The beachfront location puts the water just outside your lanai, and grab rails support accessibility. A nearby laundromat adds convenience for longer stays at this 42 unit complex.
The Neighborhood:
West Maui's shoreline is the draw here, with Mahina Surf positioned between Ka'anapali and Kapalua. Kahekili Beach Park, Black Rock Beach, and Kapalua Beach are within four miles, each offering its own swimming or snorkeling stop. The nearby Fish Market Maui, less than a mile away, makes it easy to pick up a local dinner. The setting rewards guests who like to balance a planned beach outing with an unplanned walk by the water.
Getting Around:
Kahului Airport is Maui's main airport. A rental car is recommended for exploring West Maui's beaches, dining, shops, and coastal sights. Plan on driving for most outings and allow extra time for traffic along the coast.

Quiet and incredible views
The location was perfect and watching the sunset from our patio or the pool was breathtaking. We couldn’t have been happier!
We loved the grills right by the ocean and how quiet it was.
Great place to stay.
The Mahina Surf is a wonderful complex - great location right by the water. The pool is nice, and the gas grills are a nice feature as well. We have stayed at the Mahina Surf (in 103) for the past two years, and have enjoyed it both times - we highly recommend it. The condos are all similar - but do have some differences (you can Google each one individually for pictures and features). Some are more modern than others (they are privately owned - so depends on what updates the individual owners have made), and have different sleeping arrangements (king vs. queen, etc). But the pictures on site are accurate. The VACASA on-site manager, Jim, is wonderful and always very helpful with our questions and needs. Highly recommend this location.

Another great stay in unit 103 at Mahina Surf. Very comfortable, clean and inviting. Everything one needs is available. Amazing view of the ocean and beautiful sunsets. Highly recommend this unit and Mahina Surf.
We stayed at Mahina Surf 103 at the recommendation of my son-in-law. The condo had lovely Hawaiian decor with comfortable furnishings. Though there was no AC, there was a wonderful cross breeze from the bedroom to living room. The lanai had table and chairs to enjoy the view of the ocean and garden! The salt water pool provided daily relaxation. And the gas barbecue made dinner preparations easy. The kitchen was well stocked for any type of cooking as well as plenty of outdoor plates and glasses. We will definitely be returning!
This place is perfect! My husband and I stayed for our honeymoon. Perfect little place with an amazing view! Only thing I would recommend is needing a little more cleaning products and the laundry area is only open from 8am-5pm. That’s peek time when people love to sight see and go to the beach! Other than that, amazing little place! Definitely would love to book there again in the future.
I love this unit! It has everything one needs to enjoy their stay in Maui. The view is amazing. The owners are extremely nice and accommodating. I can’t recommend this unit any more then giving it 5 out of 5 stars even though it deserves much more !!!!
