One of the finest 1br mountain view suites available to rent at Honua Kai, Konea 214 is a luxurious upgraded 1br mountain view suite featuring a spacious floor plan, an extra-large balcony, and numerous upgrades throughout. From suite 214 your group will be treated to one of the best 1br mountain view locations on the entire property with stunning views of the West Maui Mountains, plenty of privacy, and the soothing sounds of the nearby waterfall feature.
Coupled with frequent afternoon rainbows, you will cherish your mornings and also your evenings when the mountains begin to glow. To fully enjoy the warm Hawaiian breeze fold away the glass doors and step outside onto the massive 215 sq. ft. balcony, one of the largest one-bedroom balconies at the resort and recently updated with new outdoor furniture.
The suite has been extensively upgraded and features new wood-grain flooring, completely new furniture, and new TVs. Relax and enjoy the blissful sounds of the nearby water feature after another day in paradise.
When it's time to rest, the gentle Maui breeze will lull you into a deep slumber in the primary bedroom's brand-new comfy king-sized bed. If needed, the sofa converts to a queen-sized bed to accommodate an extra guest or two. The living room and primary bedroom both have a flat-screen television if you want to catch a movie or your favorite show while you drift off.
We encourage you to express your culinary creativity in the well-appointed kitchen. The space is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, a brand-new stove, and granite countertops, and we have provided all the cookware & utensils for you to prepare the perfect meal or refreshment... just bring the ingredients. Enjoy your meals on the spacious lanai or dine indoors in the climate-controlled air conditioning. In addition, our commercial grade Vitamix blender lends itself well to preparing creative libations or smoothies with fresh local produce.
Take pleasure in spending your days at the resort’s three-acre aquatic playground. With four separate swimming pools, a waterslide, waterfalls, fountains, and four hot tubs, there will be no shortage of options for you and your loved ones to enjoy.
When it is time for a bite to eat, Honua Kai is home to the popular Duke’s Beach House, which serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails. Duke’s specializes in serving up Hawaiian-inspired cuisine using locally sourced ingredients and freshly caught seafood. Should you wish to enjoy a refreshment by the water, poolside service is available. For coffee, sandwiches, and other grab-and-go items, including beach gear and souvenirs, visit the Whalers General Store conveniently located in the Konea Tower lobby.
A state-of-the-art fitness center is located in the Konea Tower, perfect for guests looking to maintain their workout routine during their stay.
Should you feel like pampering yourself with a refreshing massage or treatment, head to the Mana Ola Spa. This sanctuary within the resort weaves Hawaiian-inspired themes and ingredients into its wide array of signature treatments. We had a beautiful time at this condo and loved the location and peacefulness. It was clean and stocked with everything you need. Great location and loved the beach out front. The only thing missing is an umbrella for the beach :) We bought one and left it for the next guests to use.
The unit was excellent for us as the unit location within the building was great for access, kitchen was well appointed, and the roominess was perfect. A few more utensils in the kitchen would have been helpful but no big problem. One recommendation is perhaps that it's time for a new couch. Loved the lounges on the lanai combined with outdoor table and chairs. We'd definitely stay in this unit again for a future visit!
We spent a wonderful week in this unit with my husband and daughter!! Very comfortable, amazing location, it was so hard to leave! The property management staff were so attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back!!
Our stay was comfy, relaxing and just what our family needed. The home was a great touch to our family vacay. 214 was clean, updated, and light and bright. We loved that it was floors vs carpet and having the kitchen and laundry was perfect. There was a bit of a mix up with check-in (hence the 4stars) but communication with property management was so smooth and quick that we were able to resolve the mix up and relax in our room after a long travel day. We loved that our Lanai was a little bigger than others (we had a friend with us staying at another location on the same floor so we were able to compare). Brooms were available to help with cleaning, but I do wish there was a vaccum of some sort to help with picking up especially with sand. The tub drained rather slowly, but im sure all the plumbing in building could have issues with drain due to excess sand. Our friend had several issues with their plumbing and while we were there our floor was having some kind of leak near elevators because there was industrial dryers out with baseboards off. In all honesty, I would 100% stay at 214 again and would recommend others to check this place out. The communication with property management was awesome and that alone made any issue not a big deal. We love staying at Honua Kai. This was our third visit and it never disappoints. The accommodations, property, amenities, service, location—all top notch! Can not recommend it enough.
Place is okay. Property managers are quick to respond which is good. Cons Black mold in refrigerator. They did come and wipe it down, but it had been there for months. FYI, it’s in the water spigot for the fridge. I don’t drink out of it anyways, but I’m sure someone does and they did not clean those lines. Pretty gross. Pools and hot tubs were nasty. No cleaning or scrubbing of walls. Can see the build up. Hope you like getting woken up at 5am to people being loud as crap. Wouldn’t accommodate early check in or late check out.

We stayed here after our wedding, so we checked in pretty late. The process was seamless and the condo is gorgeous. We had a high chair and pack and play ready to go when we arrived, and were surprised with a bottle of champagne in the fridge! The resort is amazing with several pools to choose from and the beach is just a short walk away. We will be coming back!

This is the second time we have stayed at Honua Kai. We love the amenities and location of this property. Always a great time here.
This property was great. Nice big space for 2, or comfortable for 4. We stayed 3 night but could have stayed longer! The pools were great, there's a quieter pool for the adults as this is a very kid friendly resort. Everyone we spoke to was great. Check in is pretty late for this place, I would have like it to be earlier but over this place was fantastic!
