Peace and tranquility await your arrival at Konea 221, a spacious and luxurious oceanview studio that provides a lush and peaceful atmosphere with partial views of the Pacific Ocean and solitude from the prevailing trade winds. Relax and reconnect in the ample living space, fully appointed for your enjoyment.
This convenient and luxurious 2nd-floor partial ocean view studio suite can accommodate up to 4 guests with its king-sized bed and queen pullout sofa. The bathroom provides a glass walk-in shower, or perhaps after the sun fades beyond the Pacific, you will want to enjoy a bath in the soaking tub and invite in the last rays of the day. When the night is through, drift off to the sounds of your favorite TV show or movie from the suite's recently upgraded smart TV.
The glass lanai doors fully open allowing four persons to comfortably enjoy the stunning view. This suite has its own private lanai (balcony), unlike some of the other second floor interior suites at the resort which share a balcony. With Konea 221 opulence and comfort are the constant, gracefully interwoven for your happiness and relaxation.
We encourage you to express your culinary creativity in the well-appointed kitchen. The space is fully equipped with stainless steel Bosch appliances and granite countertops, and we have provided every appliance & utensil to prepare the perfect meal or refreshment... just bring the ingredients. Enjoy your meals on the spacious lanai or dine indoors in the climate controlled air conditioning. In addition, our commercial grade Vitamix blender lends itself well to preparing creative libations or smoothies with fresh local produce.
Take pleasure in spending your days at the resort’s three-acre aquatic playground. With four separate swimming pools, a waterslide, waterfalls, fountains, and four hot tubs, there will be no shortage of options for you and your loved ones to enjoy.
When it is time for a bite to eat, Honua Kai is home to the popular Duke’s Beach House, which serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails. Duke’s specializes in serving up Hawaiian-inspired cuisine using locally sourced ingredients and freshly caught seafood. Should you wish to enjoy a refreshment by the water, poolside service is available. For coffee, sandwiches, and other grab-and-go items, including beach gear and souvenirs, visit the Whalers General Store conveniently located in the Konea Tower lobby.
A state-of-the-art fitness center is located in the Konea Tower, perfect for guests looking to maintain their workout routine during their stay.
Should you feel like pampering yourself with a refreshing massage or treatment, head to the Mana Ola Spa. Location of the complex is very convenient. The condominium and resort property were clean. The onsite restaurant, Duke’s, is convenient and good. We did appreciate the cooler and 2 chairs in the condominium. It would have been nice to have an umbrella. We bought one at Costco to use as it was less expensive than renting for the duration of our stay. We were very disappointed that the washer and dryer were not able to be utilized due to a very strong odor in both. We were offered complimentary laundry service but it was still very inconvenient as you had to arrange it before and wait for it to be completed. As a result, we were not able to take advantage of the opportunity to do our laundry the evening before we left. It was raining and would have been nice to have accomplished that.
The condo is exactly as described. Clean and convenient location to every thing we needed.
Loved the Honua Kai and Suite 221. The photos were completely accurate and waking up to that beautiful view every morning was awesome! Booking was easy and great communication with property manager.

Awesome place. Great beach. Nice pools. Will be back. Would suggest to offer some beach accessories, we left some so hotelier the next family can use.

My husband and I stayed for a week with our 4 yr old. Perfect location, beach out front was amazing- swam with turtles, saw whales and honestly the snorkeling was better here than our tour to molokini. Our son LOVED the pools and the water slide. We cooked and bbq’d most of our meals and the studio was perfect for the 3 of us. We will be back!

This unit was everything and more! We would definitely stay here again. The second floor was easy to get to and the view of the ocean and property was amazing. For a studio it felt spacious and loved the vitamix , coffee maker and Tommy bahama beach chairs. We added a Tommy bahama umbrella. Thank you for a great place to celebrate our anniversary!! Mahalo!
As we have no complaints about the facility and grounds, it was beautiful, our room was not as clean as it should have been.
Great location. We spent days by the pool and days by the beach. Close to plenty of shopping, restaurants and more. Great space to unwind and relax.

Property very clean and looks exactly like in the photos. Check in process was a little bit confusing, no lobby or reception area. Everything is text message but doable.
