My husband and I stayed here while exploring Hilo. It is a great location -- close to restaurants and attractions in town, and not too far from the botanical garden, waterfalls, and other area activities. The host was responsive to all communications and provided helpful information within the unit. We enjoyed our stay!
Everything was exactly as described, comfortable, close proximity to downtown, and far enough away from the busyness. It’s not two separate bedrooms but rather one bedroom and pullout bed in the family room.
Very comfortable little house, coffee included, ac, nice shower, felt welcomed!
Great location and very economical.
We opted to stay in Hilo rather than the other side of the island where there are many resorts and more traffic. We had breakfast at the VRBO and then did fun day trips all over the island. The VRBO was clean, quiet and comfortable. We appreciated the reserved parking spot and option to do laundry. Shopping at Safeway and Walmart was convenient. We also really enjoyed the Hilo farmer's market.

We visited Hawaii National Volcano Park, Punalu’u Black Sand Beach, Rainbow Falls, Kaumana Cave, Hawaiian Botanical Gardens and strolled through the Wailoa River State Park. Wishing we had planned an extra day to visit!
On the island to move our daughter here for college. Location/accommodations of rental unit was ideal for what we needed.
I was attending meetings at UH Hilo so the location was excellent for me. The accommodations were modest and perfect for me.
