Konea 638 is an expansive one-bedroom suite that offers vistas of the tranquil blue Pacific Ocean and Maui's neighbor island Lanai from its sixth-floor vantage point. Due to its unique vantage point, Konea 638 is one of the rare Honua Kai 1br suites to feature ocean views that extend into the suite's interior living area.
Your party will enjoy relaxing in the suite's modern interior or on the spacious lanai because this suite has one of the most tranquil, private locations in the entire resort. To fully enjoy the warm Hawaiian breeze, fold away the glass doors to allow the relaxing interior to blend seamlessly with the outdoors.
When it's time to rest, the gentle Maui breeze will lull you into deep slumber in the primary bedroom's king-sized bed. If needed, the sofa converts to a queen-sized bed to accommodate an extra guest or two. The living room and primary bedroom both have a flat screen television if you want to catch your favorite show before you drift off.
We encourage you to express your culinary creativity in the well-appointed kitchen. The space is fully equipped with stainless steel Bosch appliances and granite countertops, and we have provided every appliance & utensil to prepare the perfect meal or refreshment... just bring the ingredients. Enjoy your meals on the spacious lanai or dine indoors in the climate controlled air conditioning. In addition, our commercial grade Vitamix blender lends itself well to preparing creative libations or smoothies with fresh local produce.
Take pleasure in spending your days at the resort’s three-acre aquatic playground. With four separate swimming pools, a waterslide, waterfalls, fountains, and four hot tubs, there will be no shortage of options for you and your loved ones to enjoy.
When it is time for a bite to eat, Honua Kai is home to the popular Duke’s Beach House, which serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails. Duke’s specializes in serving up Hawaiian-inspired cuisine using locally sourced ingredients and freshly caught seafood. Should you wish to enjoy a refreshment by the water, poolside service is available. For coffee, sandwiches, and other grab-and-go items, including beach gear and souvenirs, visit the Whalers General Store conveniently located in the Konea Tower lobby.
A state-of-the-art fitness center is located in the Konea Tower, perfect for guests looking to maintain their workout routine during their stay.
Should you feel like pampering yourself with a refreshing massage or treatment, head to the Mana Ola Spa. This sanctuary within the resort weaves Hawaiian-inspired themes and ingredients into its wide array of signature treatments. Great place to stay and the room was very cozy and clean.
The property is nice overall. The room could’ve been a little cleaner, and the patio screen was locked/unavailable. Other than that we loved our stay!
This unit has a beautiful view. It faces the public beach access which has large trees and is much quieter than the inner facing units. The other buildings are far enough away you don’t feel like they can see you. Opening the nana wall provides a lovely view and open feel. It also does not get the hot morning sun. Another unit in our party faced the other way and they had to have the curtains closed all morning to avoid the light and heat which made it feel dark and closed in. It has most things you would need. It included a cooler and two chairs. We purchased an umbrella. One note, this unit has carpet for those who would prefer hard flooring. We also found the dryer in this unit worked well vs other units we have stayed in / others in our party. Slower than vented but nothing major. This property is one of our favourites. It has everything you need. This building has a nice store in the bottom for quick items and a full grocery store across the street. The many pools are great for both adults and kids. Towels are provided through machines located around the property which is very convenient. The property itself is very well maintained, clean, and in a beautiful beachfront location. The beach I would suggest is for more advanced swimmers. We went to other beaches for swimming with children. Had a couple building related maintenance issues and they were addressed promptly. The communication with the management company was quick and effective,
Property was very nice, the beach chairs and coolers provided were nice. Room was clean and up to date. Pools were nice, and we loved the onsite dining. Check in was super nice, they had a bellhop to help load our food up to the room. Beach was super easy to get to.
Great location. Walking distance to restaurants, food trucks and grocery store. The room is clean and comfortable. My family and I enjoyed the beach and pools for hours daily. As well as the ease of ordering food while at the pool.
Location is great!! We love Lahaina area. The place was just as described, nice and clean:) we had a great time and would definitely come back again!! The only thing we wish the place had was lotion. Otherwise, no complaints :) Thank you
