We appreciate your support as a small, self managed Maui family owned rental instead of renting from a large mainland management company.
Experience island life in our luxury, spacious, one bedroom condo. Unit #22 is on the top floor and feels extra spacious because of the vaulted ceilings. This rental is offered to you directly from a local family intent on providing you with the ultimate vacation rental experience - clean, comfortable, lots of beach equipment, beautiful tropical atmosphere and good value.
Tamara and her children personally own and manage this condo to ensure your much anticipated Maui adventure has a restful and peaceful space to call home - morning Kona coffee on the tropical sundeck, cool afternoon siestas or evening drinks, sunset, and barbecue by the pool. Our unit has a fabulous oceanview from the bedroom.
The award-winning Grand Champions is a highly regarded tennis and golf resort in the heart of Wailea with a laid back and private atmosphere that busy hotels cannot offer. We understand potential guests may have reservations booking accommodations on the basis of internet advertising only, but we can assure that you will not be disappointed.
This luxury, one-bedroom condominium is located walking distance to many of Maui's most pristine, white sand beaches - Keawakapu, Mokapu, Ulua, Wailea Beach, and Polo Beach. There is a three and one-half mile, paved, beach path that fronts five-star hotels for morning exercise or evening sunset strolls. If your heart desires to just lounge about, there are two gorgeous pool and whirlpool spa areas that also have gas barbecues and shaded tables for pool-side dining.
The condominium is located two minutes away from the Shops of Wailea. There you will find terrific restaurants in all price ranges, Hawaiiana stores as well as casual wear such as The Gap and Banana Republic. Three renowned championship golf courses and 11 tennis courts surround the Grand Champions Villas providing preferential rates to our guests.

'As frequent visitors to Maui, we have always stayed in various Wailea resorts. This was our first condo rental experience and I have only two words to say - 'Absolutely perfect!!' We were impressed by many things, among them the fact that the unit was spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained. We were also pleased with how quiet the building was. We are on east coast time, so we are usually asleep by 6PM and up by 3AM. We will be returning to Maui later this year and we'll be in touch to check availability.'

Oh Maui, this condo had easy access, was close to the ocean, shops, great food! Amenities were all we needed, plus great beach chairs and equipment. Tamara was great with communication and privacy….would definitely book again!
Great location, great washer/dryer. The AC is a noisy window unit and barely cooled the bedroom. The rest of the condo stayed warm. The chairs and sofa were stained. Overall the unit could be cleaner.Ants in the kitchen. Broken door knob. Beach chairs have broken straps. Bathroom exhaust fan full of dust.
Great stay at Tamara's condo. The location is fantastic, walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurants and the Wailea beach trail. The condo was well equipped. We easily cooked meals in the kitchen, which had everything we needed. The condo was clean and welcoming. We brought the provided beach chairs and beach towels, to Big Beach. The bathroom had sunscreen and a first aid kit, The band aids came in handy. Having a laundry allowed us to pack light. We really appreciated that Tamara left us dish soap, hand soap, trash bags and laundry detergent, all things we didn't think of buying at the Safeway on our way from the airport. We hope we can stay again on our next trip to beautiful Wailea Beach.
Nice unit. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back someday soon. The unit was in a quiet area near everything Maui has to offer. The complex was quiet and clean. We would stay again.
This was our second time staying in this unit, and it was just as great as the first. Perfect location, well-priced, and comes as advertised. Will continue to recommend for anyone staying on Maui!
We’ve stayed at Tamara’s properties a few times. Both condos have been in excellent condition and are well stocked and equipped. There is also peace of mind that he owners are local should anything arise. We’ve moved the dates of our vacations to match when these properties are available. Great communication Ang great properties!
Great stay and great location! Some updates could go a long way. We really appreciated the communication and the view from the bedroom! Would absolutely stay again!
"On June 7, 2024, we booked a condo at Grand Champions Resort, Maui for June 10-16. On arrival, we found extensive construction, including a crane and roofing materials blocking access to our unit. Caution tape blocked the path, and notices prohibited use of the lanais. We were not informed beforehand. Our host emailed us on our arrival day, saying she forgot the project. Yet the notices stated it began May 30 and would continue thru July 8. Her email seemed deceptive. Our host said if we chose to find other lodging, she’d only charge us for the days we stayed. That meant wasting vacation time finding another place or putting up with conditions in hers. We felt her offer was inadequate, but didn’t want to risk more of our short vacation. Workers began at 7:30 am, making noise, dropping trash, and using the lanai as a work area. We had to close the lanai doors and curtains for privacy. The interior was dark and lacked air circulation since the bedroom A/C was weak and the living room fan was broken. Our host dismissed these conditions, claiming that “most people visiting Maui aren’t inside their condos between 8 am – 4 pm!” After check-out, we emailed our host expressing our disappointment. Since she admitted we didn’t have full use of our rental, we felt we deserved a discount. She eventually agreed (in writing) to a small refund but framed it as a “payoff” for not writing a bad review. We had never mentioned a review. To date she has not sent the refund nor answered email.
First time in Wailea Loved the place / host was very communicative
The place is very clean with all the amenities. Check in was easy. The kitchen utensils and appliances are in very good condition. There are beach chairs, umbrella, and boogie board in the condo. The swimming pool and hot tub are very nice. The kitchen cupboards are a bit old and the set of knives really should be replaced. Overall we had a great time staying here.
Tamara was very responsive and helpful. We had a great holiday and would recommend this location!
