfect. We enjoyed the fishpond, saw the many turtles that hang out on the rocks in the morning. The rental as as described and we felt safe and at home.

We visited Maui for my brother’s wedding. We absolutely adored our accommodations. Everything was exactly as listed. We read other reviews which were accurate. The view is the best I’ve see. In years. The location is perfect proximity for shopping and exploring. The hosts were the BEST and very attentive. Will definitely stay here again.

Great location

Well-appointed and the view was very nice. I guess my expectation with the price of the unit was of a newly updated unit, but it was somewhat less than that. In all fairness that could be the going rate I have been coming to the Islands for 35 years and have not seen prices, on everything, this high!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for our 25th anniversary. A minor issue with the toilet was repaired quickly and with minimal interruption of our visit. Everything we needed from beach gear, cooler for road to Hana, and cookware was available. Looking at the photos when we were booking, I couldn't help but wonder if the exterior images had been photoshopped in, but they definitely weren't! Our first few days, the mountain was cloud covered but it cleared and was absolutely gorgeous! If you want to observe sea turtles, make sure you wear water shoes and venture out toward the rock barrier, they rest there frequently. My only (insignificant) complaint was that the evening sun which created the beautiful sunsets did heat up the condo quite a bit. Thicker curtains would've been nice to keep it cooler, especially when we weren't there and enjoying the view. The lanai did look like it had an apparatus that may lower to block, but we didn't notice that til our last evening so we didn't check with the owner to see if/how it worked. Highly recommend this unit and responsive owner.

Everything we wanted It was real nice the only issue was some bugs. The unit had everything and more than expected. All kinds of beach stuff and coolers.

The Maui Moon Oceanfront Condo is a very lovely condo and was just as pictured. The location was great. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the lanai in the evenings. Absolutely beautiful view!! The condo is stocked with most everything a person could want. We would definitely return to this condo if we are lucky enough to make it back to Maui.

Our favorite unit at this property, and we’ve stayed in several. Updated, the view is fantastic and the owner is extremely responsive and welcoming. We hope to stay here again. Only issue is that time seems to go faster on Maui.
