Welcome to Hilo Terrace 228 in the heart of the historic town of Hilo on the east side of Hawaii Island where tourists mingle with locals and really experience the 'spirit of Aloha'. We welcome you enjoy Hilo and the surrounding areas. This complex is a mixed use with long term residents and visitors alike. The unit is a top floor location in a two story building with two bedrooms and one bathroom. There is one designated parking spot directly fronting the building , with exterior stairway leading to the front door. The condo unit has a full kitchen and living room with seating for up to four people. There are two bedrooms, each has a floor air-conditioning unit and a queen sized bed. There is one full bathroom in the condo with a bathtub and shower. You will have access to the condo complex swimming pool directly across the parking lot during your stay. There is also a conveniently located shared laundry room with coin operated machines for your use during your stay.
Good location to base your east Hawaii adventures at reasonable price!
NOTE on AC: there are two floor units for cooling down the bedrooms. These will not make the entire condo icy cold. Our temperate weather is generally comfortable without full AC.

Very nice. Everything was great! Good beds, AC in the bedrooms, well stocked kitchen, nice appliances, super clean. Big clean laundry room. Pool looked good. I would definitely stay here again.
The apartment was very clean, had everything we needed in the kitchen, beds were very comfortable. The a/c in the bedrooms worked fine. We walked to the farmer’s market and strolled a bit through town.
Looked exactly as pictured. House was immaculate, Very clean and comfortable.
Very comfortable unit in a super convenient location. Property manager was communicative and prompt. The cooler and beach towels that were available were very convenient and helpful, as were the flashlights for exploring the caves.

The listing accurately describes the place. The beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. The kitchen had all the tools I needed to make a few meals here during my stay. The community pool is small but deep and pleasant. It was extremely helpful to have so many laundry machines available for use and right next to the pool. I didn't realize how much I would miss air conditioning throughout the entire apartment, or how hot Hilo could be in Spring time, but that's really a failure to read on my part. The bedrooms got to a pleasant temperature at night, but afternoons in the apartment were very warm.

Enjoyed the many restaurants in walking distance and inexpensive Uber to various beaches and activities. Fully stocked kitchen let me have some simple meals on the days I just wanted to hang out at the pool. The property was incredibly clean and amenities were fresh and updated.
