This beautifully appointed 1 bedroom, 1 full bathroom suite has partial ocean views and majestic mountain views. The spacious covered lanai (balcony) provides a vista of the Pacific Ocean to the west and the stunning West Maui Mountains to the east. Additionally, this suite has a southern exposure which equates to more sun and less direct wind. This generates the perfect balance for Hawaiian air conditioning in addition to the central a/c.
The kitchen is fully appointed with stainless steel Bosch appliances and granite countertops, as well as our commercial grade Vitamix blender for use with smoothies or libations of your choice. One of the hallmarks of this suite is its southern exposure which offers morning sunshine shelter from the northeast trade winds. All of the creature comforts you expect coupled with the experience that Honua Kai offers.
Hokulani 608 has a generous layout and can sleep 4 guests comfortably with a king bed in the bedroom and a queen pullout sofa in the living area.
The elegant bathroom features a separate glass shower, or you may wish to relax with a soak in the tub as the day fades into a tranquil tropical evening.
We encourage you to express your culinary creativity in the fully appointed kitchen. We have provided every appliance & utensil to concoct the perfect meal or refreshment... just bring the ingredients. Enjoy your meals on the spacious lanai or dine in the climate controlled air conditioning. Also, our commercial grade Vitamix blender lends itself well to local produce smoothies or creative libations.
Take pleasure in spending your days at the resort’s three-acre aquatic playground. With four separate swimming pools, a waterslide, waterfalls, fountains, and four hot tubs, there will be no shortage of options for you and your loved ones to enjoy.
When it is time for a bite to eat, Honua Kai is home to the popular Duke’s Beach House, which serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails. Duke’s specializes in serving up Hawaiian-inspired cuisine using locally sourced ingredients and freshly caught seafood. Should you wish to enjoy a refreshment by the water, poolside service is available. For coffee, sandwiches, and other grab-and-go items, including beach gear and souvenirs, visit the Whalers General Store conveniently located in the Konea Tower lobby.
A state-of-the-art fitness center is located in the Konea Tower, perfect for guests looking to maintain their workout routine during their stay.
Should you feel like pampering yourself with a refreshing massage or treatment, head to the Mana Ola Spa. This sanctuary within the resort weaves Hawaiian-inspired themes and ingredients into its wide array of signature treatments. Maui Rentals made it a wonderful experience
This was our 4th time staying here in the last several years and it’s a great family property. Maui Rentals was amazing and very responsive in all ways. We did have a minor issue with an appliance and they were there is fix it immediately. The unit itself was perfect for me, my wife and I our two college aged boys.
Very close to elevator that lets out right by pool. Super comfortable bed also. Place was clean, complimentary water bottle and package of ground coffee were nice. Small view of the water but good enough. LOVED the walking beach path for my daily walks. All in all great vacation!
This property has everything you need for a great family vacation. The pools are great for kids, beach access with great snorkeling right here, walking distance to restaurants and shopping. No timeshare haggling. Maui resort rentals staff were very responsive to our needs. When we come to Maui, this is where we will stay.

We really loved how close to the beach we were. We liked the view, even if it was partially blocked. All amenities were as published. Easy to access all info. We would book again if planning on returning to that area. (Only negative was the washer was moldy. )
While communication was great and the company was very responsive, don’t plan on getting late checkout. I started the late checkout conversation a long time ago and was told I needed to wait until three days prior to traveling. I was then told I needed to wait two days prior to departure. Once I finally got an answer, it was a no. There is nothing you can do if your young child needs a nap due to a late departure. Thankfully, we had family traveling with us and their unit was available all day. Checkin process was easy, Unit was clean and it had the necessary kitchen utensils and dishes needed to keep your stay comfortable.
Second time staying at Honua Kai. Having a full kitchen, in suite laundry with two teenagers at a beautiful high end resort made us already book again for next year.
Great place for the family. Grounds are nice and the underground parking is super convenient. Maui resort rentals was very responsive.
This was the perfect room. The view is just like the picture. It was clean and fully stocked with everything I needed. Friendly staff and helpful. Perfect location. When I return most definitely would like the same room. Thank you 😊
