Kuleana Resort 313 is a charming 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo that comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests. The spacious bedroom features a (new as of Dec 2025) California King firm hotel quality bed complemented by 1 window A/C unit for added comfort. Additional sleeping arrangements include a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, ideal for extra guests. The bathroom is equipped with a glass-door walk-in shower and a separate vanity area. Please note that the resort does not have elevator access, and the condo is located on the third floor.
This well-equipped unit offers all the comforts of home, including a fully appointed kitchen with sleek stainless-steel appliances. The cozy living area comes with a flat-screen TV and complimentary Wi-Fi, perfect for relaxing or staying connected. The condo's Hawaiian-inspired décor is complemented by ceiling fans, ensuring a cool, comfortable environment throughout your stay. Step outside to your private balcony, where you can enjoy the lush green views. The balcony features a dining table for two, along with a lounge chair.
Kuleana is well known for its grounds which are located on seven acres with walkways surrounded by gorgeous plumeria and ironwood trees, all types of hibiscus, ginger, and palms. The Kuleana complex consists of 7 low rise buildings (no higher than 3 floors). Most locations in Maui require you to drive somewhere, but Kuleana has its own SECRET – a pocket beach, a beautiful little cove situated within the gated grounds. While you will not find coral formations that equal Kapalua Bay (just 2.3 miles north), you will be able to snorkel among schools of reef fish and swim among green turtles without leaving the resort. There is a large, heated swimming pool suitable for lap swimming, a tennis court, putting green and a shuffleboard court. In the lanai-like lobby, you will find a ping-pong table, an honor library, an activity booking desk, and reception. There is an on-site coin laundry and free parking. A popular feature of the resort is the four BBQ grill area situated on the ocean's edge. Watching the sunset over the sea and the lighting of the tiki torches, while grilling, is a memorable experience.

Condo was clean, well-equipped and in a good location. We were able to see whales breach right off of our balcony! It was also fun to walk down to the private beach to see the giant sea turtles rest on the sand while taking in the sunset views. I highly recommend Meriman’s for dinner. It’s only a few minutes away from the condo. There is also a beach by the restaurant that has wonderful snorkeling. We appreciated the cooler and the beach chairs that owner has in condo for use. Great place! We would definitely stay there again.
The property was beautiful, you couldn’t beat the whale watching from the lanai! Will be staying here again next time!
Great Stay, the grounds, pool, and beach are amazing. Watched sea turtles and whales play in the surf. Unit is well appointed and comfortable. Sunsets on the lanai were awesome. 😎
Delightful fun perfect place
The condo was very nice and the grounds beautiful. We would stay again. Unfortunately, we were there when Hurricane Dora passed by. We lost power from the wind and headed into Lahaina searching for coffee in the morning. We ended up heading to Kihei for the day and then returned passing through Lahaina about forty five minutes before the fire shut down the road. We were very lucky to not have been there at the wrong time. The resort has propane BBQs that came in handy for residents to cook on, since the power was out. People came together and shared what food they had. The resort also housed some of those who had just been evacuated from Lahaina.
We love the location and we love that the turtles do too.
Perfect, on the water, lots of amenities, super clean, updated unit, and property was impeccable.
Exactly what we'd hoped for. Beautiful condo with everything you need from cooking to beach chairs. The balcony draws you out to a beautiful view and the sound of the ocean. The grounds are very well kept. We walked them every evening and watched the sunset. Loved our 8 night stay and highly recommend.
Everything was lovely as far as condo, location and grounds. No shade or umbrellas at pool. Only two mismatched beach towels w/ no in unit washer. I understand people are disrespectful and hard on short term rentals however the constant stream of negative emails, texts and posted messages in the condos was a lot. The 10 am checkout seemed to garner the most threats followed by the loss of pool key. I removed one star for this reason.
The location is very good ! The house was neat and very clean and everything was well organized. Really enjoyed staying here
Great spot, close to pool but quieter than expected. Great whales, turtles and surfing off the property. Place was clean, really nice dishware and well stocked cabinets. Would stay there again!
