Wonderful host, clean & no musty order at all. Beautiful property with friendly staff , postcard views from lanai. The A/C, full kitchen and king bed helped our stay be just what this retired couple needed!

We had an excellent stay at this unit at MKV and would absolutely book here again! Barbara was always available for communication and sent us comprehensive guidelines and tips for our stay in Maui. The studio unit had everything the two of us needed, down to snorkel gear, beach chairs, and umbrellas for two adults! It was clean, fresh, air conditioned, and had everything we needed to feel at home after long days exploring Maui.The MKV grounds were also very lovely and easy to navigate. The pool and beach areas were just an elevator ride and a short stroll down the path, and there were plenty of sitting/tanning areas to enjoy. We loved the free access to the barbecue grills and morning coffee/tea/hot chocolate, and also utilized the (paid) laundry and spa services! As to be expected in humid/tropical climates, we did see some little bugs every now and again in the kitchen, but as long as we kept food put away we didn’t have issues. The front desk was also available to spray for bugs, as I believe they do pretty consistently like all hotels in the area, but we did not feel the need to utilize this service.We had a rental car, but MKV has access to the Kaanapali Trolly that makes several stops on the walking strip and to Whalers Village! This was incredibly convenient and saved us on gas and parking! This was a trip to remember, thank you so much Barbara for making our booking so easy and straightforward! Looking forward to hopefully coming back one day 3

My daughter (6) and I stayed here and loved every minute. The view on the lanai is my favorite. Barbara was easy to reach for even something minor. Highly recommend 517!

Stayed 11 days, 5th floor with great view of Lanai island. Clean unit, quiet location. new appliances, comfortable king bed. Uncrowded beach with Lanai to the left and Moloka'i to the right. Saw whales and turtles every day from the beach. Good snorkeling 600 ft north, beach chairs and umbrella included. Large grass area with shade trees and lounges. Warm pool and a hot tub that was actually hot. Castaway Cafe on site has very good food, drinks and service. Very well maintained quite resort.

We had an excellent week long stay. The condo was clean and spacious. The location was perfect for hikes, restaurants, and of course, the beach. Highly recommend this for your next Maui vacation.

Barbara was an amazing host! The condo was in a great location, close to the grocery store and had a free trolly we took to different locations for dinner multiple nights. There was everything we needed to have a great beach day already there, and the beach was less than a two minute walk away! We had an amazing trip and cannot recommend this condo enough!

Our unit was pristine with a fabulous view of he ocean, wonderful way to start the day with a cup of coffee and ocean breezes. MKV itself is very well maintained with beautiful grounds and well kept common areas. The pools are 5 star. The cafe has a limited menu, but all food was excellent, zip lining added a little ZIP to the trip as did the road to Hana and the back way to the art museum. Excellent vacation.

We had an excellent experience staying at Barbara's condo. She is quick to respond and is extremely helpful. The condo itself has everything you'd need for your beach vacation including beach chairs, snorkel masks, etc. and the resort is ideal in that it is located along the beach boardwalk so walking to other resorts, restaurants, bars, etc., is easy and scenic. The resort itself is quaint and has all one could ask for including a lei greeting upon check in, free am coffee, and a beach side restaurant! The staff is very friendly. One thing that I did not pick up on when researching, was that the condo lanai is only about 2' wide, but there is a beautiful dining set immediately adjacent to the large sliding doors so you almost feel as thou you are outdoors. And the view is beautiful. I loved the rattan furnishings and the beautiful local art on the walls. We tried to extend our stay but sadly the condo was already rented out...

We love Maui Kaanapali Villas, and have stayed there many times. This is the first time we rented a unit more than once as the view is so amazing. Maui is in the process of recovering, and we felt very welcome. Awed to see and hear about the recovery and what happened to so many people with the fire last August. Several local people said the tourists are needed now, and there were fewer tourists than usual. We had a great time!

The accommodations are perfect and as expected. In walking distance to Black Rock, Whaler's Village, and many other restaurants. Would recommend and would not hesitate to stay here again.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this condo and resort! The ocean view from the condo is exactly as pictured on the photographs and I loved waking up to it every morning and eating breakfast on the small balcony. The location and beach cannot be beat! We loved how close it was to everything in West Maui and enjoyed snorkeling right outside the resort. The resort is lush and beautiful and the pool/lounge chairs were never crowded. I would definitely recommend this property!

We had the pleasure of staying at Barbara's VRBO in Maui Kanaapali Villas, and we cannot express what a great experience it was. The unit has breathtaking panoramic views of the azure ocean and lush greenery from the comfort of the private balcony. Situated in a convenient prime location - steps to the beach, short drive to shops and grocery stores. Barbara was a great host, ensuring we enjoyed our stay and that everything was satisfying. We felt like valued guests, and her responsiveness to any queries or requests further enhanced our overall satisfaction. Our nine-day stay was a great experience, from the stunning location and well-appointed accommodations to the exceptional hospitality of the host. 5-star stay.

The resort itself is amazing, we enjoyed having the coffee ready in the lobby first thing in the morning and seeing all the friendly staff. The pools are spacious and warm and the landscaping impeccable. The adjacent beach is the best on the island. The condo has an amazing view of the ocean and had everything we needed. Barbara is quick to respond to any email and any question. It is obvious she wants your vacation to be as seamless as possible. I would not hesitate to recommend her and plan on returning next year.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Barbara’s unit. The unit was very clean, was just as advertised, and we felt comfortable and welcomed at all times. In our short time in Maui, we made many connections with staff members who were most kind and hospitable. The unit itself had everything that we needed (comfortable beds, tv, wifi, full kitchen with everything needed for cooking or keeping left over food in containers, double bathroom sinks and a shower/bathtub with good pressure and hot water). Barbara herself was an excellent communicator and we feel blessed and very lucky to have made her acquaintance through the booking and staying process. Without a doubt, we would book another trip to Maui and we would absolutely book with Barbara again. The Kaanapali beach that the unit is located next to is a beautiful beach (we feel it is one of the nicest beaches in Maui that allows for swimming, snorkeling, paddle boarding, and whale and turtle watching). The location is also close to restaurants and Whalers Village that is all within walking distance. We can’t wait to go back!!!
