Honua Kai Ground Floor # Luana 1B - 3 bed / 3 bath villa - front side location

Absolutely outstanding property and experience!! The condo itself is so lovely and comfortable for our large family! It was great to have a full kitchen and great space. The resort is wonderful! The pools are lovely and the pools by the villas are semi private which is really nice. The beach is beautiful and fairly calm making it great for all ages. Duke’s is awesome and the on resort markets are super helpful as well. The property manager is super helpful and responsive. Cannot recommend enough!

This was our first visit to Hawaii. The location of the property is excellent and one of its biggest strengths. It is just a short walk to the beach, the resort amenities, food trucks and Duke’s, which made everything very convenient.Unfortunately, there were a few minor maintenance items that need attention. We noticed a chipped section of flooring in front of the kitchen island. The bathroom door in the second MB frequently stuck and was difficult to open. In the first MB, near the living room, the bathroom door screws repeatedly came loose. The main maintenance issue was that the air conditioning did not work for an entire day during our stay. But Monty responded quickly and had it repaired.We also noticed cleanliness of the property could be improved. After arriving, we wiped down several surfaces and found a noticeable amount of dirt. The air vents near the front door, as well as the baseboards, were quite dusty. We also found hair in the bathrooms from previous guests. The indoor furniture has several stains, and the patio furniture was dirty and covered with bird poop. For an excellent customer experience, we highly suggest a thorough deep cleaning, especially of the bathrooms, furniture, vents, and baseboards, along with minor touch-up painting and repairs. We also suggest that each bathroom is stocked with adequate toilet paper and hand soap for the number of guests booked. Overall, this is a nice property in a great resort and we enjoyed our stay.

This was a last minute trip, so not many properties remained, but the pictures and description looked nice, and the price, while high relative to a typical trip to Maui, seemed reasonable given the Spring Break timing and last minute booking. However, the property had many issues that should be reviewed/fixed before renting again, including inoperable ice machine, coffee maker, broken screen door, what appeared to be a fair amount of mold near the bathroom exhaust, bedding that was dirty/stained, foam bed connection (to make two twins into one king) was subpar at best, pillows need replacing, carpets need to be cleaned, no garage access (no entry code for our stay), basically just felt like it had not been attended to by a professional company. No connection to the hotel next door to try and solve any of these issues. Would not return to this unit for our family.

Great stay and place was perfect for 2 families with little kids. The kids loved the beach, pool and running around on the lawn outside the lanai. Would stay here again if we make it back!

We loved out stay! Very spacious, ground floor condo! Close to amenities and pools. Had everything we needed!

This unit was centrally located and plenty of room for our 6 adults. We had an amazing vacation!

Impeccably beautiful home. All one level, so spacious, bright and well appointed. Easy walk to pools and beach. Washer/dryer much appreciated. Large lanai, room for all. Beach chairs etc made time at the beach easy. (We opted not to have property manager stop by to show us a few things. Would recommend you have him visit when you arrive (to demonstrate things like TV, cooktop…) Such an easy welcome vacation.

It was good for families with small children and still able to have quiet places for the adults to enjoy. Beautiful property

Nice location; close to the pool, hot tub, beach. Loved having a garage and ground floor unit. Made it easier for my parents too.

This is a great location that is quiet but close to the pool and beach. Great for families as we have three boys under the age of 10. We will use this place again for our next stay in Maui.

My adult family of 7 enjoyed this beautiful home for a week. It was not only in a great location, but the home itself was clean, complete with all necessities a family could need and more importantly, the property manager was extremely attentive to our concerns and ensured they were addressed in a timely manner. We definitely will be returning.

Our extended family met for a week in Hawaii and loved our time at this Villa. Great communication and the place was perfect for our family. Would certainly stay here again if our travels bring us back to West Maui.
