Konea 734 is a luxurious 7th-floor two-bedroom suite with a private corner location, boasting gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean and West Maui Mountains.
The generous 1230 sq ft interior offers plenty of space to gather, reconnect, and celebrate. Each bedroom offers a sumptuous king-size bed and a queen-size sofa sleeper in the living room, bringing the total sleeping capacity to six. For added flexibility, one of the king-size beds can be split into two XL twin-size beds at no charge. In addition, Konea 734 is one of the very few two-bedroom suites to feature ocean views extending into the primary bedroom!
You will have plenty of space to stretch out and relax in the refreshing Maui outdoors because this suite offers an oversized 450 sq ft lanai, one of the largest on the entire property, and perfect for soaking up the dramatic scenery while you dine, entertain, or relax.
We encourage you to express your culinary creativity in the well-appointed kitchen. The space is fully equipped with stainless steel Bosch appliances and granite countertops, and we have provided every appliance and utensil to prepare the perfect meal or refreshment... just bring the ingredients.
Enjoy your meals on the expansive lanai or dine indoors in the climate-controlled air conditioning. In addition, our commercial-grade Vitamix blender lends itself well to preparing creative libations or smoothies with fresh local produce.
Take pleasure in spending your days at the resort’s three-acre aquatic playground. With four separate swimming pools, a waterslide, waterfalls, fountains, and four hot tubs, there will be no shortage of options for you and your loved ones to enjoy.
When it is time for a bite to eat, Honua Kai is home to the popular Duke’s Beach House, which serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails. Duke’s specializes in serving up Hawaiian-inspired cuisine using locally sourced ingredients and freshly caught seafood. Should you wish to enjoy a refreshment by the water, poolside service is available. For coffee, sandwiches, and other grab-and-go items, including beach gear and souvenirs, visit the Whalers General Store conveniently located in the Konea Tower lobby.
A state-of-the-art fitness center is located in the Konea Tower, perfect for guests looking to maintain their workout routine during their stay.

Comfortably housed a family of 4. Resort and facilities are amazing.
My husband and I enjoyed the room and resort so much. Gorgeous views, large, spacious condo, and comfortable beds. Many amenities and great pool and restaurant.
The unit have great view! But we didn’t have good experience w our stay there. The customer service was poor . We arrived early around 1:30pm and asked for early check in. Miquel Romano said they are cleaning the room now and would let us know when ready . Haven’t heard back so called an hour later and said still not ready . It wasn’t til about 2hours later before he texted said room is ready! Does the unit really take 2 hours to clean? We checked in the sink was clogged . There were roaches in the kitchen and in our drinks. They didn’t come and take care the til next day. For the price we paid for we expect much better service and cleanliness.
We were very happy staying at Honua Kai with Maui Resort Rentals. The views and the property were fantastic, and communication was prompt!
Condo was great, pool was a lot of fun for the kids, they spent hours in there. Restaurant was very good and order out app was very efficient. Great stay all around.
Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Property is as described w/amazing views. Pool (all of them) and beach accessibility is perfect. Mgmt co was quick to respond to WiFi connectivity issue and provided a memory foam futon and linens for our child upon request. If you return late in the evening, the parking garage will be full and available outside parking is a very long walk away.
Great property, provided a visitor travel during the school year—which keeps children to a minimum and reduces what is otherwise excess noise and chaos. Fees for parking must be refused or eliminated, as “parking” is not sufficient for the number of guests and the fees are a gimmick to shift costs and expenses around to other line items. Overall, beautiful location and very high quality property. High end for sure.
