We had a wonderful time at honua Kai resort- the condo was very clean and was stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the space and the big bathroom. We love coming to Maui and hope to make it back soon. Thanks again Bruno for making our stay so wonderful.

Excellent location and amazing unit for our Kaanapali visit. The unit was fully outfitted with everything our family needed for our 5 night stay: beach supplies/toys, fully stocked kitchen for cooking in, full supply of TP/paper towel/laundry soap unlike some places that only give you a starter supply. We all enjoyed the pool complexes, Duke's, snorkeling, and the beautiful beach. Bruno was very responsive and helpful with advice and checking that we had everything we needed. Definitely recommend and would stay here again on next visit to Kaanapali.

Bruno was outstanding in his hosting - reached out the day we booked and sent load of recs and info. The place is great - clean, well appointed. The resort is great, beach is right there - we spent all our time in the resort on the beach snorkeling with turtles, but plenty of pool options if that’s your speed. Hula pie at Dukes was a terrific nightcap.

Excellent host, accommodations, and resort! Condo was extremely clean and tastefully decorated. Comfortable bed and well stocked kitchen with very nice appliances and dish-ware. I appreciate the host providing plenty of paper products, plastic wraps, detergent, body wash, and shampoo and conditioner. The resort pools were great. Snorkeling from the beach was great-we saw plenty of interesting fish and turtles! We really enjoyed walking the boardwalk to the different restaurants along the beach. Host a very detailed guide for guests that had many great recommendations on restaurants as well as things to do. Great stay, highly recommend and we hope to return someday.

Bruno’s property at Honua Kai was AMAZING! The unit was meticulously cleaned and stocked with anything you may need for cooking, laundry, showering and enjoying the beach. The patio was wonderful for enjoying morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. I would describe the view as partial ocean view. Bruno and his property manager Marco were easy to communicate with. The property itself was wonderful. So many pools to choose from. People save chairs starting early in the morning, so if you want a spot with an umbrella/shade, plan accordingly. Towel dispenser machines were scattered all over the property and a very nice feature! If you plan to drink beverages of your own, plan to bring a solid reusable cup. We bought coozies for our beer, but they told us this was not permitted, as Duke’s has rights to beverage sales and liquor license on property. Drinks there were 10 each. The beach was gorgeous and we saw so many sea turtles. Recommend water shoes as it is a little rocky in parts of the ocean near the property. The only thing I wish we’d have brought or had were chair towel clips (very windy in the afternoon) and reusable cups for beverages. Otherwise the stay was perfect! If we come back to Maui, we will definitely stay here again!!

What a nice place to stay. Beautiful spot close to the beach and the pool. The condo was very well stocked. Quiet location with a view just like the picture. We would stay there again. I would give it ten stars.

My husband and I stated here for a few nights at the end of our time in Hawaii. The condo was clean and spacious, well stocked with everything you could need. The beach was amazing and we enjoyed the beach chairs and umbrella provided!

Bruno’s home is everything you could dream of and more for a stay on Maui. Yes, the property itself is incredible with amenities for everybody but sometimes the simple things are what stay with you most. We were so thankful to watch the sunrise from the balcony, put our feet up mid-afternoon and lay our heads each night in a place that truly felt like home away from home. Not only that but Bruno himself is an exceptional host who goes out of his way to make sure that your stay is nothing short of perfect. We had zero issues during our time and appreciated how easy check-in and check-out procedures were, allowing us to haul in and out in quick order. We very much plan to be back and have already recommended to several friends. Thank you Bruno for making our vacation so special and for sharing your home with us!

The room was very clean and beautiful. Everything was included and the beach supplies was a hige plus.

Bruno went above and beyond for us. The room was perfectly clean with more enemies than I ever imagined! I mean who provides laundry soap and shampoo and conditioner? Space is in the cabinet enough toilet paper and paper towel to last well beyond the two weeks we were there. Communication all throughout our stay and when we had the tsunami warning, he sent us up to higher ground to be with his family that we’re on the sixth floor unit. I am so glad they found this beautiful unit.

We had the best time at this condo! Loved everything about it. The condo itself was clean and comfortable! The Honua Kai property is amazing. Perfect for our family. Our kids 6 and 4 had the best time. Bruno was great with communication. Anytime I text for a question, he responded right away.

The apartment was the perfect size for me and my two teenage boys. We had every amenity we could need and the location was wonderful with a glimpse of the ocean and easy access to pools and other resort amenities. Wonderful location for a week-long stay.

Bruno was such an amazing host! I literally cannot say enough good things. He checked on us to make sure our stay was going well, gave restaurant suggestions, and made sure we had a perfect honeymoon. The condo was absolutely stunning and a short walk to the beach! Super clean, and it was so nice to have all of the amenities of being “at home”. Could not recommend this place enough!

We had a wonderful weeks stay at Bruno’s condo at the Honua Kai. We often visit Maui and this was our first time staying here and we will absolutely come back and stay at this perfect condo. The location is A, you can walk down to the beach and the pool/hot tub. The kids age 4 & 6 had an amazing time. We could walk 15Minutes to Castaway for an oceanfront breakfast, 5 minutes to Big wave snow cones and order drinks and lunch from Dukes by the pool. On our last day we even swam with turtles at the beach front of the condo. Bruno was extremely kind, honest and on top of his communication with us. Thank you Bruno for helping us make wonderful spring break memories. We will be back for sure. Mahal!

We absolutely loved Honua Kai! The unit was exactly as pictured and described - just beautiful! The kitchen was stocked, the bathroom was very big and the pull out sofa made it perfect for the three of us. Bruno was also wonderful to communicate with. I have stayed at many VRBOs and Bruno is the only one who personally called after booking and checked in with me before we arrived to make sure we didn’t have any questions. Thank you Bruno! We feel so grateful to have found such a lovely place to stay. And we will definitely be back.The only thing that could have made the stay even more comfortable — fluffier and comfortable pillows. (They were all pretty flat) But other than that, five stars all around.

My husband and I stayed here for 8 nights and barely left the property. Beach, pools, restaurant, walking path--all right there. The condo was well-appointed with all we needed and the owner was proactive in communicating with us. Our visit couldn't have been better.

We had an absolute blast at this property. Our kids loved the beach and the pools, and the location of the property. The condo was so beautiful and was fully stocked. From pots and pans to silverware, we had everything we needed. They even had beach toys and beach chairs which were great to have. Would absolutely visit again in the future. The communication with the host was impeccable and I received numerous texts throughout from booking the property to check in and check out to make sure everything was seamless. Parking was very easy and the instructions on access were also very clear. Great stay and we left with the best memories.

Our family LOVED Bruno and Ellen's condo at Honua Kai. It was a perfect location and stocked with absolutely everything we needed for our stay—Ziplock bags, coffee & creamer, and they even had beach chairs, bags, coolers, an umbrella, and beach toys. We have stayed at many Maui locations, and this condo is by far the nicest. It has every amenity you would need, and communication with Bruno was excellent. We are already planning our stay for next year!

I have stayed at approximately 15 different condos all over Maui. This was one of the best. Very very clean. Amazing location. Great pool. Swimmable Sandy beach. This condo is stocked with shampoo, soap, TP, laundry tabs and ziplock bags. Check out requests were minimal. I love this! No stripping your sheets or any other crazy requests. We stayed at this condo during our visit to Maui. The place was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Location was awesome and close to what we wanted to do. The proximity to the beach and pools was fantastic. Will 100% stay here again and recommend to friends visiting Maui. This condo was the perfect home base for us to enjoy a week in Maui! It was super clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The king bed was comfortable and my 9 year old was comfy on the sofa bed. The pools and nearby beach were great. The condo was super quiet. Good communication with the host. No problems at all. The kid thought everything was very fancy, lol. A lovely family vacation. Thank you!

Bruno was absolutely amazing!! From the moment I booked- Bruno contacted me and gave me recommendations for our stay.upon arriving early -Bruno allowed us to check in immediately!! I was so thankful!! The condo had everything we needed for our stay at the resort. We had a beautiful view of the grounds and ocean. The kitchen was stocked - coffee each morning and we cooked twice. - he suggested we eat At Dukes on the beach. We ate 3 different times!! It was so convenient and the tuna steak and pie our favorites!!! It was only a 2 mile walk to the whaler shops which we loved. On the way back- we watched the black rock ceremony- lighting of the torches. All these memories were Bruno’s suggestions!!! The resort staff were very friendly and the amenities were incredible!!! We spent our plane ride already trying to book again.

Superbly appointed condo for a beach vacation. The host provided everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Beach chairs, cooler, all kitchen items (including coffee for our first morning), laundry, and full size toiletries. We were comfortable sleeping 3 friends and the bathroom is large for getting ready to go out. Resort and beach were nicely maintained. Great snorkeling right in front of the resort. This is one of those properties you don’t want to pass up. Bruno and his wife Ellen the hosts, are the most communicative hosts we have had on our travels. Very proactive and helpful. Upon entry you can quickly see Bruno and Ellen are sharing their personal condo and this not your basic short term rental. Beautiful finishes, decor and just about everything you have in your own home to cook, clean, do laundry etc. There are 4 gas grills adjacent to the pools about a 3 min walk from the condo that are high end Viking and very clean. Dukes is on property adjacent to the pools and offers pool service. If you want to go to the beaches everything you need is in the condo - chairs, coolers and umbrellas. This condo is dead silent with the windows closed which is awesome for light sleepers.

My family had a wonderful time at condo. The pools are amazing and it was so nice to watch the sunset on the beach. The condo is clean, well kept and was one of the nicest places we have stayed! I highly recommend and give it 5 stars!

We loved everything about staying here. The communication with Bruno was phenomenal, they allowed us to check in a little early since we landed early, the condo is beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and the property is wonderful for families. My 3.5 year old particularly loved the pool slide! We can’t wait to come back and stay here again.

The condo/resort is absolutely beautiful! Bruno is a wealth of information with suggestions on the island. You seriously only need to bring your clothes as he has everything you need to enjoy a fantastic vacation. On our trip we stayed at 3 places on 2 islands and this condo was our absolute favorite! The condo was perfect! Great location within the resort, quiet with an ocean view from the lanai, but still an easy walk down to the pools and Duke’s. Very well appointed with high quality extra’s like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, blow dryer, zip lock baggies and more! We loved the modern furnishings as well as the art and decor. The king bed was super comfortable and had high quality linens, the sofa bed was fine for our teenager. Lanai doors were a bonus and made for indoor/outdoor living! We will definitely be back.

Staying at Bruno and Ellen's place was by far the best decision we could have made for our Maui trip. They did amazing with their communication and hospitality. The place was clean and fully stocked with everything we could have needed. I enjoyed the balcony space nearly every morning while drinking my coffee. The Honua Kai Resort was fantastic as well. There are great pools and easy access to the beach with incredible views and very helpful staffing. Parking was accessible and plenty of it was available during our stay. Plenty of stores and shops nearby (short walk or drive) to get the things you need. 10/10 will stay here on our next trip to the island.

To start, the condo owner, Bruno, contacted me right away after booking to give travel tips on our trip to Hawaii. He also reached out when we got there to make sure everything was good. He goes above and beyond for his guests. The condo exceeded our expectations, it was better than the pics and property location could not have been better. If we come back to Maui, we will book the same place.

This was by far the best VRBO we’ve stayed at. The owner Bruno communicated right away and even gave us tips on how to make the most of our stay. The condo is perfectly stocked with everything you may need for your stay and the staff in the building was incredible. I would recommend this condo to anyone that asks! It’s perfect!

The property was super clean and had everything we needed to make meals in the condo. We sat out on the lanai every morning to have our morning coffee, it was a beautiful view. We loved our stay at Bruno’s place! We chose this place because we love the Honua Kai Resort, but staying in Bruno’s unit specifically made it all the better. We got married on Maui and it was very important to us to where we chose to stay since this would be a very memorable time. Everything was clean, organized and overall just a great place to wind down after a long day in the sun. The view was great, with the mountains to left and ocean to the right! The room came with beach equipment for us to use like chairs, boogie boards and floating noodles. We also appreciated the washer and dryer since we were on island for so long and needed to do some laundry. The unit came with anything and everything you would need on vacation, whether it be items for the beach or to stay in and cook your own meals. We only had one hiccup with the door key, but rest assured Bruno was quick to answer our messages and fix the issue immediately (all while he was on his own vacation overseas!!) and we were inside in no time. Saying at Bruno’s was an absolute pleasure. And we will definitely be returning!

This condo by far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we booked it to the moment we left everything went as smoothly as possible. Bruno is an amazing host. His restaurant suggestions, sunset sail recommendations, etc. we much appreciated He takes the time to make sure each guest has an amazing vacation. The condo itself is truly a gem. Everything you could possible need is stocked. Beach chairs, cooler, coffee maker, beautiful views, superb location. The list goes on and on. We would definitely rent this unit again when we return to Maui. Thanks so much for accommodating 5 guests, it was wonderful to have our entire family together for Spring Break.

This was the perfect condo for our family over Spring Break in Maui. Bruno was outstanding with communication from the moment we booked through the moment we checked out. He provided a ton of great information about the area, restaurants, and additional details about the condo. The condo itself was amazing, and exactly as pictured. My wife and I stayed with our 2 boys (12 and 9) and the king bed in the master and the sleeper sofa were plenty of room for us all. We didn't spent a ton of time in the room (it is Hawaii, ha), but the kitchen had everything you could possibly need the couple times we did cook. Opening the doors to the lanai and having the wonderful breeze flow though the unit is fantastic. The view was also good enough to see whales directly from the lanai! The location of the condo is also absolutely perfect. Multiple pools for the kids and adults, Duke's directly on site for food and drinks, the beach wasn't crowded (even over spring break) and it has GREAT snorkeling. We also used the beach chairs provided by the condo and that was very helpful. We would definitely book this condo again and highly recommend for anyone looking for a stress-free vacation!

This is our 5th time staying at Honua Kai but our first with this property. Bruno is the top owner we’ve ever dealt with as he is super friendly, has thought of everything, and gives you all the tools/resources to make your trip top notch.
