Very clean and comfortable.
Beautiful stay.
Wonderful stay on this beautiful and quiet property. We liked the location to explore the Hilo area but also Valcanoe National Park. The cottage has all the details to make for a comfortable stay.
My wife and I stayed here while visiting family on the Big Island. The hosts provide an excellent place to stay. The house is clean and well taken care of and the landscaping completes the atmosphere. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay.
Hale Pama was wonderful homebase for our Big Island trip. The hosts were wonderful and the cottage was super clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed as we recharged for the next day's adventure. We are beyond happy that we found this place!
Hosts were very friendly and informative! Great front and back lanais to relax after a day of exploring. The place was very comfortable with everything we needed. Centrally located for exploring the west side of the island.
These hosts care deeply about their home and guests. The grounds are beautiful and they shared the fruit growing there. There was everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had everything we wanted from dishes to spices to plastic wrap.Would for sure stay again!!
Lovely little place. Clean and very comfortable. It is in a quiet neighborhood and we enjoyed listening to the coqui at night. Great location for traveling to Hilo, Volcanoes, and the southern portion of the island.
The property and accomodations was just perfect for capping off our stay at the big island. Kathy and Charles spent some time with us past check out chatting about various ins and outs of coming to the island and were happy to share their experiences with us. The guest house was well appointed and set apart from the main house, we never felt like we were being a bother coming and going and thanks to the landscaping were always separate enough from views of either domicile from the other that we never felt "too close." There was a plethora of information about the area, from places to eat, things to do and see, and possible safety issues with that side of the island. I would absolutely return to this property.
We stayed at this wonderful cottage for two weeks for our daughter’s wedding. The location was just perfect, the property is beautiful and we had everything we needed to be right at home during our extended stay. The Woods’ are great hosts, helpful and informative.
Yhis property had everything we needed, was very private, beautiful landscaping, and comfortable. The hosts were helpful and pleasant. Highly recommend.
Owners were easy to communicate and coordinate with. Quiet neighborhood, lovely landscaping for views and privacy. Pineapples literally growing right outside the window, and they shared cut pineapple and limes, from their property. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
The VRBO was clean and very peaceful.
Great place to relax and go exploring on the island We had a wonderful time. Beautiful home and landscaping.
Perfect spot for a couple to relax and enjoy nature. Great BBQ and outdoor table set for evening meals. Beautifully landscaped. Everything you need for easy meals & grilling. Host is on site but the guest cottage is hidden in the lush greenery and very private. We enjoyed some of the fresh fruit grown on the property - nice treat.
We had a fantastic 2 week stay at the House of Palms. Charles and Kathy were great hosts who had created the perfect home away from home. Some of the features we enjoyed the most were the privacy of the unit, the lanai, gorgeous garden-like setting and the amenities that were available. The heat pump provided great comfort due to its temperature and humidity control. The home-grown fruit that was provided to us was a real treat.
